This is one of my favourite songs by John. He is an Aussie legend not only for his singing but the man he is.

Great reaction. I think you missed John literally throwing his microphone stand to the front of him around 5.40. He then kicked it up into his hands at 6.00. We cannot afford to take our eyes of this legend, he is always doing tricks and interacting with his audience and band/backup singers. An amazingly tight family in music and friendship.

Age Of Reason is John’s second most successful song after You’re The Voice Age Of Reason was released in 1988 the same year John was named Australian Of The Year . Age Of Reason co written by Todd Hunter ( from New Zealand formed but Australia based band Dragon) and his wife Johanna Pigott making it the first Australian song to hit number 1 written by a Australian female songwriter. The song was written with John in mind to sing it after John asked Todd Hunter to write him a song .

The key board guy Davis he writes alot of the music to the songs Also when the used Melbourne symphony orchestra he had to work out hiw to combine all the instruments to work together The voice he had to change all the music to soot the bagpipes as they only play in one key so had to write all the instruments in that key Extremely talented musician Also if you want to her Lisa Edwards the back up singer she does duo with john on the song angel's Also the other female back up singer and husband do a duo with john and venetta fields singing amazing grace another powerful singer Your only starting the rabbit hole tons more to come Cheers mate 🦘🇦🇺👍

Possibly my favourite Johnny F song. One of the background singers was Vanette Fields who was a Motown singer.

There must be a video of Farnham singing the local bus timetable. Even that would be sensational.
