First Time Hearing Angelina Jordan 🎵 Bohemian Rhapsody (Queen Cover) Reaction 

So a little back story... Angelina Jordan was born in Oslo, Norway.. She won NGT (Norways got talent) when she was 8 years old. She started the audition at 7 years old but won when she was 8 years old. I actually watched as most Norwegians did since i am from Norway.. She took Norway by storm with her voice. And now the world is seeing what we been seeing for years.. She won a a money price 500.000 NOK (wich is almost 60 k $) amd gave it all to charity.. She actually has a heart of gold. She is the youngest to ever publish a book in Norway. She published the book Mellom to hjerter when she was 9. In the book there is a story about how she was on vacation and she met a girl weighing people for money with one of those bathroom scales.. They started talking and became friends. Angelina noticed that the girl didn't have shoes on and had sores on feet. So Angelina gave the girls the shoes she was wearing.. And after that Angelina swore to never wear shoes wile singing until every child in the world had shoes. And niwshe honors this girl every time she is not wearing shoes... And she has kept her promise. She has been preforming bear foot every time she been on stage.. She has preformed with the Norwegian staff band of the Norwegian armed forces in Olso in November in oslo. Norway is a cold country... Trust me i live here... Lol. I wanna come with some more recommendations but honestly everything she does is amazing.. And im not just saying that she truly is amazing.. One song you really should check out is *i put a spell on you* (the black and white version. You see its black and white) she did this song 2 weeks after she turned 9 years old.. Olso this was not the whole clip.. Heidi actually gave her the golden buzzer... And she went straight to the semi finals (Or wherever it is they go when they get the golden buzzer).

Why Angelina always performs barefoot At age 6, while traveling in the Middle East with her mother and grandmother, Angelina noticed a girl around her age standing on the side of the road asking people to step on her bathroom scale to be weighed in hopes of getting some money. Angelina took off her shoes so as to not get the scale dirty and stepped on the scale many times to make the girl feel better. Angelina befriends the girl who was not wearing shoes and has scars on her feet, and learns she is an orphan. The orphan girl tells Angelina how beautiful she thinks her shoes are. Angelina says her shoes don’t fit her well and she wants to give her shoes to the orphan girl who thanks Angelina for giving her the shoes. Angelina asked the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and the girl replied, “I want to become a doctor, but that will never happen since I have no parents and I have siblings so I have to do whatever is necessary for us to survive.” Angelina told the girl to never give up on her dreams. The poor girl asked Angelina what she wanted to be when she grew up and Angelina replied that she wanted to sing for the whole world. The poor girl said she would pray every day so Angelina’s dream would come true. Angelina still says she thinks of that homeless girl every day and has always performed barefoot to remind her of all the children who are less fortunate. At age 9, she became the youngest published author in Norway’s history by writing a book about this encounter in the Middle East. Angelina at age 6 and 7 did record a few songs in a recording studio, most notably “I Who Have Nothing”, a truly remarkable performance for a 6 or 7 year old. Angelina is blessed with a deep voice with a beautiful rich tone and has always made her sound much older than her age. Many compare her voice to that of Amy Winehouse. Her voice is highly emotional which is very rare for a young girl and some people can’t accept that such a soulful voice can come from someone who has not had enough life experience. One vocal coach on RU-vid recently said, “If you have a song and want to have more emotion added to that song, have Angelina sing it.” At age 8, (please refer to replies by erik to a comment I made on JHTreacts video on 6/7/21 who provides proof Angelina had already turned 8) Angelina’s audition on NGT was a cover of Billie Holiday’s “Gloomy Sunday”, a song which was banned by a number of European countries during World War II because authorities worried the song would increase the suicide rate. Truly bizarre that this is the song to launch the career of a child musical prodigy. One of the judges on NGT cried. The next performance on NGT was her cover of Billie Holiday’s “I’m a Fool to Want You” singing acapella which was required by NGT unless the singer also played an instrument while singing. This was the Judge’s cut round of the competition and was not performed in front of an audience. In the Semi Final round of NGT, Angelina sang “Bang Bang” which was written by Sonny Bono and was first performed by his wife Cher but is best known sung by Nancy Sinatra. The improvement in each performance is incredible even though there were only a couple months between them. In the Finals, Angelina did a cover of George Gershwin’s, “Summertime” and won the contest, capturing 46% of the votes from the ten finalists. Angelina had become a star in her native Norway and her videos