She was a coach on Voice Australia for many years. She is a cancer survivor from Hodgkin lymphoma as a teenager.

Oh wow thanks Nick I’m so glad you got through the copyright loop! Brilliant reaction, loved it so much. I knew Delta was gonna be your cup of tea! Delta is amazing, trust me when I say this is just the tip of the iceberg. She has sung everything from rap to opera and musical theatre, she writes all her own music, she’s an extremely talented pianist and also plays guitar and drums. Bro, Delta is amazing! You need to check out her song "Paralyzed" and then watch her video of the story behind the song. She lost the ability to speak thanks to nerve damage in surgery and had to fight her way back to singing. It's really moving. And that on top of her beating cancer in a couple decades ago. For another Aussie to check out who I guarantee will blow you away, check out Matt Corby singing his song "Brother" from the radio show here in Aus called "Like A Version". It's just Matt and his guitar - he's one of the best contemporary male vocalists but criminally underrated and mostly unknown internationally!

Delta is a phenomenal musical talent. Her voice is superb. She writes her own songs and all her work features her piano playing (listen to this again and the impact of the piano) and produces a lot of her work. Heavy is my favourite of her songs. She is someone who does appear to have it all: beauty, talent and musical career…. But she has had several battles with demons - her cancer battle as a younger woman, her very public romantic relationships and her fight to restore her speech following an operation. This song was reflective of her time following a public breakup with a man who left his wife for her. But Delta has proven top be strong, intelligent and humble with a very generous and caring soul. This is a great video - all her videos are very professional.

OMG You are going to go down such a Delta Rabbit hole your head is going to spin. Delta is and has been the queen of Australia and the UK. She has 9 number 1 singles and 17 top ten hits. 3 world music awards and 12 aria awards and an mtv video award. Her debut album went to number one and stayed at 1 for a RECORD 29 weeks. One is every 4 homes in entire country of Australia owns that album!!. She started off on the tv show neighbors and has been on top of UK and AU charts for 20 years. Shes been a judge on the Voice australia for years and just put out new music that went to the top ten in both UK and Australia. I wish she were big in US. She sells out stadiums everywhere and last year she opened up for the back street boys US tour to try to crack the US again. She also acts and was in the #1 netflix movie in 2023 called "love is in the air" Videos to check out "Enough" Upbeat rap vibe "born to try" Global citizens version "dear life" "Wings" "Your the voice" Lastly watch "my story behind Paralyzed"

I never get sick of seeing people react to Delta, especially when they dont know who she is 😂 the bridge in this song is wild. She's an absolute demon on the piano and, if anything, more impressive live than on a recording. I can't wait to see more Delta reactions!!!!

I think this is basically a story of Delta's life. She was a child tv star, musical prodigy, and then was struck by cancer just as her career was just hitting the stratosphere. No1 albums, musical theatre, you name it, then after being a judge on "the voice" for a number of years, she was hit again with a medical incident that paralysed her tongue so she couldn't speak properly. I think the song is mostly about the burden of fame.

First time, listening to your channel. I am subscribed to Dr_Kap's channel. Great request from her. ❤ I was asking myself why you don't know of her. That is a shame for an Aussie, but it's never too late to catch up on the decades of music from Delta that you've missed so far. She has gone through so much, is an actress, music goddess, and she plays piano so well. She even has her own music label called Atled (Delta spelt backwards). Even saw a video when she was a check out chick. Comedy gold.

Yes Americans are missing out on our phenomenal artists. Delta has tried to break into the American music scene a few times. she even toured with Backstreet Boys not long ago.. she a very talented song writer and pianist, her song list is long and amazing. Started when she 17 so been 21 years now that she has dominated the Australian charts. At 18 she was struck down with a from of cancer she battled that and won and in 2018 she suffer nerve damage in her tongue that affects her speech after an operation and she went through extensive speech therapy It took her a year but she did it and she was back singing though she says it’s different how she sings as she annunciates differently now.. 🧐😊🇦🇺

Check out enough she sings this with Gizzle a US rap singer. Songs wings, paralysed, she wrote and sang a song to pay tribute to the emergency services who faught our 2019 bush fires that devastated 100s of thousands of land homes and wildlife, can’t remember the name of it but it’s a beautiful song. She is our queen of female singers in Aus as John Farnham is our king he is the G.O.A.T,but only do his live concerts.have fun.

Delta is an awesome singer. If you love her, then you’ll love another Aussie Vanessa Amorosi. This girl can sing anything and is an underrated world class singer. She has been rated the best in the world amongst her better known peers when comparing voices. All the best from Melbourne Australia
