If you look at tapes further, Maxey is to blame at the end. Not the referee not acknowledging the time out, not Knicks players, not anyone but Maxeys fault. He clearly gave the ball away at end of play. ANY basketball player in that position would get into a fetal position and cover the ball with your life thus allowing the referee to see and coach to call time out instead he gave the ball away to Josh Hart. No one to blame except Maxxey who play an outstanding game even though he was sick(true or not) but did not look sick. For him to rise above this game playing sick is a testament he is a good player. Glad Knicks got away with this one
All I got to say is the 76ers foul JB off the ball constantly. I mean I love 90s basketball so I'm ok with it but if you're a 76ers fan, you can't use bad reffing as an excuse. They're letting you beat up JB
Absolutely, Maxey pushed Hart almost out of bounds. Maxey never had full possession of the ball. Even when he hit the floor, the ball was loose. You can't call a foul if the player doesn't have full possession of the ball. Hart was battling for the ball. He never was overly physical with Maxey but was pursuing the loose ball.
Hartenstein got fouled on almost all his shots, and the sixers don’t have the better team, their 3rd leading scorer was Tobias Harris who scored an astounding 10 points, the Knicks have a better bench and a better starting lineup , Brunson has been playing rusty and everyone else has been stepping up
