I love his songs. His concert here in Germany in 1980 live for all of Europe, is an absolute cult. The beginning of the concert with Natural Mystic is pure goose bumps. He died a year later.😢

Bob Marley had some great quotes, and song lyrics, here are a few of my favorite, I almost didn't post them because I recently read Rita Marley's book "No Woman No Cry, My Life With Bob Marley" And I had no idea about his infidelity in the years before he died. Rita remained with him, even still singing in the band while he had a model in London knocked up, often staying with her.. You know what they say, never meet your heroes, the quotes are still beautiful though. You would LOVE LOVE LOVE Rita's book, talk about a strong woman, after Bob's death, she opened a home in Kingston for orphans of war from Ethiopia and adopted 35 kids, helping another 200 find homes. "Could You Be Loved" also... you will love "Waiting in Vain", "Is This Love", and "Stir It Up" (you've probably heard them)... I would also love to see your reaction to "High Tide Or Low Tide" *One Love*

Everyone goes for his big hits but I love songs like this... I grew up playing reggae as a drummer and Marley still plays somewhere on my phone, stereo, car, all the time...Survival for me had the songs that really took him to next level.

Listen to the whole Legend album - start to finish. Then go get lost in all his albums. One of my fave songs is Trenchtown Rock. But, my absolute favorite is Redemption Song. I mean, India, you could listen to Marley all day, every day. Also, my cat (that I had to put down May 2018) was named Bob Marley. She was the sweetest, and I called her Marley. :0) I just watched your Buffalo Soldier reaction video and realized you do know and listen to Marley! Disregard my comment. Lol

The song like a lot of his music gets better as it comes along. The reggae is like a message.
