That was a gorgeous sunset you caught a glimpse of indeed! What was the temp that day you took it out? This has been the strangest and mildest winter, can't believe it was almost 50 degrees here again yesterday in CT! It's certainly been quite awhile since the last ride video you've done and the bike definitely sounds great out there! I was trying to figure out half the test ride why the gauges and dash look so different than my '83 Magna, then I realized that it's a Shadow, not a Magna ... LOL! I have never ridden a Shadow but they seem like really cool and fun bikes as well! Thanks for sharing and taking us along and you should really fix those yellow charging cables before it burns something else out and starts a fire - ride safe brother!
@@Speedslays check tires and hoses for dry rot and cracking (check tire date codes if that concerns you) Look for leaks and wet spots around engine, carbs, brakes, tanks, front fork seals and lines. See if it rolls freely and brakes work as they should. Check turn signals, horn, high beam, front and rear brake lights. Of course, start it up and let it warm up to operating temp and take it for a spin. Go through all the gears and make sure it feel smooth and doesn’t slip while shifting. Enjoy!

@@ericalmonte6127 I pretty sure the speedo was sold, if you want new plates and disks for the transmission, check eBay…..also sell the gasket for the cover
