And skip, smith, broussad and rob parkers (the big names) sole job is protecting jordan. It is what it is. I dont think there is a secret society in the media for it. Its just who they like. But 100% the nba has done some shady things to control jordans, brons, and others legacies with things they can control. They cant control outcome. But votes, trades in certain ways, and rules.
I hate the lakers too bro. As a Cavs fan it hurts seeing Bron on the lakers. It was too soon to Kobe. I wish Bron would have stayed or went to Knicks not the damn lakers. The purple and yellow is so damn ugly
@@hayden7062No it’s that Nick who is usually a pretty sharp/logical guy throws all that out the window when it comes to LeBron, and acts like his lawyer. Which is exactly what he’s accusing people of doing with Jordan.
"The league's job is to protect MJ." Lol this coming from a media machine that has spent all of its time each year pre-trade deadline discussing every trade scenario it can to get LeBron more help, every post trade deadline talking about how much more help they should have tried to get him and every off-season talking about how to get every good free-agent and best coach available(hell even ones still on contract with other teams) and start trade scenarios before training camp even starts. The Lakers have been out of the playoffs for almost a month and the talking heads are discussing how to get LeBron more help. I can't remember but was the entire NBA media spending every second of every day in 2001 and 2002, even during the playoffs, talking about how to get Jordan as many all-star to the wizards? The fact that the media focuses on getting a 40 year old LeBron James everything he needs and everything he wants is proof they're protecting him. We have all this young exciting new talent and yet day after day, week after week, month after month all we hear about is LeBron. Who cares if Cleveland or Chicago don't want to help the Lakers. Why should anyone care about what's best for another team?
Not even close, they were on the Lakers bandwagon saying who can beat them, how great they were, and how weak the East contender would be to the Lakers in the Finals.
@@OscarUnratedit’s just good for tv but honestly most people on tv that say LeBron is the best don’t even believe that lol they just know it’s good for ratings
Well to be fair, Bru's the one who is actually Phone Buddies with Rich Paul, founder & Boss of Klutch Sports, and actually talks to him from time to time
@@spawndemon9968he is, and all the while, he’s STILL even keel and steady about his thoughts. Nick gets mad like a toddler when someone questions something about LeBron and yells fiction around instead of actual facts bc he knows deep down MJ is immovable at the goat position
@@spawndemon9968Brou toes the line with Klutch sports but he is like SAS they both say he is No2 all time unquestionably and trash Kobe his rival every chance they get which has been real push since 2016 to dis credit Kobe’s legacy to prop up Lebrons
Nicks such a fool. Lebron gets all the protection because the media has a love affair with him. Current media doesn't even like Jordan, they think he's a bit of a jerk. They simply respect his game. Also, tbh, I don't think it's even Lebron as much as the Lakers for why people don't want to deal with them. Because the way the media and league handles and promotes them is beyond annoying to everyone else and it should be.
Are you serious bro. MJ most protected superstar of all time. Mfs make up stories to make him seem bigger than he was. Too many made up stories lmao. You can’t even look up half the shit they done made up bout MJ. Lucky him
The last GM who tried to be Petty and try hard to lowball the Lakers and Lebron in the AD trade ended up getting fired and never finding another GM job and the pelicans ended up trading AD anyways for much lower offer than the original offer.
Who exactly protects Lebron. Old media heads cant wait to bash him quick enough and the new media?! Who in the new media is pro lebron? Maybe Gil, defininely Shannon and sometimes Nick but even he's and held Lebron to the fire himself at times. But nobody from get up, Stephen A and SKip. I mean whos Pro Lebron in the media? The SHop lol.
@@BM-du4xo Ric Bucher literally got an email from Klutch asking him to vote Lebron as MVP so he has some votes. You can look it up. They go over the head of an Anthony Davis (who is also Klutch and had a much better season) to protect LeBron. If that's not protection and trying to change the narrative I don't know what is. And if Bucher (who really isn't a big deal) is getting these, what type of $ are Nick, Shannon, Keyshawn, Perkins, etc. getting from Klutch. Foh.
As a bulls fan I can assure you the media and nba coddled Jordan in the 90s. It was good for ratings for him to win and so that’s what they did for him
No KP for probably at least first two game, and on other side Pascal and Turner against who?And honestly Jrue is second all defensive team but TH and IND play fast pace,so i dont think it's going to be easy as many people think...For shure not winning it all without KP at at least 80%
He does though. Weak era of basketball played in the nba church league era. No overseas talent. No three point shooting. MJ was a big fish in a small pond of talent. Couldn’t get the wizards to the playoffs in the weak eastern conference with a stacked roster
@@rackball5858 rip Hamilton, Jerry stackhouse, Larry Hughes, Ty Lue, Brendan Haywood, Byron Russell, Jared Jeffries and Charles Oakley. Yes LOADED. LeBron would take that team to at least the playoffs and probably get them to the eastern conference finals. Especially in the Eastern Conference
@@DE4D_Pool let me be frank: You don’t know shit. First off, the Wizards were 26-20 before Jordan tore his meniscus. Hamilton also missed more than half the season. They were 15-1 together on the court before either went down. That’s not a loaded team. Hahaha. The Lakers have struggled to reach the play-in in 3 of the last 4 seasons & missed the playoffs in 2 of the last 6 seasons….any of those teams had twice the talent than the Wizards teams.
