I think it's regional dear. While he's just breaking now into the US, Lucky is well-known & loved throughout Africa. The sound of Lucky Dube can be heard across African cities and countries. In any case, it's better to be late than never.

You absolutely MUST listen to his song WAR & CRIME from the Prisoner album.... I feel that song as strongly now as I did over 20 years ago the first time I heard it. I was lucky to have seen him around 1994 in Marysville, CA at the High Sierra World Music Festival. His entire body of work is great. Thanks for doing these reactionn!

1992 was the year I attended luc ky dube concert in Honolulu Hawaii. It was one of the best concerts I ever attended. The whole band members from the start of the concert to the end. I got hooked on his songs. RIP luc ky dube.

This is seven months late but I'm surprised that you chose Lucky Dube to react to. Not sure if you've listened to a lot of South African reggae, but he was outstanding in his music & the messages he delivered in said songs. He has had a lot of impact in our part of the world, before pop, rock and all other genres got through. What I'm saying basically is thank you for this reaction video.
