Both Tatum and Brown are under 28 years old. I don't know why everybody's being so dismissive about how good they are about to be neither one of these guys has hit their peak yet and more than likely they're going to hit it right around the same time which is probably going to be next year
The Celtics will win at least two or three rings before they hang it up. I mean their prime is just starting and they are young in this experience already. I expect them at minimum to be in the finals again next year.
What's wild about this Cs team is they still have so much runway to get better - literally just Tatum and/or Brown just continuing to improve and the can absolutely do that.
These guys all picked against my Celtics and JT. JT scored 25, had 5 assists and 5 reb a game. Idk exact numbers they were probably even better. The point is that the man has achieved the goal of being a champion BOSTON CELTIC. @user-gr6ux9ze9s No knock against Luka but being one of the best is different from being one of the best and accomplished. Moreover, he is one of the best offensive players. But in defense he is nowhere close, rather a liability. If you are one of the best you cannot have so many holes that the opponents can expose. Moreover, he doesn't even have an MVP. Even Tatum is one of the best but he shrinks when the stage is too big. That's the knock against him but through the year he is as good as luka if not better cuz he defends as well. Nobody gives defence the due respect. Offense wins you games. Defence wins you championships. People forget that. The celtics despite playing the worst all year in terms of offence still managed to win solely on their defense alone. This should be a lesson to teams and voters. People forget to give due importance to it. I'd take a 2 way player any day over a one way player. He got exposed in the finals and going forward People are going to look for that match up everytime through constant switches and exploit it till he improves his defense. I am not a celtics guy but well I was sure they are going to win based on their talent alone because this is a very different team from last year. A lot of people got swayed by the recency bias and also thinking that celtics had it easy. They made it look easy that's all. Not having a superstar due to an injury don't mean your team is weak. They can still throw surprises at you and they play like they have nothing to loose which is even more dangerous. Look at Indiana. Nothing against Doncic man but he still has a long way to go and has to achieve a lot more to be in the same league as a Giannis or Jokic. He is still young and has a lot of time but he needs to be open to growing as a player and work on improving his defence. He won way too much way too young in europe and that could make you feel you know everything. I hope he doesn't fall into that sinkhole because there is no coming back from that and he would be another what could have been kinda story.
