Greetings from the Poconos. I thought I recognized the highway, good ole I-80. The bike looks and sounds beautiful. Can't wait for spring! Love the Empire collection, I have it on my SGS.
Sounds great and looks like its got some giddyup to it... I just bought my first HD a week ago, 22 RG Limited. It's sitting at the dealer waiting on parts... apparently tuners are on backorder and won't get there until March (which is fine because its cold af here in IL). I just went with all SE parts so it doesn't mess with the warranty... Heavy breather, SE slip ons, and most importantly, SE 447 torque cam. Can't wait to get it back and twist that throttle on the highway and see what it can do against my friends stock 114's and 117's. Enjoy the ride!!
Bike rips! Glad you love it. I think that cam choice is great. I think the stage 2 is the best bang for the buck!. I think all the cams you mentioned plus the rs468 and the cr480 cams are all great cams all comes down to personal preference
For guys who still have twin cams I went with s&s 551 cams and I'm very happy. I have a hard time going the speed limit on the open roads. Cat delete helps too!
Stage-2 114 here; Running the S&S 465 Cam (full S&S cam chest kit) in my 2021 RGS...I love the power band, lots of torque that starts to come on early (below 2000 rpm) with plenty of power in the higher rpm range too. Also running the S&S 2-1 Sidewinder Exhaust (w/Ghost Pipe), S&S 55mm Intake Manifold, Fuel Moto # 3956 Ventilator Style Air Cleaner and tuned with Dynojet PV3b with Map from Fuel Moto. Soon will be adding the TT-8 Wideband Sensor Kit from Dynojet, along with revised Map to take advantage of wideband O2 sensors (must have Strategy 28 in the HD OE ECM to run wideband...my ECM is Strategy 28). Also goes without saying...running the HD Fan on the oil cooler and Dakota Digital Gauges with engine oil temperature sensor, to easily keep tabs on everything.
Great looking bike, and video as well. I noticed your bike has RDRS, did the power vision tune have any adverse effects on the RDRS? Does it still work correctly or has it just been turned off and no longer functions?
@@Marvelkid87 Good to hear. I'm going to be installing a wm8-22xe or the se8-447 in my Road Glide, struggling on choosing which one. The 22xe is the most powerful but the 447 has a little less lift which I feel won't be has harsh on the the valve springs and lifter bores.
We are about the same height, Bro. How do you like that elbow Air Cleaner? Does it get in your way, or is it without issue. Are you happy with the air flow? I’m contemplating swapping mine out on my ST. Thoughts?
Hey man cool video, I’m really looking into this 465 reaper cam. My question is how is this cam at low rpm maneuver’s , like making u-turns, stop and go turns, and two up riding?
Did change anything else along with it? Push rods valve springs or oil pump? I read on their site that it works fine with all the stock parts. Trying to save a few bucks for now. Don’t put a ton of miles on my bike so I could save and upgrade those parts later while enjoying the cam upgrade now
Where does your 465 power kick in as far as RPMs? I have the full 475 SS kit and was wondering what the difference is. The 475 kicks in hard at around 3,500
Considering similar cam but would like to know what type of gas mileage you’re getting. I go on long rides so would love to hear your thoughts on cruising range
Hey Marvel Kid, kudos my friend. You are 1000percent right that it sounds, looks and revvs up crazy. Enjoy it. By the way, just make sure that the 2 Mikes check your friends piston oiler jets while they are there. Would you also please let us know if they find any problem, I am just curious. All the very best (lets also see if you can beat John the cycle fanatix's bike)...
I'm interested to see if you did adjustable push rods or fueling push rods. I know pulling the heads off is a lot of labor. Should be the same as the S&S 465 cam? Power vision tuner?
The 465 chain drive is a very friendly stock drivetrain cam. Always do the adjustables unless you like pissing with the m8 overhead oil lines & the rear head upper rocker box hardware.
Nice cam but not you get to pay for any issues with your motor. Not me, I’m retired and in a budget. I have a stage 2 and can do 1119,128, or a 131 crate and still be protected. I will always have a extended warranty. I won’t mess with a nasty girl without a condom either . Most always wear protection