on RU-vid went viral. She gave a few concerts during the summer of 2014 while 8 years old. On June 27, 2018 Jordan performed “Fly Me to the Moon” for Quincy Jones in The O2 Arena in London. Angelina performed on America’s Got Talent The Champions which aired in January 2020. Her father is Swedish, her mother is Norwegian from a Japanese father and Iranian Mother Mery Zamani who is a poet and a painter and was a child prodigy in her own rights. She started singing at the age of one and a half when she fell in love with Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You”. A year later she discovered Jazz through her grandmother and showed lot of interest in artists like Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Dinah Washington, and Louis Armstrong. Angelina pestered her mother to enter her in “Simons Show” as she called it from the age of 3. Her mother relented and entered her in Norway Got Talent at the age of 7 where she auditioned with Billie Holiday’s Gloomy Sunday. She went ahead to win the the big prize at the finals where she received 46% of the votes while the remaining 9 finalists combined received 54%. Angelina said she likes singing because she wants to bring joy and love to the whole world. One of her dreams from a very young age was to sing at the Nobel Peace Prize concert. She accomplished that at the age of 8 singing Louis Armstrong’s What a Wonderful World. After winning NGT, she was flooded with offers from major music labels as well as Disney but they were all turned down by her and her family in order for her to continue her education and to protect her artistic integrity. She actually performed a Japanese song at a concert in Japan. Most of her performances after NGT were for charitable children organizations where she helped to raise millions. At the age of 6 and while travelling in another country with her family, she came across a young orphaned shoeless girl who was weighing people on a bathroom scale for some coins in order to support herself and her siblings. After chatting with her for a while and without prompting from her family, she gave her shoes to the orphan girl. She recorded that incident in her diary and vowed to always sing barefoot when doing that in public to remember that girl and to remind herself and us about the many needy children around the world. She is a musical savant. Her grandmother played her old school jazz (Billy Holiday, Dianna Washington, Ella Fitzgerald, etc.) from birth. She writes her own songs. She arranges the musical treatments for her performance (amongst grown men who aren't quite sure what to do with this child). She has an amazing voice with tons of color to it. She is 15 or 16 now and has signed a contract with Republic Records and lives in Los Angeles now. There are so many videos of singing but my favorites are Etta Jame's I'd Rather Go Blind, her own song Million Miles, It's a Man's World and of course, the one that blows every one's mind, I Put a Spell on You! I love your line about chewing on every note. That’s the gist of it for me. She took the soul of the song and magnified it. I’d be willing to bet that Freddie wanted to do it like this but it would have been too raw for the time, so he made it into a rock and roll hit. This is what he was feeling, in my opinion. Yes. She really was recorded singing at eighteen months of age. She was listening to Jazz while still in the womb. At two and three she was scrolling through RU-vid looking for Jazz artists to listen to. At four she is in school taking singing and music lessons in after school program. At three she tells her Mother she wants to sing for Simon Cowell after seeing talent show. At five she tells her Mother she wants to sing at the Noble Peace Prize Concert. She also tried to audition for Norway’s Got Talent but is told she is too young and must be seven. At six you find her in sound booth singing four songs. Rolling In The Deep, Hurt, Sky Fall and most notable I Who Have Nothing. At this age she is speaking Norwegian, Persian and English. As she recorded I Who Have Nothing she is reading the lyrics in English. She is playing piano, violin and flute. At six she travels to the Middle East where her legend begins. First Angelina was born and raised in Norway which is part of what used to be called Scandinavia. I do not know what they call it these days. From some of those man on the street shows, not much is being taught about geography. I've watched shows where the person being asked had been to the country they were being asked about and still could not tell the person where it was. Angelina is a musical genius. She hears music different from the rest of us. She will hear a song playing and it is already going through her Angelina-rator. and you get something beautiful and inventive. AJ is a musical genius who arranges the songs she sings since she was 7 at least. She learned singing with Jazz at a very young age and won NGT at 8 years old singing Jazz: "Gloomy Sunday" and "I'm a fool to want you" (a capella) by Billie Holiday, "Bang bang" and "Summertime". At 9 years old she made an incredible rendition to Screaming Jay Hawkins with her cover of "I put a spell on you" (B&W video). Now she is 15 years old. She also has put out more than 130 covers most of them making a better version of the song than the original.
