Nick wants bring up sample size when it comes to Jordan Love but will also pick and choose a 16 game stretch for Trevor Lawrence because that was when he played well.
The 49ers game Jordan Love was brilliant except at the end. So, don't say he had only 1 good playoff game. Jordan Love had the 49ers on the ropes and all but beat and then the Packers as a team let them off the hook at the end.
Sports media is about stirring the pot not being correct. That’s why the pat macafee show is taking over. They don’t just disagree so they can drag out a 5 second question for 10 minutes
@davidseelye7412 we do, cause some of us actually played. Playing and understanding concepts of defense and offense compared to watching and writing are different
I truly don't see Jordan (Love) regressing this year. Actually, the exact opposite, I see Jordan finishing in the top - 5 Quarterbacks in the league, he can truly make any throw (as illustrated in the last 10 games of the year). He's an extremely intelligent young man, incredible rapport with his receivers, and the main difference, which doesn't get mentioned enough is his coach, and what Coach Lafleur has done with Jordan is clear illustration of how good of a coach Matt truly is.
@@Smiley869😂 caleb hasn’t proved anything and we saw Love lead the youngest team to blowing out the cowboys at home who were like 10-0 and giving the niners a tuff game in his first year starting
And with that logic you prob woulda put stroud as the worst in his division and you would’ve been dead wrong. No rookie QB that even close of a talent as Caleb has walked into a more stacked offense
@@colbycarmichael5138 It’s the bears bud 🤣 They murder QB careers like it’s their one job🤣 Don’t get your hopes up again and then make me have to laugh at you…. again. 🤣🤣🫵
Its crazy how they say the have to see love do more because he only “had 10 good games” but in the same breath they say Caleb Williams is gonna be the best QB without playing a down in the NFL What a JOKE
Rank Caleb 3rd, that's fine. Ranking him below Sam Darnold is nothing but clickbaiting nonsense. What the hell has Darnold done in a 6 year career to warrant an ounce of confidence from anybody?
He's always thrown for a lot of yards, but his TD/INT ratio definitely fell off for a couple seasons. It's why they traded him and two 1st round picks after giving him that massive contract (at the time)
If you pressure Goff he sucks, dude was dynamite in the playoffs. You guys are hilarious. 1 season of Love and now he's going to be star. Caleb hasn't even played a snap, against top 25 teams he's 6 and 6 tds to int. Let's see how he plays against the nfl.
So if everything goes to hell for the lions and packers, and everything goes perfect for Chicago then Caleb could be the best in the division. Sure paint your picture however you want. I’d also say that the Vikings offense with an offensive minded head coach is much more likely to produce with Whoever they have at QB than the Bears new offense.
I agree, but if the question is closer to best or worst, it's worst. Do you really think that Caleb is already the best or 2nd best QB in the division?
@@jctsliceas of right now it would be crazy to rank him ahead of goff or love, but i wouldn't be surprised either if he was considered the best QB in the north by the end of the season. It's well within his range of outcomes.
Who wouldn't see ghost playing for the jets with a horrible offensive structure. Darnold now has a decent offensive line and the best set of weapons in the north with an offensive coach. Dont be shocked if he ends up with better stats than everyone else in the north.
@@MitchTsugi 😂😂, he is not better than anyone in the north bro. There’s a reason he hasn’t gotten many opportunities since the Jets, and on the Jets he was awful
@@joshuahodge8804 he hasnt gotten many opportunities because he went to the same garbage situation with the Panthers and of course wasn't gonna start for the niners. Just because you dont have the ability like other qbs doesn't mean you cant have a better year based on the team you have around you. Remember case Keenum and his one year Cinderella story?? That's what I'm talking about here
It’s sad that they pay them to say this crap. How can you say on one hand that Love has a small sample size and, Caleb who hasn’t played, is guaranteed
@@bboles9913 no he is not "guaranteed" anything. No college QB is "guaranteed" to succeed in the NFL. This is not Madden. If you recall, Sam Darnold as a superstar in college at USC as well.
And if Caleb struggles Nick will resort to the well Peyton had a bad 1st year & he’s now a legend. He is never not biased when it comes to who he likes.
No one and I repeat no one has ever done more to help their new quarterback then the bears general manager Ryan Poles, in this off-season and in the draft, Poles made the Bears the First team in NFL history to add a 1k yard WR & 1K yard RB in an offseason, he also made Caleb Williams the only 1st-round rookie QB in league history to join a team that both drafted a 1st-round WR in the same class and rostered multiple players who had 1,000+ receiving yards in the season prior. To be specific. Moore just put up 1364 yards for the Bears and Allen just had 1243 yards in only 13 games. And at the same time this also made The Bears the first team in NFL history that has invested multiple first round picks on a QB and WR in one draft, and not just first round picks but top 10 picks. With first overall for Caleb Williams and ninth overall for Rome Odunze, and despite the fact that Ryan Poles has moved heaven and earth to record setting levels to guarantee success for his rookie QB he is still gonna suck because Williams is just that big of a piece of trash, And when he eventually gets cut within the next 1 to 3 seasons wherever he goes they are not going to have as much talent available to him as the Bears did so he’ll probably get cut from his new team even quicker, so a lesson to everyone will be don’t draft a guy who paints his nails
Nah, Goff has a solid steady career where he’s proven to be a winner. Love has one season. I think Loves ceiling is much higher, but he hasn’t shown that he can do what’s he has done consistently.
