First Reaction after watching SPIDER-MAN NO WAY HOME

I just saw it and the audience was crazy. Definitely one of my favorite theatre experiences this year.

It 100% lived up to and in fact exceeded my expectations. I have a few minor issues but the tremendous good in this movie far FAR outweighed the minor gripes I had. More than ever, I am so excited for the future of Spider-Man in the MCU beyond this point

I wish Stan Lee was alive to see this movie. Heartbreaking that he will never get to experience it.

The difference between Spiderman 3 and this in terms of villains is that while yes this had more villains, it didn't have to establish them because we already knew them from the older movies whereas in Spiderman 3, yes they had less, but they had to spend that time establishing those villains where this didn't

i need tobey's, andrew's & tom's no way home behind the scenes, the making, b-rolls, bloopers, featurettes, gag reels, out takes, interviews & talkshows, all 3 of them together, especially *the werewolf and the youth pastor.* 🤣

I fucking LOVED this movie. I saw it about two hours ago - and I’m still pumped.

People have to watch this in theaters. The audience reactions are what helped the experience.

Sounds like definitely a encouraging experience for us to have to see the film to be so awesome like endgame.

This movie definitely EXCEEDED my expectations. Tobey is still my favorite Spiderman, but I think this is the best Spiderman movie ever! 👍

I loved it. It wasn't perfect but the positives totally crush any of the negatives and they don't matter. It's the film I wanted it to be and that's all that matters.

This movie was funny as hell. All these great meta references to Spiderman memes and the actor drama off-set. Had a great time cheering along with my theater. Movies are back, baby!

you are absolutely right about Spiderman 3. my main problem was all the characters but I think learning from the avengers movies helped here.

I thought it was an interesting solution how they got the "others" into this universe. As cerebral as the movie was to open the first act, it was a bit jarring to have the change of heart in act 2 so suddenly. Act 3 from that point was cleaning up more of act 2's mess (I guess that's just spiderman) and finally ended the way we have always wanted Holland's Spider-Man to go but couldn't because of the underlying stakes of the past MCU.

Well, we're on semi-lockdown up "north", so I'll wait til whenever o.0 Last good movie I saw in the theatre was The Gentlemen just before the world went south... Thanks for sharing. FYI - I'd hold yer hand in the theatre LOL

Saw it a few hours ago, had a great time..I’m not disappointed but a little underwhelmed idk. It was messy. Definitely the best of the trilogy.

It was nice seeing all these previous characters, but as a movie it was not very good. Too many moments where I was baffled at how dumb it was.

I love this movie. They balance the fan service with the story they were telling. This is the perfect showcase for tom Holland as spiderman. Besides tom holland the MVP is green goblin. Best superhero movie of this year

I dont know if I was disappointed, and maybe i was just in a weird mood on the day, but I didn't love the movie, even though I desperately wanted to. I loved moments and nostalgia don't get me wrong, but the story and film making were just so bland to me. Putting the ultra serious and dramatic Raimi villains in this universe also felt weird and surreal to me, almost like an SNL skit at times. The 3rd act for some reason didn't feel massive to me and I don't know why. I really hope when I watch it again I'll love it and I'm just being stupid. I also think it may be because the last thing I saw at the theatre was Dune and that was one of my favourite movie experiences ever. I JUST WANT TO LOVE IT LIKE EVERYONE ELSE AHHHHH

I just finally watch this movie with my mom and we like it and I like how they brought back the OG Spider-Man actors Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield too and Tom Holland version of Spider-Man they all did a great job and it’s good to see them all together in one movie just like in the avengers movies too and I did like Zendaya in this movie she sure is so beautiful and gorgeous too and I like her character too and I love aunt May in this movie played by Marisa Tomei she did a great job and she sure is so beautiful and gorgeous too and I’m a huge fan of her now and I like Betty Grant in this movie played by Angourie Rice she did a great job too and she sure is so beautiful and gorgeous too and I’m a huge fan of her now and I wish to see more of that character too and I like how they brought back the villains for this movie Norman Osborn aka green goblin played by William Defoe he did a great job too and The lizard played by Rhys Ifans he did a great job too and I wish that they could of giving his character the lap coat for once just like in the comic books did and Doc Oak played by Alfred Molina he did a great job too as this character and it good to see him come back and I like electro played by Jamie Foxx he did a great job too and I like his yellow lightning in this movie just like in the comic books and it’s way better than the blue version of electro and sandman did a great job too played by Thomas Haden Church he did a great job too and it’s good to see him come back for this movie and overall I’m gonna give Spider-Man No Way Home 2021 a 10/10 stars I really did loved this movie and i have no major issues with it but that’s just me though in my opinions and thoughts on this movie John the Flick Pick bro

