Thanks for that. The emperors new clothes syndrome. Very telling. I hope minelab are listening. I have had a ctx3030 since they came out back in 2011 / 12 ?? always use in the sea. Works great. I have done a few strip down videos on it for those interested in doing own repairs.
Excellent Hunt there. Love the Marbles and Cracker Jack toys. I dug a tube of lipstick from Cracker Jack's not to long ago. Just the bottom part of it where I could identify it. The Ring is crazy Air Born. Congrats. Take Care
Decent enough finds and you got out. It's tough changing machines after years with one. Appreciate your honesty and thoughts on it though. Happy hunting.
Great vid and hunt! Congrats to Lumpy on dime! I thought she had found silver before? Oh well Congrats on hoodies guys and by the way my 900 falsies too? I find way more gold with my Eqinox 600 then other machine besides the X-Cal. 👍👍👍👍
Glad it's you and not me. You bought that new machine, and you love your old CTX, nothing wrong with that. I been on the fence also. I been watching them buy new machines and I will stick to my old Nox 800 and my trusty Excalibur 2. Why they rock because we are a team. We know the limits of each other.
Exactly. Well put. Only reason I jumped on the manticore is because it was supposed to be similar to the ctx. And the ctx gets heavy in strong current and undertow…
@@hiluxyota7200 I have been watching you for years, and you got me in the water and now I get about 12 gold rings and many other gold finds. Thanks for the reply and keep me laughing. Indiana The stove was the funniest thing...😎
@@hiluxyota7200 Not in the water, but I got 18k 3 stone emerald that art deco, size 12 1890 schoolhouse dirt find. I just went to lake this morning got a keepsake 10k white gold wedding band and two junk rings. we got a old swim hole 1920 in park but it's very sandy and full of cans. I hit many times and cried on the way home. Lol
when there is no gold markings they are old I learn that from you. my 18k has no markings. let me know if you would like a picture of it. It's bad ass ring. yes, it was tested.
Nice hunt, congrats everyone. the peacock was cool. I have 2 farms I detect and the peacocks there follow me around the whole time I am there. I don't know if you have heard of Mike from IFFY SIGNALS RU-vid channel, he is very smart and has some awesome review and test videos on the Manticore. I have hunted with him many times. If you are interested in talking to him I can give you his number. His tests include targets between iron.
gday from oz,dont give up on it ,after the ctx its swings with ease good for the shoulder,i use it in the salt and surf use the saltwater mode keep the sens ran down till its quite keep the recovery speed up at 5 mine runs as quite as a mouse, with the sens at 21 it will get 4g rings at 12 inches in the sand with no problem, the deeper signals do sound muggled but dig them they are at least non ferous, you have to get used to the shorter reports its easier to hear those deep signals when its realy quite dont worry about sensitivity its still deep, best of luck
I just ordered my waterproof headphones. I’m going to take it fresh dropping. I really don’t want to give up on it yet. I’m sure with more time I might get it figured out.
It’s basically a bandaid.. they didn’t actually correct the problem. They made the numbers turn red which in an iron field it would always be red. And the stabilization is basically a numbered filter which Minelab actually states that they don’t recommend you even using. So it’s basically a joke. Yes this video is a few months old and I won’t even download that useless update.
@@hiluxyota7200 I dug a half dime, an SLQ, and 4 ihps in a trashy park using the Stabiliser set at 2 - it works. They were all under 5 inches in depth, though. I don't recommend using it on deeper targets because they will be masked.
