Andrea R. Bordón -wasn’t Richie married with Heather locklear ( the lady from Dallas or Dynasty ). Richie and Bon are great musicians and a song writers
Dude your smile is literally contagious. Before I even hit play I seen that big smile. Ladies must love you! I grew up with this long hair stuff in the 80s. I don't prefer it now but it does bring back a bit of nostalgia
I was (again) thinking the same. Jovaughn's joy is so pure that it's actually good for my soul to watch his videos with him discovering songs that I highly resonate with as well ❤️
@@robynhealy4535 I've been to JBJ Soul Kitchen in Redbank, NJ. It isn't a soup kitchen, it's really a restaurant where everyone sits together and you can eat there and pay what you can. If you can't pay, that's ok too. He is awesome!
Bon Jovi - Wanted Dead Or Alive (Official Music Video) ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITES ! Thanks for doing a Bon Jovi tune. Saw them in person in the 80's, and they put on the best live concerts (them, Pink Floyd, and Bob Seger all did back then
I was on my way to Bon Jovi when my friends and I were in a head in on. We never made it to say the least but we did all survive the accident. That is what you call living on a wing and a prayer . Still love the Man and his band . Thank you so much for playing this 😉
I am a 20 year who loves classic rock and old music which i have my dad to thank for. Growing up the likes of bon Jovi, guns n roses, acdc, iron maiden etc etc were constantly played in the car or around the house and still are. 😀
I took my daughter to a Bon Jovi concert a few years ago. We had nosebleed seats, and my daughter was saying, "It's ok Mom, I'm good here." I said no, we're going to SEE the band and make a memory! I ran to the ticket line, paid an extra $600 to get better seats. The ushers took me and my daughter all the way down to the front of the stage, and John was right in front of us! The smile and excitement on my daughter's face was worth that extra $600! Money comes and goes, but that memory will stay forever!
Saw them back in the 80s!Love them! You are opening the door to 80s hair metal/rock..this is an Awesome path!I was a rocker chick for sure during this time frame!lol
Jovaughn, happy you're having fun listening, to this music but you're really still at the start, there's loads of bands left for you to discover. And, yes these boys are pumping it out.
so glad you discovered Van Halen and Bon Jovi, loved the reactions. now you're ready for Def Leppard. I suggest going in order with two songs, Rock of Ages (1983) and Pour Some Sugar On Me (1987). the official vids are the best versions. in between those two songs their drummer lost his left arm when he wrecked his Corvette. the band went dark for a couple years while he recovered and he is still their drummer today (his legs do a lot of his drumming).
I still think this is one their best , can't praise it enough , I loved to dance to this , your turn Jay, go on you know you so want to , fantastic reaction keep it up 😉.
When I was in primary/grade school, all the boys listened to Bon Jovi and all the girls listened to NKOTB :) This was right around the revolution in 89 so it was all new and exciting. As I grew a little older I started to appreciate Bon Jovi and their music a lot more. Bed of Roses, It's my life and Blaze of Glory are one of my favorites as well.
Livin’ on a Prayer was released as a single in support of its parent album Slippery When Wet. The song and the album itself was released in 1986. Livin’ on a Prayer features guitar work from Richie Sambora and those sounds you’re hearing where it sounds like the guitar is saying, “wa, wa, wa,” the guitar is plugged into a talk box. The talk box was used by tons of people and songs. Joe Walsh used it for Rocky Mountain Way Bon Jovi used it for Livin’ on a Prayer and It’s My Life Peter Frampton was a frequent user of the talk box The Eagles used the talk box for a song called Those Shoes Earth, Wind and Fire used it for Let’s Groove.
This was when MTV was really the best and almost the only way for us to get to see what our music idols looked like and moved and sounded live! I would turn it on and dance around with them until the station went off late at night! They didn't stay on 24/7 back then. Bon Jovi was one of my first main crushes! After Elvis and The Beatles and Adam Cartwright on Bonanza! Oh the memories! Thanks for this so much! 🎶🤗🎧🎶👍
I remember how FUN a Bon Jovi concert was to go to!! SO upbeat and positive! I screamed and sang so much I'd lose my voice! Good times!! Evem wrote a little poem about it. I miss that. More More Bon Jovi please!? Prayer was a HUGE hit for them. It was everywhere! Thanks J! Take Care!✌❤🎶😁
One of my all time faves - also check out thir songs: Blaze of Glory, Always, Runaway, Bed of Roses, It's My Life, I'll be There For You - I could keep listing but i'll stop here!
Love love this song, it’s an absolute banger! If I ever went on X Factor (I wouldn’t), this’d be my audition song... I wouldn’t reach the high notes, but I’d belt it out regardless!
Love Bon Jovi and this song! He happens to be a good person, gives a lot to charities, still married to his high school sweetheart, good dad. An ace musician and a really good person! You did your A+ reaction!
I love this song and now I remember who sang it lol. They are a marvellous band and I remember my baby son rocking to this, he has an interest in different music now but for a few years he liked fast music he could rock to. The harmonies are good too and they could certainly play their instruments. When you smile I smile too and its wonderful just watching you. God bless you all, love and hugs and peace to you all Mary-Ellen UK
You are such an 80' s Rock kind of guy. Hahaha Hair Bands, baby!! IMAGINE being a teenager jamming the heck out of these tunes!! We were starving for it!! You should also check out the band Poison, too, if you haven't. ☺
Amazing reaction! I had forgotten this song from my teenage years. One of the best classic rock bands. Greetings from Austria. You made me smile, not an easy thing to do! Keep going.
Excellent break down of what your thoughts are regarding this song. You described his voice the feeling you got after listening to this classic song. This song has basically become an anthem. Anyone that appreciates rock knows the words to this song. Great reaction !
I think you just fell in love with what's called a "talk box" on guitar! Literally giving an instrument a voice. Guitarist Richie Sambora is a maestro!!
Glad you finally got to this classic. I knew you'll feel the beat with this one. Keep on rocking these 80s hits. It's fantastic that you have a great appreciation for the music of the 60s, 70s, and 80s.
@@Brisvegas420 Every popular subgenre gets played out. The worst one being disco which caused a "Demolition Night", yet people still revisit those songs to this day just like 80s glam rock. They're not played out yet for the younger generations.
Man, I just knew you were going to say I heard this line before as soon as the first sang Living On A Prayer. It's just one of those lines that is unforgettable. Great Reaction!
Keep doing what you're doing. I'm newly subscribed to your channel, but I have to say I find myself here on your page more than the others. Keep up the good work my man. You're a winner!
I remember walking on the Venice Beach Boardwalk and seeing Bon Jovi posters. Hair for days and the pose. He was a pin up boy for sure. But he could also play and sing. Great talent.
This song in the UK has been voted the best song of the 80’s many times over. The reason being it’s a timeless classic. Their song ‘Always’ and ‘Bed of roses’ were also massive hits in that decade, check them out. 80’s and 90’s had the best music - fact!
Oh lordy. I'm flashin back. Saw this flying show on a Friday, went back to arena on Saturday to get tix for Sunday. This time we got seats near where he landed. I had no voice for days!!😍😍 *YOU GIVE LOVE A BAD NAME *BAD MEDICINE
I absolutely love this song. A few years ago I actually got up in front of my church and sang it. You really should listen to anything by the band "Stryper". They were a fantastic rock/gospel band back in the day.
