I remember screaming because Bazelgueese had dive bomb in when I was hunter a Diablos. I forgot I had my Mic on and the other players that joined to help in the quest. Heard me screaming as I was running away. I remember just hearing there laughs and one of them like "Should we help." Then another player was like "Yeah... I got the Dung bomb ready." 😂😂😂
@@minato1048 An item, made from dung, that when successfully thrown at a large monster will cause it to run away. So if facing two big bads at once, pick one of them that you don't want to deal with and hit em with poo.
Ah, Bagel Goose. It's my favorite prank the game has for newbies. Nothing like being carpet bombed by an angry pine cone to say: "Welcome to the real game, rookie!"
No seriously the whole low rank is just the damn tutorial. When this mf showed up I had cruised through everything with minimal issues cuz of defender gear this guy came along and carpet bombed the ever living daylights out of me I was never safe
@@anthonyrhodes5667 Ik I didn't know that at the time I just saw the insane armour stat and used it and for low rank it carries hard but around nergi it fell off.
Motherfucker, that happened to me, literally I was hunting a Zinogre with my friend, and we see a rajang. The rajang couldnt see us, but he get angry anyway and chased us the entire hunt lol
I rembember that after my first mision with him saying "hello", i went straigt to kill him hopping he will never respawn again for the rest of the game (i knew that wasnt to happend, but still... XD)
Difference between deviljho and basil is that basil is hard-coded to move to the same zone as any enraged monster and will not leave even with dung pods at least not for long he'll leave to the closest zone and then he'll come right back and enraging in the process and since he has a really high move rate between zones even if you're not hunting anything your chances of encountering him are a lot higher than most other monsters
It’s one thing to see a Bazel for the first time. It’s another thing to realize that that flying bastard is *_everywhere._* Imagine scouring the Rotten Vale to suddenly hear trumpets blare and his massive noggin descending through the ceiling lmao
You know what I had something happen where Bazelguese was just clipping in the tiny hallway of the Great Jagras cave like it scared me with how he just appeared in there
I did an investigation today - Odogaron + Deviljho. Now guess who made it all the way down to the very BOTTOM LEVEL OF THE ROTTEN VALE TO INTERFERE WITH MY DEVILJHO FIGHT
That moment when HR Bazel has a specific line of code where if you(the hunter) is fighting a monster for a specific amount of time…they decide to invite themselves over.
@niggymonkey Last I (vaguely) recall, it was based on hearing roars. Bazel and Deviljho will hear them and speed their asses over to whatever's making noise and shut it up.
Wait that’s real? I thought they were just programmed to seek you out specifically. I swear I’ve stayed away from them the best I could and they just aggro somehow. Do you know if they aggro when small monsters aggro you or is it something specific like hitting them or them roaring?
Jfc this vid just shot me XD the amount of times I've been minding my own business or something just for the orchestra to start up. I've caught myself yelling "NOBODY FKN ASKED YOU BEETLEJUICE" so many times
Hunter: goes to funeral walks up to the coffin Bazelgeuse: *crammed yet some how not sticking out of it speaking in a muffled voice* "why hello there!"
bazel is probably my favourite monster ever. they nailed his theme and there is nothing quite like those early world days just hunting some random high rank and BOOM bazel lands on you from no where.
@@oceanoftearsandpoems the amount of hunters he has bagged would beg to differ. If only seething was an invader I’d agree with you but since he lost out on that element I like the base version better
@@Jujuthesavage what do you mean? do you mean that only b-52 base can invade? honestly i hate b-52 base. it just spams attacks and is infuriating. (he is like katsu(kezu), just as annoying and un-fun but the sub species adds enough change that makes it actually unique, mostly fun and challenging) i wouldn't have minded b-52 base if it didn't leave then instantly returned to where you where. i have had b-52 return over 8 times during a single hunt after dung bombing him each time. why do i have to waste more time hunting it down if it exists in the area each time i do a hunt or use 10+ dung bombs just to make the hunt not an annoyance? he wouldn't be 10% as bad if they made his aggression lower when out of combat. it is also reminder of qurupeco(very very interesting idea but was painful to fight against or if it was in the area). it could summon pickle(deviljo) to the area and heal(20% total hp OF EVERY MONSTER IN THE AREA),buff (damage and defence) and aoe flash stun like gypcerous and the one in world i keep forgetting the name of) and more. the problem of b-52 stopped existing as of iceborn dlc but in base world area it was infuriating.
