Billy Joel is a great singer songwriter & composer from the 70's-90's. He is one of the best-selling music artists of all time. The whole "Stranger" album is great. "Just The Way You Are" is my favorite song from that album. Other songs are "Movin' Out (Anthony's Song)", "Only The Good Die Young", "She's Always A Woman", "Scenes From An Italian Restaurant" etc.

This has always been my favorite Bill Joel song, "She's Always a Woman" is another great song. Saw him and Elton John on tour together in 1995 in Indianapolis, one of the best concerts I've been to.

I am lucky enough to have seen him live in the late 80s. Would love to see him again. He is amazing live. And unlike some others, he still has the pipes and sounds great!!!

I don’t want to call this a guilty pleasure but I love listening to you young men and women experiencing my music, lol for the first time. I graduated in 1979 so this is all the music from my high school days and it really was a great era for music. The live concerts were phenomenal and the people there were all in. I love Billy Joel. So many amazing songs with awesome lyrics. I missed some great concerts over the years because I was ridiculously broke back in the day. Number 1 was Queen in 1982. Number 2 was probably Journey with Steve Perry. Number 3 was Elton John/Billy Joel, and more recently, Foo Fighters when Taylor Hawkins was with them. That one was due to Covid, not $$. Special request: Can you react to "My Hero", live, from the Taylor Hawkins Tribute concert? His 16 year old son Shane plays drums, very emotional, great song you should hear anyway, and you can catch the Foos live all at the same time.

Hey Shon, I love Billy Joel he gives such fantastic concerts and his whole band are wonderful musicians. however, I'd like to suggest another band to give a listen, if interested. "Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers - Refugee" (by the channel: Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers) --This song is from their 1980 album called "Damn The Torpedoes" and the song peaked at No.#15 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles charts...in otherwards and absolute banger. Tom Petty was an American singer, songwriter and guitarist and in the course of his career he was the leader of the rock band "Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers" and "Mudcrutch" and also a member of the legendary supergroup "The Traveling Wilburys". He also had a very successful solo career. Throughout his career he has sold more than 80 million albums. He was also inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of fame in 2002. Joel is one of the top creative forces in pop music in my lifetime. He is one of the great songwriters of all time, and a performer with masterful skills and unfailing musical instincts. Like Van Morrison, he sings with absolute authority and comfort; no strain or stress anywhere. It's a great feeling listening to an artist at this level. Would you consider doing Van Morrison at some point? I think you might enjoy him.
