2:42 Pike and Musky seem to respond real well to short jerks with Strike King 8.0, shows how important it is to do this, especially if you're 15-20 feet from the boat. I do a combination of stop and go retrieve when reeling, as well as short jerks with rod tip as if it's a jerkbait with the 8.0, quite deadly. Totally unconventional to do this with a squarebill crankbait, but then again, we ain't fishing for bass, we're fishing or pike and musky! Love those new Chaos 20/20 rods, I had ripped a lot of big rubber that day too, but the musky seemed to be more hitting on the Strike King 8.0!

For sure, still got my dopamine rush in, I'm putting up 355 lbs on bench right now, that little bugger had some muscle to him, even with the trigger grip on the Chaos 20/20 assault stick!

@@EternalAngler damn I can only rep bench 150 lol. I'm only 5'8 160 though you're a big dude. But yeah nothing like getting a good workout in but as we get older everything gets harder

Occasionally I'll cycle in a little cistanche or tongat ali everyone once an awhile, but you still have to put in the work at the gym... @@EternalAngler yeah I'm well aware of the statistics. I've gotten tested and I'm about average level for my age. Because I was looking into trt. But just working out and eating healthy whole foods has boosted my levels naturally.

It's a good sign, still getting younger musky like this, I know you been doing well too! Always a good sign!!! Love me some musky, no matter what size, if the monsters ain't biting with big rubber, I'll settle for a smaller adrenaline rush in the meantime. I was casting a lot of big rubber this day, but didn't get much...