I remember absolutely confusing my friend during his first time through MHW. He had just hit high rank, and I'm in another area so he can only hear me on Discord. "Bagel? No Bagel! No! Where did I put those Poo Pods?" He was super confused, so he made his way towards me only to hear Bagels roar for the first time, and insta-cart from being divebombed. That was his introduction do Bazelgeuse." "Dude, what the hell was that?" Bagel.
The Kulu fight was actually how it began, I was chasing it down the middle path in Wildspire Wastes and I just see this thing flying towards us and all I hear is boss music and confusion
try this out: you're in the wildspire waste casually trying to capture a barroth for some upgrade materials. you hear an unusual music build up and well crap its a freaking Deviljho! ok ok, you can more or less run from *B-52 music kicks in* OH FOR FK SAKE! yes this did happen to me and I don't remember how I survived other than I did.
@@afiqzamanhuri the power of offscreen laser. at least pre world if you paintball them you can see where there are to decide in advanced if you where paying attention T^T
I remember when mhw released. I pre-ordered it and played the entire thing. Me and all my friends reactions to beezle was always pure terror, mixed with excitement as we wanted his earplug armor soooo bad
I miss Bezel from world his AI was programmed to seek out the hunter on the map. Sadly they didn't program his AI to do the same in Rise. I know that makes him less annoying but that's what made him so memorable as an invader type monster.
Everything about Rise was adjusted with complaints from World, but without the compensation of wirebugs, so everything was overly nerfed while the Hunter was MASSIVELY buffed, leaving a lot of monsters presented as shells of their former selfs
@@Ezzekiel73 honestly if I have to decide only one Monster Hunter game to play forever and cannot play any others, it'd be world. the expeditions and the areas are breathtakingly fun and gorgeous respectively. the monsters feel and act like actual creatures not just in place bosses and I love that monsters will fight each other too and not just team up on the player 100% of the time. that and every monster is so much fun to fight, even insane ones like Deviljho and B52 Bomber.
@@ColetheFlame01 rise and sunbreak shouldve just been DLCs for world imo. I love swingin around on wirebugs and using the wirebug attacks (especially since im a Hammer/Bow main in just about all of the MH games ive played. The doggos were cool but underwhelming since Palicos were still far better utility wise and they brought back some of my favorite wyverns to fight and see in game. (I think Valstrix would look SICK with MHW's design). They literally couldve added the good stuff they put in Rise into MHW and been fine tbh
@@keanutaylor1110 huh I'm also a hammer/bow main myself actually haha. and I suppose the wirebugs would be fun in world but I feel it'd make exploration and travel way too easy and odd feeling for world's style but I hear ya.
He wasn't programmed to seek out players. He was programed to seek out monsters that roared more than 2 times I believe. Which a lot of monsters do when you fight them. So he'd always show up mid fight. But going around gathering stuff wasn't much of a problem.
To me i never had any trouble against griffons in dragons dogma since i use a magic archer class, the cockatrice on the other now that one is a bitch to kill
Never had trouble with griffons, even as a warrior. I just sigh and pull out my fire weapon again, they stay grounded longer when on fire. Bazelgeuse is more like Death in Bitterblack Isle, he likes to show up when you don't want him to 😂
i have nothing but love and respect for my boy he does nothing but help by bombing the monster i'm fighting saying nothing then just leaving to do it all again in a few minutes without killing me
@@cocobunitacobuni8738here's some advice, Bazel is attracted to regions via noise produced in said regions, it usually doesn't give a shit if you're quiet when it flies about but if you're fighting something and you know Bazel is on his way, try to make the monster you're fighting Bazels priority, see the mistake most people make is attacking Bazel as well or being very noticeable which will make him go for you, if you can make yourself scarce while Bazels on the way he will carpet bomb your once alive High Rank Monster, don't try fight Bazel if you're just entering High Rank, you are NOT winning, I know that sounds negative but even though it seems like his only powerful ability is his surprisingly good stealth, he infact, hits like a truck. In short, Bazel can be weaponised, just don't let him see ya when he pops in If you're fighting something and the fight is going in a...not favourable way, try bring the monster into the Line of Sight of a stronger monster, you could start a Turf War and do heavy damage to the monster you're trying to hunt, Like bring a Lavasioth to a Deviljho and watch the whooping, if there's a Deviljho about and you're not fighting it, try WEAPONISE HIM AGAINST YOUR FOES Third and Finally, if you want an easy path to the Iceborne DLC use the Guardian Armor (it's an early game armor that you get on Spawn for those who want to play the Iceborne DLC quickly rather than build yourself up from nothing, personally if you want to properly experience the game, don't use this, it takes out most of the challenge of early game that you'll only get back somewhat facing off with HR Monsters and only a few of em like HR Azure Rathalos) but don't openly SAY that you do because some people in the MH community view the armor as for well, babies.