I mean the reason why too many villains was bad in Spider-Man 3 and not in No Way Home is simply because they're already established by the time you watch No Way Home. Imagine, you've never seen Spiderman, Spiderman 2, Spiderman 3, The Amazing Spiderman and The Amazing Spiderman 2 and you watch No Way Home.

I lovvvved the movie it was everything I wanted and more

Spiderman 3 was awesome. I don't humanly understand why that movie was hated. That raimi's trilogy is better than any other Spiderman films. However I loved No way home. Awesome theatrical experience. Everyone was cheering every 5 minutes after interval. There are some problems but that's stupid at this point. Amazing film filled with nostalgia. I laughed and cried throughout the film.

Sounds like a movie to go see.

SPOILERS: Since everyone is so jazzed about this movie I think it is ok for me to come out and say that I was somewhat let down. Im so so glad people like this movie and i want people to enjoy every movie regardless of its rt or meta score. but man I really think they took the easy way out for everything. The whole story from the resolution to the set up to the references just seem so convenient that it's pretty much fourthwall breaking. Nothing in this movie felt natural to me. Like the writers are always winking at you and every character is a weird caricature serving its plot purpose. Andrew and tobey felt nothing like their characters to me and the emotional scenes felt like checklists. Due to his delivery andrew seemed somewhat himself. A scene i appreciated for example was when he tried to level with electro. Or when tobey did the whole ''we save everyone its what we do". But even the things i liked where executed in such a checklist way. Like peter and andrew just somewhat randomly coming through a portal going: wooops guess im gonna spiderman pep talk a bit and kick sum bun. I think there were some great ideas here and again I LOVE how happy people are with this movie but I really think it couldve been so much more. Still take this over nothing i guess.

Am I the only one that genuinely doesn’t care about this movie? Lol I mean, I grew up with Tobey’s Spiderman, but I haven’t had the urge to watch any of the MCU films (other than 08’s Iron Man) so I don’t feel I’d get much out of this one. Oh well. I’m glad fans are not let down by it

The people we had in the cinema with us made the movie for us. We ended up going twice. The amount of cheering and gasps and just the pure joy was great. Pretty sure there were a lot from r/ramimemes. It was a great experience and the movie was the only good thing to come out of this year and we really did all need this.

Spider-Man 3 had studio interference, so no wonder it couldn't execute it properly.

Isn't anyone else kind of over how Tom Holland's Spider-Man causes most of his own problems? You said no spoilers, but honestly there's one character they could have brought back that I think they should have to close up some lose ends

It was good to see some villains from original trilogy and Tobey as well. But in the end it seems I feel nothing about that movie. The initial scenes when Octopus and GG appeared where inspiring and promised some good rumble... however it turned out into villains incarcerated by Dr. Strange's magic and then some ridiculous efforts to "fix 'em all". And that's it. Then nothing. I even was not touched by May's death: it is far from Ben's death in 2002 movie. The final face-off is chaotic. Three Spidermen against everyone and sequence is so messy... Nah... Shang-chi was better and even second Venom is funnier. This is just in my humble opinion. But the audience was really having fun, yeah. My best cinema experience because of people's reactions (not because of movie itself).

The other Spider-Men screen time was too short and Dr. Strange hardly in it(even if Bj this film it was sold as him being integral). Still don’t hold weight against the first two Spidey films 2002-04, not enough action, flat jokes and dry moments, curing them angle, Where was Toby spidey sense when he got stabbed? He always sense danger in his trilogy, now? Plot hole 3sec web swinging, suits without mask like iron man, everything was at night etc. If that’s how you end a trilogy, it’s not that good, way better than spider man 3 tho. Much fan service but not a cohesive story. Still good 7/10

Easily jumped to top 5 Marvel movies. Next to all the Avengers
