His wife, who is singing next to him, talked him into actually performing his own songs, although this is a cover. He has severe anxiety or sometimes known as “stage fright”. She looks at him all the time to comfort him when he’s performing. He’s amazing.

The stagefright thing is an internet myth. He never had it. He's quiet, a little shy & very humble but he sang in church & with The Steeldrivers for awhile before he even met Morgane. Since they've been together, he's sung many, many times without her. They have kids. Sometimes motherhood duties keep her away. He loves having her there. I'd swear sometimes he's kinda showing off for her but he isn't anxious or afraid..

He is not arrogant or cocky but humble when they have interviewed him. He and his beautiful wife, Morgan, have 5 kids. She sings beautiful too!! All their songs together you will notice she just cant take her eyes off of him & he looks at her with awe. He has other songs too, COLD,

Great reaction and a wise choice. Chris Stapleton is generally better live so pick his live performances over his studio versions whenever possible. The lady singing with him is his wife Morgane. She frequently performs with him and is an amazing singer in her own right. He didn't actually start out as a singer but limited himself to songwriting. He has written and co-written over 170 songs, among them six number-one country songs, earning him nine ASCAP Country awards, including the Vanguard Award. His songs have been recorded by some of music's biggest stars, including Adele, Brad Paisley, and Dierks Bentley. He has co-written songs with Vince Gill, Peter Frampton, Sheryl Crow, and Ed Sheeran, to name a few. He also wrote some songs for feature films, which are included on their respective soundtracks. In 2007, Chris Stapleton started as the frontman for the bluegrass band The SteelDrivers, which is how I first learned of him. In 2010, he started a Southern Rock band called The Jompson Brothers. In 2013 he started his solo career after being signed by Mercury Nashville. He surprisingly did not become an overnight success. However, He eventually did become well-known and has been unstoppable ever since. He has received numerous awards and nominations. He is the recipient of five Grammys, seven Academy of Country Music Awards, ten Country Music Association Awards, five Billboard Music Awards, two iHeartRadio Music Awards, and some others. I would recommend his live performances of Sometimes I Cry at the Binge Lounge, his Austin City Limits performance of I was Wrong, his impromptu cover of James Brown's It's A Man's World, his tribute performances to Prince and Aretha Franklin, any other live performance, as well as his music video "Fire Away". Hi there, I so enjoy watching reactors step out of their comfort zone and reacts to country music and pick the best of the Best to react to. That is Chris Stapleton, with his wife Morgane beside him. She is the mother of their 5 kids and a beautiful singer and songwriter also. He credits her with encourging him to take the leap from being a Very good and Amazing songwriter to performomg his own songs. I think he has written over 170 songs and many of them big hits for top country artists. Now he performs his own songs and they are amazing. While you are trying out new artists I would reccommend an acapella group called Home Free. They are 5 very talented singers that put out sone wonderful music, they do alot of covers and write some originals. Their harmonies are unbelievable with Amazing arrangements. They have such a varied huge number of videos here on YT it is hard to pick one to introduce you to their music, try "How Great Thou Art" and "Take Me Hime Country Road". MORGAN, his Wife, & He are both SONGWRITERS. It is said that Cris has a bit of stage fright & most of the time when Morgan is with him, he will look at her for comfort, not sure if thats true but he seems to be a really nice man. Great reaction. :) If you're going to react to more of his music, always do the live versions, with the exception of, "Fire Away," which has a video that underscores his message to bring awareness to mental health. Try, "I Was Wrong," live at Austin City Limits, there's a great guitar solo at the end. "Sometimes I Cry," live at Bing Lounge, "Death Row," "Watch You Burn" (a message to the Vegas shooter.) His wife is amazing and they have 5 kids together. I love their chemistry together. Go down the rabbit hole! ;) (He started as a writer ... he has over 170 song writing credits, with 6 number one songs for other artists. Yeah, he got all the musical talent!)

If you're still reading comments on this:- Its very interesting musically and personally. The women is his wife as background singer and then musically, its basically a waltz 3/4 but its only two chords AmJ and Bmin only which is extremely simple but very catchy. But what he does on guitar with only that two chords is so simple and beautiful same time..I highly recommend you to see Joe Bonamassa and Beth Hart live in Amsterdam ,with the old Aretha Franklin Blues song I'd rather go blind. Also an extremely simple 2 chord-song A mj and B min but so soulful , catchy and versatile peace by that two musicians, you bearst into tears. One of the 5 best live performances I ve ever seen. Check the out!!!!!