@@delfinner2212 thanks for the tips. Can you still harvest a monster if Baz kills it? Can he even outright kill them? You are 100% right, Guardian Armor ruined MHW for me on my previous attempt. This time I crafted my own armor. I just killed Nergi for the first time with my Diablos feet legs and head, black diablos hands and ratha chest and Barroth Breaker III
@@cocobunitacobuni8738 Baz can't kill monsters, the only monster who is capable of killing another is Deviljho (in the code turf wars MUST end with the monsters above 1 HP but when Jho grabs and yeets something it is considered damage from Jho up until the moment the monster smacks against a wall, then Jho can kill something) Baz can't kill but he can do CHUNKY DAMAGE to whatever you need him to if you can guide him right and yes you can carve from something even if Baz fries it with a good old 500 dmg Carpet Bomb Also congrats on your new run, bit of advice, when you eventually get the opportunity to fight Deviljho, use him like you do Baz because that bastard will do the same shit for absolutely no reason, also if Baz and Jho are in the same area, I recommend just letting them go at each other, their Turf War ends in a trade so if you're hunting either one of them, the other is your best friend because from what I can recall you can just get a free 1k+ damage on whichever one you're fighting
Seething BG, raging BD, and furious RJ are the bane of my existence when I'm just trying to grind. Bros want the smoke even when I don't start the fire lolz
I remember my first high Rank in 4 Ultimate. "Man, Shagaru Mangala was tough as nails in the caravan missions, I wonder how those guild rank missions are." Instantly carted to a Great Jaggi. Granted, that was my very first Monster Hunter Experience.
First time i encountered him i didnt even get to hear the music. Im convinced its psychic because i was hiding around the corner in a shell or a big piece of coral or sumn tryinf to figure out wtf it was and he charged straight to where i was and rammed his head through me and my hiding spot. Needless to say neither of us made it 😂
As a light bowgun user, i welcomed the arrival of bazelgeuse. Safe attack ranges while bazel destroyed whatever monster i was hunting. Now, if it was a capture mission, bazel was a danger.
@Hatsune Rin cause it just keeps dive bombing, turning on a dime, dive bomb again, sweep you with tail, then flap outta swing range to let the poison work on you. Rinse, repeat
Never forget when that B-52 would fucking kill you in the camp. Did I mention it didn't matter you stayed in the damn tent, for the simple reason it just wouldn't care
most people pre-world said the samething about deviljo aka pickle (look at the cinimatic for his first appearance in tri ultimate. that was nightmare fuel back then)
Every hunt I go into in High Rank and Master Rank in MHW, a Bazelguese always shows up to Turf War the monster I'm hunting! It flat out IGNORES ME, and acts like I'm her baby! Bazzy is like giving anime mama bear kinda vibes! Like the anime housewife and mom who suddenly turns into something that would scare Goku into suicide to escape!
Ah man, i had a hard time with this one but now i enjoy fighting it! I especially like the sound effects of this creature. My favorite is when its pissed and charges forward and into the ground straight at you. Sounds like a high performance engine barreling towards you!
Honestly, that was similar to how it was when I hunted the odogoron, like every time I tried the same mission, a great Girros would pop out of nowhere and just start beefing with the odogoron like he was my back up and never attacked me😂
Ah yes, can't forget fighting Pink Rathian for 2 straight hours (I still haven't defeated him) and then Bazelgeuse and Odogoran just come to amplify the pain.
Me seeing a bazelgeuse for the first time, which then proceeds to pull a Hiroshima on me, then attack my corpse, then leaves: Im gonna turn you into a hat one day
That's the best part of Monster Hunter. Something so satisfying about getting your ass kicked by a monster only to leave after a few fights and craft them in to sick ass armor😂