Caleb gonna realise that Chicago is a system that isnt ideal for offensive development. Sam darnold at least has a offensive coach with arguably the best set of weapons in the league.
He's an unknown; Goff went to the NFC championship game and produced enough points to make the Superbowl, Love played exceptional in the two playoff games he played less than 6 months ago... the only question here is what does Jeremiah THINK he knows about Sam Darnold in the Minny system (probably he's playing with JJ). I do think people are WAY AHEAD in thinking that Caleb will come in and light up the league, especially in a tough division. It should be: Goff Love Caleb Minny QB carousel (pun intended)
Easy experiment: Look at Houston cream puff schedule last year and who they beat to give CJ Stroud his great numbers. Now look who Chicago has to play this year. If you think Caleb Williams is going to tear it up this season, you either didnt look at the schedule, or you know nothing about football.
Talking about a guy who got mad when he didnt start over a guy was at the time was talking about being a first round draft and has said he would get mad when ever his team would run the ball
This is why national sports media is dying. Only national sports media can put a guy who has never taken Nfl snap ahead of a guy who’s been to a Super Bowl. It blows my mind every time.
Man they’ve had how many 4k throwers and somehow Sam’s best year wouldn’t be glazed over by nick if Caleb has those stats much less those win lose ratio. The team didn’t magically roll over and decide to change everything that’s made them disgruntled
It’s strange that everyone forgets how often top QB prospects bust. Caleb only played in shotgun. There is a very real possibility he busts. I hope he doesn’t, but to just assume he’s going to be, at worst, a really decent QB, is crazy.
The idea that you make Caleb a top 2 qb in the division having never played a down in the nfl is so ridiculous. I still have Caleb as NOT THE BEST QB IN THE DRAFT going forward. This idea that he’s going to be a mahomes level talent is dreaming - he’s a smaller worse athlete with no leadership skills, which is the most important trait for a qb
They keep talking about "we've seen Goff be awful" and "Sam Darnold has been horrible" I hate to break it to these guys..... We've seen literally nothing from Caleb in the NFL. He's not playing Big 12 sorry defenses or the mid Pac 12 (he couldn't even beat Utah🤣)
How can Nick say Love had one good and one real poor playoff game? He had one horrible throw at the end of the game against the Niners, but had them in great position to pull off a huge upset. What has Caleb Williams done at the pro level? Oh yeah nothing.
People forget that Love did everything he did with the youngest offense ever to make the playoffs. OF COURSE the first half of his season was bad, the entire offense had no idea what their identity was. J Love about the ram Nick's words down his throat this season now that that offense has come together.
Its more likely that Caleb is great his first season and then regresses, rather than slowly build up to being consistently top 5 because its a league of adjustments
Sam Darnold? He's never thrown 20 TD's in a season and barely threw over 3000 yards once. I would be incredibly shocked if Williams plays 17 games and doesn't crush them numbers!
Name the qb that the bears organization has successfully developed...EVER? It doesn't matter how talented the qb is, the bears have no clue how to utilize that potential.
Nick isn't taking into account that Williams is going to play for the bears... He will have a bad year, and it is possible to turn into a bad carrer. If so, blame it on the bears...
I think the question should be; is Caleb more likely to be the best QB in his division, or is it more likely that he will be the worst QB in the LEAGUE? 😀
So, Jordan Love gets knocked for having a good half a season and 1 playoff game? How many of those does Caleb have?? Caleb is going to have to adjust like everybody else. Look at Trevor he is still adjusting.
I love how FOR THEIR ARGUMENT to be true.....ALL 3 other quarterbacks HAVE to be under the worst circumstances and be the worst versions of themselves, while Caleb Williams who has never played a down of football is under the most favorable hypothetical circumstances and playing his absolute best in order for him to be the best in the division. Sometimes these dopes are so ridiculously biased..it's insane.
All quarterback numbers are going to be affected dramatically if they are not protected. So how can that be used against a quarterback That's common sense if they're not protected they're not going to play well.
Soo we should pump the breaks for Jordan Love, who played already a season in the NFL, but Caleb, who played a bad last season in college and was never a pro is gonna be the best QB in the NFC North? Nick is such a Fanboy it is unbelievable...
As a Bears fan, this is blasphemous. How is he worse than Darnold? 3 sounds fair for this year but he absolutely will be the best in the division within two years.
JLoves Niners game was awful? Sure it wasn’t great, but for most of the game he played pretty well. Just kinda fell apart at the end. Made some great throws. Packers catch either of those free picks or make that fg we talking a different story. Love put them in a position to beat the juggernaut Niners. That’s a positive not a negative
Caleb sucked at usc and they just showed a clip of him throwing to his nfl receivers and the receiver said he’ll now cuz he stopped for like 8 seconds and had to come back to the ball and he said he’ll nah
The fact that these guys argument is based all “if” 2 other QB’s fall off. Is just crazy. I get it with Goff. He can call off, but for him to fall off as bad as they say he might is completely wrong. I don’t even like the Lions. I would love to see that fall off but no. Then as far as Love goes the first part of the season was not good, but look at the film. The whole team was young. Guys were missing blocking assignments, WR’s were running the wrong routes, and Love made some young first year starter mistakes. Idc who you are it’s going to happen, but look when the team all started to come together and really understand their assignments and started to get the reps in. The Packers are as scary as any team this year.