Ironically The Lakers don’t want Lebron to retire. Lebron fills the seats. Championships are for the fans and bragging rights Not Business, per se. Also Who can they get and/or develop that will be better than 20th year lebron?
@undiscoveredstars1002 you are one troll ass person lmao. Unless you’re just really that dumb? Lebron gets criticized by everyone more than any other player. All people do is hate on him because their insecure little selves don’t want to admit their goat isn’t actually the real goat
That’s exactly what the blazers did to the heat last summer for Dame Brusard. Miami had the best package but they shipped him to Milwaukee where he didn’t wanna go!
They don't get it. No one wants to have anything to do with Bronze at this point. The writing is on the wall. If he can't get it done - and he most certainly can't - he aint getting to superteams anymore to carry him. 😂😂😂 Read the wall.
This is so funny because that is exactly what the Bulls should be doing. They should totally draft Bronny, get LeBron to sign, trade LaVine, sign DeRozan to a two year extension, release Ball, and build around them along Cody. You are welcome Bulls.
Yall wouldn't believe it if it slapped you in the face. Lebron wasnt the unanimous MVP by 1 vote. A dude whonwas 2nd team all defense won DPOY over Lebron but they're actually trying to protect Lebron's legacy, not MJ's. Smh. Yeah right!
@@oscarwestbrook1155 What year did LeBron deserve the MVP? Yet another LeBron fan sympathizing only for his career. As if he is the only player to have had bad or injured teammates, been drafted to a bad team (most lottery picks are drafted to bad teams 🙄), or been robbed of awards.
Let’s not act like MJ doesn’t get protection from the media like come on now you guys can’t be that naïve they both do , so let’s not milk it with lebron
I got indiana winning this series. 2 reasons. They lost a bunch of games they shouldn't have lost. Miami or Cleveland should have never beat them. Personally I think they in trouble.
Klutch sports has 10+ media members affiliated with the from a business standpoint. Can some one please remind me what the name of Jordan’s agency again? 😂
The Lakers have the most reliable fan bases in the NBA when it comes to selling tickets and media bias. The fact that other teams, especially smaller market teams want to pull some of that attention away from the Lakers isn't only good business it's also good for the long term health of the league overall.
It's hard for the #1 seed to be on a path where they play several world beaters in a playoff run. The most they'll usually encounter is 2 (conf. Finals and nba finals).
At some point there should be a lead investigation in to teams unwilling to trade with other teams, or else mitchell can literally just say hes only gonna sign with the lakers in 2 years.
Dan Gilbert has a horrible track record with his stances against LeBron. Any GM that doesn't consider all relevant trade options is committing malpractice. Ask the Nets how Finney-Smith for Kyrie worked out.
As a laker fan I honestly don’t want any former laker players to come back. It was a reason for the trade. The only mistake they made from 2020, was letting their twin towers go. Dwight and McGee would have been their key to our success. And if it was their time, they should of replaced them with more bigs. DLO and Gabe can definitely go with a pic and bring in a solid two way offense consistent player with a little size Pause, and we will be just fine. The lakers defense was great against the Nuggets, but every time they got the ball they missed wide open shots.
@@MeBihhhhJordan was a first ballot hall of famer before Pip even started. Red Auerbach had him penciled in as a top 10 player in history 2 years before Jordan even made the Finals.
@@MeBihhhh No shit. But you’re saying that is stupid as hell. For one, Jordan only played 2 full seasons(85 & 87) in the league before Pip was drafted. By that measure, Bron didn’t make the playoffs his first 2 seasons. Without Shaq, Kobe didn’t get out of the 1st round until he was in his 12th season…Without Kareem, Magic didn’t make a finals until he was in his 12th season. That’s how ridiculously stupid that sounds.
Ive said for years, most teams domt want to trade with levron because they know if they guve him good pieces, hes almost guaranteed a championship. Its common sense and pretty obvious.
The goat train has already passed Lebron by and he never got on. Nick and his Bron fanboys are in for a big surprise Bron won't be remembered fondly like they think he will be. Just wait and see boys you will learn why most people have stopped watching and following the NBA. The NBA will be more prosperous when he leaves. Real fans don't like fake narratives and glorified unskilled traveling bulldozers. There's a reason why Air Jordans are still the most sought after the real fans know who the real GOAT is. Lebron's legacy will be forgotten, and he will only be known for his flopping and traveling memes decades from now. Just wait and see fanboys your "king" will fall from #2 down down down prepare yourself so don't cry when it happens.
Laker fans be doing dumb trades online but teams really be stupid anyway even when they don’t want to trade with the lakers. Nets GM didn’t want to trade with the lakers for kyrie then they traded kyrie for dorian finney smith and dinwiddie lol. Made zero sense. Teams are dumb spiteful just to not trade with the lakers sometimes.
If you're unwilling to unconditionally aid Lebron and the organization he plays for so that he can reach his career goals you're defined as being a "hater".lol
This is a fake story created by Klutch Sports. The Laker didn't want to give up anything of value yet they wanted Lavine, Caruso and Derozen from Chicago. They wouldn't even give up Austin Reeves.
