I'm here if you want to talk hun.. I understand 😢. And if you get a chance listen to the song "To Be a Man" the (mega remix) by the independent artist Dax❤ it's a great one! But it started with the song by just Dax, then he did a remix with Darius Rucker and ppl all over the world started adding their own parts, so he picked a bunch, flew them out, if they could go, if not he recorded with them and put them in a tv in the video and it's absolutely incredible ❤❤❤ He has a lot of great stuff, like 'God's Eyes' etc etc

OMW your life sounds like what I have been through. I'm the last of my sibs and I'm the eldest and had to bury the love of my life and best friend of 28 years. We are still here and I don't know How or Why. Bless You !

The live performance of "Barely Alive" is a must. Recorded on someone's phone and his power still comes through and you find yourself physically clinching when he belts it out.

Chris is a collector of guitars particularly vintage, that guitar he brought 2nd hand over 20 years ago, it’s a 1950s Gibson that he’s written most of his songs on, he has over 170 recorded by other artists. It’s about the tone that you get with age and not about looking flashy

Things haven't been right in awhile...so this song gives me the feels. I am trying to get over a toxic guy who I FINALLY left in the past (where he belongs) but it's tough being alone. Been alone most of my life, have also a tough time making friends, no one checks on me and I only have my mom in my life who isn't really connected emotionally. Most days are tough but it is what it is. And yea, my brakes need fixed too so not having the money to fix them (and not able to work w/out a car) is bad also...but i enjoy your intro's...makes me feel a little better.

Great comments. Chris is amazing. Other songs (live version always best): Barely Alive - cover of It's a Man's World - I Was Wrong - Death Row - Either Way - Higher - Cold - North Dakota but there are so many many more songs out there (past and present) you should hear.... Also one serious song in video format is Fire Away.

This is a song called “Can You Run”, from when he was in a bluegrass band called the Steeldrivers. It’s actually from the perspective of an enslaved black man in the south, close to the northern border. So I probably shouldn't have left the other comment I did, but whatever. ..but you GOT TO DO Dax's mega remix of his song "To Be A Man" he brought in a lot of ppl that had added to the song and it came out Amazing!!!
