Quang Tran Please do a SINGAPOREAN FEAST!!: Salted egg fried chicken and shrimp Chili crab Kway teow Laksa Bak Kut Teh (meat bone soup) Kaya Toast and soft boiled eggs
Hey bro, the nigerian gang is out here bro! Its great to see you enjoying our food bro. It brought a smile to face. Keep up the good videos bruh! Been watching you since September and so far I haven't regretted it. Maybe you should do some more anime based recipes too, cuz I jumped on your channel from the Goku feast. Thanks for embracing our culture bruh. Peace easy!
Yes for the Nigerian food! Looks good. The fish was fried tilapia in fried tomato stew. Moi moi is a sort of beans cake sometimes made with fish, shrimp or boiled egg. The fufu sauce is "egusi". Melon seed and spinach cooked in tomato sauce with dried shrimp or fish.
@@flamev946 fufu, or specifically pounded yam what he was eating. Traditionally it is yams manually pounded to a more dense mashed potato like texture and eaten with the soup. Here in America (and Canada), there is pounded yam flour that people make at home as it is a lot easier to prepare than to manually pound yam. Sort of an instant alternative.
sarahtheshiznet u r confusing fufu with pounded yam pounded yam is made from cooked yams pounded in a mortar and pestle fufu is entirely different fufu is kinda like pando yam which is processed it is a main fact among the Nigerian yoruba tribe which the fish originates from
@@QuangTran. Quang Tran just took time out of his beautiful Canadian day to use his beautiful clean hand to reply to my comment 😫 if nothing else good happens today i won't complain
Shout out to jollof rice grew up eating that in Chicago with my Nigerian homies I love that shit, you have to eat it with the dry aged beef. Im jealous I know that shit was great
What I love about Quang, is he embraces every culture and respects the food from that nation. Big love my dude. Can’t believe I’ve only discovered your channel!
My Grand Father is from Nigeria, and everytime I come to his house he has Nigerian Food cooked and its like some of best food I’ve ever tasted. So Glad you did this review & yeah you should of had rice with that fish 100x better with it.👍😂
I can't believe I'm just seeing this video after being a quang gang for months! I'm Nigerian and I'm glad you tried our food. Much love from Nigeria ❤️🇳🇬🇳🇬
I rate how excited you are to eat our food. No weird hesitations just enthusiastic about trying new food even without fully understanding what you’re eating. I rate it
No one noticed how he eat that rice? The sound it makes once he put the fork in his mouth lol, that's how Asians eat noodles, they draw the strands in, and that makes that air noise you hear lol,
Officialasim 🤦🏽♀️ no one is attacking him. It’s clarification for him and viewers like you. Plus I’m Nigerian....so I’m explaining MY culture and how to eat the food. Relax
Could you not? Nigerians call it different things: soup, stew, sauce. My family call it stew. Are we not Nigerian enough for you? Just appreciate that he’s enjoying the meal.
Nigerian here. This video is awesome. The Moi Moi is beans blended with seasonings and palm oil with an egg in the middle. The fish and fufu with the egusi soup go together. The egusi soup is made out of melon seeds. I am glad u enjoyed it.
ABOUT TIME!!! Lol jk. But I really wish there was more people like you who don't mind trying different cuisines of different backgrounds because all in all if we close our eyes we love the same food!!! Love you Quang!! 💙💙💙
I’m obsessed with Nigerian food , the amount of money I spent on Jollof rice and beef with fufu and egusi in the past few months 😂😂😂 and I’m not even Nigerian or African born at that 😂
Fufu and egusi soup- Egusi is ground melon seeds - you can also use ground almonds as well, mixed with an egg. The green stuff is spinach. It's all cooked in tomato stew. with any meats of your choice
He smacks his tongue up on the roof of his mouth, he slurps RICE, he repeats the same phrase in almost every bite and he chews fast. I think he just does it cuz he has a "I can do what I want" Attitude lol no Fs given. It is irritating tho but he won't change so we shouldn't stress haha
Do a mukbang of Brazil's most famous dish: Feijoada. It consists of a stew with black beans, pork and beef. It's also served with rice, collar greens, cassava powder, and a sauce made with small cutted pieces of tomato, onion, peppers and vinager.
OMG the nostalgia it’s been a minute since I had Nigerian 🇳🇬 food. The moimoi is made out of grinded beans you can either steam or bake it. And the fufu soup(elusive) is made out of melon seeds so delicious 😋
Egusi (melon seed, looks like pumpkin seed in shape, but white in color) soup with fluted pumpkin leaves is the fufu sauce. Sometimes, we use spinach or bitter leaves in our Egusi soup. Moi moi can be made from black eye and honey brown beans, lentils etc am lazy so I use split red lentils. Moi moi is a steamed pudding. Ginger&nutmeg is a must in moi moi spicing. We use a lot of dry fish and stock fish in our soup. Probably the odd tasting apparel to the soup. The Tilapia can be eaten with plantain, rice, chips etc. the fish is grilled. It is a finger food.
Awesome how you bring these dishes from around the world to your videos and you have access to it right in your city that’s dope all love brotha happy holidays
@@shadyzbabii420 Am Panamanian and I got the diri djon djon (black rice) recipe from an Haitian lady on youtube , that rice is delicious, I just made it today. I whish he would do a mukbang and rate it.
My dad grew up in Africa. We live in a small town, and I have to drive 80 miles to go buy him fufu flour every few months so he can eat this stuff. His fufu soup usually looks like that one, and he uses fish in it. He makes a few different soups for it though. He prefers Platain fufu to Cassava fufu though.
Quang I'm Nigerian your no supposed to chew fufu you just swallow it😅 and from the look of the soup I think it is egusi which is made of melon seeds vegetables spices and meat. but good video I'm glad your open to tring many different food and thanks for trying Nigerian food.
I know this very well. My husband is Nigerian and he swallows it, but I'm American and I HAVE TO CHEW! besides what's the point of putting so much spices in your food if your gonna swallow it!?
People might say all sort about nigeria but nigerian food is truly wonderful.lt nourishes down to the soul and very healthy, you will forget indian meal in a minute. You wanna try that fish with some grilled plantain. Also try suya, ofe nsala(white soup) edin kaekong.Cheers from england.
he means because Canada is very diverse and it’s easy to access other foods from a different culture. So he loves the food but loves Canada for that specific reasons ☺️🇨🇦
So the Fufu sauce is Egusi. Main ingredients are egusi seeds, pumkin leaves, palmoil, stock fish, cray fish etc. You actually don't chew fufu that's something i've learned. Try suya or okra soup next time. You'll love it! 🙏🏼
