First Session of Retreat on Ashtavakra Gita by Swami Sarvapriyananda 

Ashtavakra Gita is the most illuminating book i have read on hindu philosophy. I feel meditation is the key that unlocks this book. Without some meditative experience this book may seem gibberish or fantastical. But if you have some experience with meditative consciousness this book unravels like a code that has been deciphered. You read lines over lines of mystical thought and keep nodding profusely. It's really amazing. The book seems like a description of meditative consciousnesses in words as honestly as it can be done.

The most sophisticated and profound series of talks on absolute reality, Brahman consciousness I had the honour to listen to. What a way to expound the highest knowledge. Such illuminating examples to underline the Ashtavakra Gita. Complete in itself, revealing the true nature of the soul and the cosmos unifying mind and heart and going beyond that which is perceiving, understanding and deducting. What can be said about the absolute is contained in this 3 part series. It seems as though the Californian sun and air are fueling Swami Sarvapriyanandas talks to even higher grounds. I am awareness. I understand. With this awareness HOW do I move about in this awareness. How do I stop myself from killing somebody in anger. From where do I get the knowledge of Right and wrong. How do I know this. Consciousness which is projected in the mind does it guide me too?

Advaitan’s Razor I am the subject of all objects; that which is subject cannot be object; that which is object cannot be subject; that which is known cannot be the knower; that which is here cannot be there; that which is unchanging is unmoved by change

Just as the river don't see what is in his path, it's just flow, like wise what Swami sarvapriyananda says listen it, understand it. Don't ask silly questions.

Dear Swami Ji , i have two questions in order to complete my second stage. 1) I understand I am Param Ananand, The Supreme Soul. Every morning I get up and dwell in the same thought/feeling.....But then Why I feel so connected to this One body. Why do not I feel the pain if someone else Body is Cut down maybe in a black box without my observation (just an example) ? 2) And I also understand I am not this Body or Mind, but what is wrong in this creation of God ..I mean this Body and Mind. Why it suffer so much from bad health, negative thoughts......Sometime it feels this body and mind is cursed to suffer, I feel so much Pitty for this Body and Mind. Why such a set up by the almighty ? The Almighty , the Divine myself should be just spreading Love in all direction right? so why so much pain on Earthly beings/existence. Please the Vedanta Society Admin, kindly transfer my message to Swami Ji. His blessings and answers will help in our journey of enlightenment.

Very true, we are all are one Atma. But looks different. When a person realize this thing then that body gets real PEACE. Very true lecture but we need sum basic knowledge to understand this lecture. 🙏🙏🙏🌹🕉🛐.

It seems to be a paradox that all creation is from God or of God. So I guess Awareness is the frequency within the whole (God) that experiences the lesser frequency of God.
