✯ Why do you listen to music while Speedrunning?
I love the DOOM OST, but it got boring after playing the game for 500 hours. This gives me variety and lets me focus on the beat to calm nerves. I also like talking to chat to keep my mind off the run

When you do that area casually, you can see the cyberdemon by the map station through a window as a little "teaser" for the boss fight. Since we go straight there, the game is like "oh fuck dude" and quickly despawns it as soon as we enter.

What is the strategy with the foundry's wandering hell knight. I've been looking for a consistent way to find this critter, since it is required for a 100% on the level, but no one seems to know when and where it spawns consistently

There are 2 wandering hell knights. In 100% route, we encounter each right before and after the 4th gore nest. We run to the spot of the first one, kill him. And you'll notice I will shoot at a staircase from across the map. That will lure the 2nd hell knight over to us and by the time we finish the last gore nest, he'll be right at the door to the central room

@@Raitro_which is the one that comes from the upgrade bot room? That’s the one I usually kill at the doorway The other one seems to only spawn if I trigger it by taking a weird path through the blue key doors

Anyone know how to get the crosshairs into the same size as in this video? Mine are extremely large and I've looked for an option to decrease the size in-game and I can only find the option for simple crosshairs (which are just a dot and I don't want that)

man idk but for me 2016 seems like a much better game than eternal. the style feels much more consistent and bare handed glory kills are raw as fuck. Or maybe i'm just too dumbfounded that there are dragons n shit in a doom game of all things lol 😅

I'll be honest, I haven't played eternal YET(long story I played doom 2016 casually years ago but I replayed it in preparation to play Eternal and I'm just going back to find the secrets before I play eternal lol) but from what I've seen of eternal, it seems to be brighter, and more cartoonish, especially the demons and I just don't think they look as good, at least on a stylist level

Absolutely agree. 2016 feels more raw and brutal. Eternal was good but I was not a fan of the excessive equipment and platforming. Both are great games

@@GeronimoPlaz Maybe this is just me but so far I've been finding Doom 2016 harder than Eternal. Yes, there are more enemies and some are tougher than their Doom 2016 counterparts, but you also have way more tools at your disposal.

@@GeronimoPlaz only half right. I find Eternal harder too, but it wouldnt change anything. The thing is the atmosphere in 2016 is more serious, even the gore looks more scary, begins already with the blood color. In Doom 2016 you fight against demons, in Doom Eternal against pokemons. Good example is the shotgungrenade feeding the cacos. Their reaction when the grenade is in, ooof.

Probably it looks faster because I'm using a higher FOV than most. But yes, there is bunny hopping and gauss boosting that makes our movement speed faster in some scenarios

An ideal run will put you at around a 2:01-2:02 range. Sub 2 would only be possible after another reroute of the speedrun tho. Unfortunately noone is actively running, so it'll prolly be a while!

bruh, every 100% speedrun uses glitches dude. Even the old purists used them before RBs and PPCs were implemented (I have a video on that btw) Your comment is stupid and you should feel stupid

@@Raitro_When a game is thaaat glitchable like you present here I must say I can understand him. There should be a glitchless category as well in my opinion. Because - while it is interesting what crazy glitches you speedrunners could find - it would be also interesting to see a speedrun where you actually play the game instead of skipping half of the game.

@De-M-oN Do me a favor, and speak when you are knowledgeable on the subject and not just talking out of your ass. 90% the railboosts and PPCs, and more cut out sections that are sometimes just walking or cutscenes, or make the route even harder than without. I'll phrase it like this, categories are made on what people run. Not the other way around. If people ran glitchless, it would be a category. But they don't

@@Raitro_Why you are so aggressive? I wasnt to you? I wasnt talking about railgun, I was talking about clipping outside the map and skipping half of the map. This is cheating, which is fine on a glitch run, but it would be cool if there would be someone who would do play the game regular. Because the amount of clippings seem a ton. Yes thats the point that its then harder. What is wrong about it?
