This was HYYH (hwa yang yeon hwa - The Most Beautiful Moment in Life) Epilogue tour, which they did in 2016. They toured with a live band, so that's why the details of the instruments are slightly different than on the studio version. I'm absolutely floored by House of Cards live, it's magnificent!
I love this song, it's one of my all time favorites of the vocal line. It was also the third song I listened to almost 4 years ago and solidly made me an ARMY!! It is so hauntingly beautiful. After I read the lyrics however I cried buckets because I could totally relate to the song at one time in my life. Losing someone you desperately don't want to lose is very hard and the analogy of it crumbling down like a "house of cards" is very real. But that was long ago, I can appreciate the song now for what it is, a beautiful piece of work!! Thanks for the reaction!
Yes, absolutely, a James Bond theme song (OST)!! This song is very intense, desperately sad, full of yearning and longing for something that’s ending, they almost sob the lyrics at times (such very young men, as they were when they recorded this song, should not understand deep heartbreak they way they seem to) - yet it’s also got such a sexy undercurrent too, somehow…😳🤷♂️😂💜💜 We used to say that Korean Army find HOC terribly sad and International Army find it very sexy - but when you understand it, it’s both…

I highly suggest BTS louder than bombs. The members were surprised to know that that song is the army’s most requested song for them to perform live. But the members said it’s too hard to perform live, they never did. The song is intensely haunting as hell.

They have so many different kinds of songs, that I am always surprised at how different some of their songs are. One of my favorites songs that they do, and sometimes at the end I actually get a little goosebumps on is Let Me Know off their Dark and Wild Album. It's the first album I brought of there's because of "Let Me Know", 24/7 which is fun and nice, and Blanket kick. It has other good songs on the album as well. :)

Several other favorites that I don't think have MVs, but I could be wrong are: Truth Untold, Still With You. So Far Away, Llights,, but at the top is Born Singer. There's more of the member's solo songs that I didn't list. My daughter teases me about liking the slow songs, but I'm a sentimental type and love those songs.

So many reactors have also mentioned how it reminds them of the theme to a James Bond movie, and I agree. I love this live version of House of Cards. The vocal line killed it. Not sure if you have checked out their Jimmy Fallon performances. This was during Covid and Jimmy had a week of BTS. They performed in Korea and televised it. I love Home. It's like it should be the official MV for that song. Also, love their BUTTER on the bridge and Idol in front of a palace performances. BTS live is always so good💜💜💜

I agree about this song being James Bond movie worthy. But I'm thinking BTS should just create & star in their own K-drama someday in the far future if they're not up to intense choreography anymore. Imagine the soundtrack! To me, this haunting, beautiful song always captures so well, that feeling when you realize that the situation you're in has deteriorated to the point that it's unstable & headed for collapse. Even though the lyrics are about a personal relationship, I think it also feels the same way when you're in any overwhelming life or emotional situation & you slowly come to realize it is not what you thought it was, or things have changed, but you're so entangled that you're hoping you're wrong. Then you start second-guessing yourself, praying that you're wrong & hoping that you can salvage something, but then there's just that slow-building dread that you just need to get out of it, & you know the only way out is that you're gonna have to go through some even more major shit before the end. Ask me how I know, lol!

You may be thinking of 50 Shades of Gray (versus James Bond). House of Cards and You Earned It by The Weekend have similar beats and rhythms. There are a ton of mashups on RU-vid.
If it's not on HYBE Labels or 1TheK (for older stuff) it's not an official MV. Some songs have special performance videos or other related content on the Bangtan TV channel, but anything else is not official. Respectful creators add an FMV at the end so you know right away it's not really from BTS, but others are not so up front
