I didn't get a chance to get a lot of footage from the show because I was so busy with my own art booth. Next time I will focus more on the rest of the event and artists to share with you guys!
I've been painting on and off for about 10 years. I always get discouraged when my paintings don't come out how I imagine. Your videos and tips have really helped me not give up these last couple years.
First off, I really like the iridescence you got on the fish's stripes. On the topic of shadows, I'm painting a flower that has lots of yellows and oranges and I wasn't happy with how the shadows were coming out. I thought they needed more oomph. Then I remembered your advice about shading colors like that with purple. I tried it and it's worked so well. Also, I'm using watercolor pencils for this particular project and I see why you liked them so much.
Hi, Lisa! Loved seeing you at Aquashella!! It was an amazing experience! So happy it was so close to where I live! I need more Chicken video, please! :)
The event looked so well presented with such a variety of marine and amphibians. Hope you had fun (I heard you don’t get out much as you are so busy working) and the painting is amazing as usual
Great job‼️Love the whales 🐋 at the end💜💜💙💕 Pretty colors, & the very last one with George Aquashella painting 😍 Beautiful beautiful colors too👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Hi Lisa, I love the emperor butterfly fish painting!! The Acquashella event looks great and the "coffee for a painting" story was funny 😂 Thanks for the tips 💕💕
You could keep those red eyed tree frogs with a couple of Phelsuma cepediana (blue tailed day gecko) I'm almost certain you'd fall in love with them. they basically scream 'paint me!' and unlike many other species these two do not bother each other at all and can be kept together in the same enclosure.
I love fishes 😍 i have 4 goldfishes 😂 Welcome back Lachri!! 😘👍 And ohhh by the way, you're using a makeup brush for blending so can i use that also?😊 Thank youuu 😉 ~wahh the man with the coffee 😂😂😂
Thanks for showing us your experience! The fish, snakes and all are lovely. I am recently digging deeper and studying basic biology and mainly sea life (barely beginning lol) during some of my spare time. The color combo of the painting's background for the emperor angelfish painting is very lovely (lovely fish by itself too). I do feel you on the brush. One time I paid $8 for a brush at Michael's (after the coupon, too) and that thing shed like mad. I did get a sheddy make-up brush from the Dollar Tree ages ago, but the brush at Michael's was far worse and the Dollar Tree brush eventually stopped leaving so much lol. "Artist this and that" isn't always the best I guess.
