This is the Tracer that I have been waiting for. Of course other global markets got the bike first as a 2023 model. But glad Yamaha is bringing it to the states for 24' It's a beautiful bike!
Im planing to trade my bmw s1000xr for the tracer 9gt plus. I don't care about the power anymore i just want peace of mind when on longer out of state trips.
I'm so disappointed we have another OEM not offering CarPlay/Android Auto. Paying a monthly fee for me to use flipping Google Maps is outrageous. I don't care if it's "only" $5 bucks a month. I use a couple different map apps on my phone, and everyone I know only wants to be able to mirror their phone. WE DON'T WANT APPS We want to use our phones, with what we already pay for. This is a wonderful motorcycle, but like other OEM's these days, Yamaha put a small tank on it, presumably to make the stat sheet weight look better. All the OEM's are trending to put smaller fuel tanks on to make a lower wet weight on paper, then riders are stuck getting fuel every 180 miles. Thank you for talking about the windscreen, no other YT reviewer have, they are starstruck by the tech.
Since it’s a light bike. How does it handle the wind at freeway speeds? And I keep hearing different things on the seat. Is heated seat standard or optional?
Above 70 it gets buzzy. On anything but the interstate it's not as noticeable. There was not a heated seat on the one we had in the office, so it's probably just an option.
I leave my vehicles unlocked, and keep nothing of value in them. I've had break-ins damage my vehicles and I'd rather let a thief rummage around and not damage my vehicle. If they steal the vehicle, I have insurance.
I'm glad Yamaha fixed the stupid two screen system and replaced w/this TFT screen. However, the Tracer is still the fuggliest bike Yamaha has ever produced, it's not a replacement for the FJR and it's too damn expensive.
@@blakerust6777 agreed- the R1250RS is out of my price range but that bike is head and shoulders over the T9GT. Think I'll just hang w/my '15 FJR1300A instead and save myself the worries.
