This song played every weeknight on my midnight drive home from work for at least 5 years. I remember hot summer nights with the car windows down singing at the top of my lungs to this song. No traffic, no cops on the road, no nobody, just me and Gregory Abbott making the long 45 minute drive home.

The Year 1955 was classified as the International Geophysical Year which lasted from July 1,1957 to December 31, 1958.This period of time refers to an international science project that was going on at the time. "Peg" is my favorite Steely Dan song my second favorite being "FM" from the movie of the same name that was released in 1977.
I am so glad that you let the song play and save your commentary for the end.So many RU-vidrs don't do that. It frustrates me when they do that because you are really getting into the song and all of sudden they pause the music or video. Its gotten to the point where as soon as they pause the video or music to make a commentary I stop watching the video and I don't subscribe.
