Es freut mich, dass jemand eine Reaktion zu Loïc vorgeschlagen hat. Er ist einer meiner Lieblingssänger. Er hat nicht nur eine Stimme, die sich von vielen anderen abhebt, er ist insgesamt einfach ein echter Künstler. Er hat in Frankreich "Danse avec les stars" vor ein paar Jahren gewonnen und seine damalige Durchschnittswertung ist nach wie vor die beste, die bei dieser Show je erzielt wurde. Er hat auch die Kostüme für das Kurzmusical "Candy" auf seinem Kanal selbst entworfen, ist also ein echtes Multitalent. Das Lied "Million Eyes" basiert, wie viele seiner Lieder, auf persönlichen Erfahrungen. Er war als Kind nicht wie die anderen Jungs am Fußballspielen interessiert, sondern am Tanzen. Außerdem hat er ein recht hohe (etwas mädchenhafte) Sprechstimme und wurde damals gemobbt, als schwul bezeichnet etc. Er sagt ein paar Wort zu dem Song auf Englisch in diesem Clip: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-j9xp0rcfla0.html Leider bekommen Reaktionen auf Loïc nicht viele Klicks, was sehr schade ist. Vielleicht hörst du dir zumindest privat ein wenig mehr von ihm an. Interessant, dass du Sia erwähnt hast, denn er ist ein großer Fan von ihr. Man hört das auch oft an der Art und Weise wie er singt, wenn er einzelne Wörter oder Vokale mehrfach bricht, wie Sia das auch macht. In der o.g. Tanzshow hat er auch "contemporary dancing" zu Sia's "Chandelier" gezeigt. Er hat diesen Song auch selbst gecovert. Wie jemand in den Kommentaren schon erwähnt hat, ging ein kurzer Clip von ihm viral. Das Video heißt "Boy singing chandelier by sia". Den gleichen Clip gibt es in besserer Qualität auf dem Kanal einer seiner guten Freundinnen unter dem Titel "Loïc Nottet - Chandelier piano". Sie hatte ihn mit dem Handy beim Proben gefilmt. Er hat das komplette Lied auch für die Belgische Radiostation "MNM - Music and More" live gesungen.

Loic has also some AMAZING songs where he sings in french! As I see several others have suggested, you should react to his song "mr mme (bruxelles)", which is super powerful and with very beutiful lyrics. The music video has english subtitles 😄

HI, I'd like to add something that maybe none of you can realize, but singing in English when it is not your ''native'' or ''mother'' tongue, is even more difficult. Loic is from the french part of Belgium and thus have a very poor education in English and very late if they get one. So to keep singing while trying to get the proper accent and emphasis is SOOO hard. BTW, today he just released his last album in full acoustic version. You'll be amazed I'm sure.

Definitely check out Mr/Mme, that would be an amazing one to analyse even if it was just for the lyrics alone!
