I love the table!! You could always change out the legs of it to make it taller! And they make some really awesome kid chairs if the pillows end up getting too messy! Great job 👏

IKEA does a nice round table in black or wood that I think would look really nice! Think you need a proper table for the kids, so they can eat and play and do homework etc. also think a black coffee table would look nice and put the two armchairs together on the far side so it opens the room up
the table situation is so cute oscar, you’re always thinking about the kids and i know they’ll always remember how they all sat and ate dinner at dads house
And he should prop the pillows up against the wall when he has the table against the wall, rather than putting the pillows directly on the bench so you can see the beauty of the wood.
Don’t underestimate what you can do. You did a great job picking out things you needed for your apartment. It’s coming along very well and looking really good. As for the 2024 item your not going to have any problems with success.
Definitely use the coffee table in the living room and get the dinning table to match!!!!!! It looked great there and not too much at all. Large fake plants too!
I think he would just need to change the rug to a plain rug because the table has its design in order for it to balance everything making the tables stand out 😍
Seeing Oscar and Kyra’s different styles, it makes sense why the interior decor never really clicked in their homes together. Now seeing their separate decor choices, I love it!!

I think you need that big table and change the rug out for a more neutral plain one and then the coffee table will look great there!! And for chairs get some light wood ones like the stools and it will tie absolutely everything together. The coffe table is cute idea but I think it will only work for so long before you realize it's to small to be functional as a dining room table
The coffee table looked good in the living room. Definitely get the bigger table that you wanted it’ll look good for a dining table . Since the kids are getting bigger to it would be something y’all can grow into as a family .
Needs a tiny bit more stuff to make it feel warm and homie like a throw blanket some candles and a lamp and plant or something.I love watching Oscar get so hyped about getting his own stuff it makes me feel so happy for him.He is such an awesome dad and really deserves happiness.

You can stain the bar stools if you want them darker also the rugs nice but would have been so much better a we bit bigger :) your apartment is coming together nicely!!
I think the coffee table in the living room looked great and that matching dinning table will be a great finishing touch it will come in handy when you have guests over not just for yourself and your children, you’re doing an amazing job making that apartment into your home

To be honest I would get another one of the coffee tables and go back and get that table that matches and us the coffee tables as a bench u won't regret it because if u have friends or and yall eat there u will want a dining table

I loveeeee your style !!! Don't forget to add a few plants/greenery! And I have the same dinnerware for my family, I love it, but beware.....any kind of red sauce (like pasta sauce) will stain it! So wash it quickly after eating pasta or soups! 🥰🥰🥰
You should get a round table, you can get ones where the chairs fit perfectly under it when tucked in so they don't take up too much space. Ikea have some i'm pretty sure.

Oscar great choices except the coffee table. It belongs in the living room. You need a regular sized dinning table with chairs. The kids need a place to sit and eat comfortably. Also a place to color, do homework and relax. Other than that great haul! 💖🥰👍
My parents divorced when I was young, one of the biggest memories I have of that time was being in my dads new place, sitting on the ground around a coffee table in the kitchen eating. It’s definitely going to work out and they’ll remember it forever. ❤

IKEA has a beautiful dining table called MÖRBYLÅNGA. I’ve had my eye on it for years. They have a small and large version. I think it would look great in your space. Great job decorating!
When I was little I used the coffee table and sat on pillows for meals when I had a group of friends over for sleepovers, and it was so fun! The kids will love it!

Hi Oscar!! Just my opinion but I think the coffee table looks great in the living room! I do understand how you feel it would be too much dark brown tones but once you add pillows, possibly blue, beige, or yellow- I promise it will brighten up the space, and maybe a green plant behind the couch to bring back the greeny! I swear you have a good interior eye! I still love the dining room table idea, as I child, my cousins, brother and I always used the coffee table to eat breakfast and dinner 😅 mainly because it was mini sized for us so they'll definitely make memories! Regardless you're doing amazing! I'm so proud of you! And I just wanted to let you know, you're definitely a big inspiration for my 2023 goals ☺️

When you opened the tiny table. Im like no way he’s going to say that’ll be their dinning table. But once you sat there. I imagine all the kids gathered around you sitting on cushions and let me just say, Oscar, you are a great father. I can tell you always put the kids first

Love the coffee table as dining room table. I grew up with something similar. Not only do I think it's physically beneficial but great for bonding and sharing. Plus it's normal to eat sitting like this in many cultures. As your family grows I'd just get a bigger coffee table 😂

One most important thing I absolutely love is whatever you choose, decide or do is always revolved in thinking about the kids with EVERYTHING including the furniture! Although I absolutely love how you have your apartment set up the dark brown couches throws me off a little I think something a little lighter would look great but.. not to say I don’t love the vibe I absolutely do and a little reminder that your doing so well handling everything.
