Actually you can meet and talk to the Sultan if you want to, because Perak's Sultan is known to be one of the most kindest Sultan in Malaysia. Just approach them kindly and ask the Police that you are visitors and you are glad to see them. Chances are higher for you to able speak with if you are doing so. By the way nice video. You seem to see having lots of funs here!

that man at the mosque gave you really great and detailed explanations. don't you just love Ipoh? it's just so laid back, different from the hustle and bustle of KL. and I live that they are making the effort to maintain alot if the old architectures.

largest mosque in Malaysia is Selangor state mosque. national mosque located in KL as well as Federal Territories mosque. Malaysia has 9 royal family and each will be nation's head of state every 5 year by rotation. current king of Malaysia is His Majesty KDYMM YDP Sultan Muhammad V House of Kelantan which is the 15th Agong of Malaysia. the current Sultan of Perak is His Royal Highness Sultan Nazrin Shah which is also Deputy Yang Di-Pertuan Agong. his wife is HRH Tuanku Zara Salim Davidson, Raja Permaisuri Perak

yeah! that's absolutely correct! One of the 9 royal family will be a King in 5 years of Malaysia.

Laa Mawjuud lol now you said it, it's kinda true, but generally a peaceful game though. FYI, before the formation of Malaysia as a country, the land consist of separate kingdoms but then got colonized by European powers. After world war 2 and the defeat of Japanese empire, the British empire agree to give independence to our country after a series of mass protest, surveys, consensus, etc. One of the agreements reached is that the sultans got to keep their positions as per the wish of the locals back then, and hence we have the constitutional monarchy and the rotational system.

The kaya was green in colour because there were juice of pandan leaves (screwpine leaves) added into the recipe as additional flavouring. The brown kaya is the original kaya. The green kaya is called pandan kaya. :)

so interesting, why non Muslims don't go to visit them?
@mreza5396
@mreza5396 7 лет назад
Lessilu there are non Muslim Malaysian who visit mosque, but not many, just minority and they didn't go to a small mosque. They use to visit big mosque like Masjid Negara, or any other big and signature mosque in Malaysia. Even Muslim Malaysian go to visit non Muslim temple or church but we only go to the signature temple such as the one at Batu Caves, Selangor. Simply say, both sides only visit each other signature mosque, temple or church, when they have religious celebration (to watch and learn each religions) and we only interested to visit religious places that have history. 😄

The charity / giving alms to the poor you mentioned is actually one of the 5 pillars of Islam just like the daily prayers and fasting in ramadan. In other words, it is obligated on all muslims. BTW, there are actually 9 (not 7) sultans, and every 5 years they make a secret ballot to appoint the next King of Malaysia. The Sultan of Perak (the one you saw) is a highly respected Oxford-educated academic. I've been watching your vlogs and I like them a lot :) Keep it up

James Wheeler Woodford Birch, commonly known as J. W. W. Birch (3 April 1826 - 2 November 1875) was a British colonial official who was assassinated in the Malay state of Perak in 1875. He was infamous due to his lack of respect to the local people, culture and our sultan.

Best vlog evvvahhh! haha perhaps bcse you were showing my hometown. Wished I was around so I could take you places to see and eat. The Sultan of Perak and his late father are the most educated royal figures in this country. The reigning Sultan holds a PhD from Harvard University and his Late father was one of the respected Judges in the Malaysian Judiciary system. He then later became the ruling Sultan after serving as the judge. The wife of the reigning Sultan was a chemical engineer, very beautiful and much loved by her subjects. We went to the same school together which was The Main Convent school which historical building you might have spotted along the way. Thank you for visiting my hometown and for vlogging. There are so much more to see n do. You must come again ok.

as for me, me and my family decided to stay for one night day because we do not want to rush to explore the city haha. okay, let me give you my whole itinerary while staying in Putrajaya. on the first day: -we check in to the Everly hotel , which is located just next to the shopping mall -then, we walk ( you can consider to take grabcar ) to have some famous and authentic malaysian foods as well as wonderful deserts in a traditional food court called 'TAMAN WARISAN' ! (you should consider to take a 'grab car apps' from the hotel to go there cuz it's hot!) and please eat Roti John and drink Coconut shake -then we ride a cruise which is located below the Putra mosque!THIS IS THE MUST . -then we went to Putrajaya wetland by using grabcar and enjoy our afternoon there with nature ! -then we take grabcar to the ''Taman Putra Perdana'' which is located inside the biggest roundabout in the world , and we did some walk and explore the garden -then we take grab car to have our dinner at the famous and modern food mall at Ayer@8 by the lake , please go to this restaurant that we tried (Slero d timur (for its mud crab maggie noodle)) and( Shell out (for its seafood)) . -then we WALK from the food mall Ayer@8 to the famous and gigantic bridge at night (Wawasan Bridge i think) , and from there we walk again to Putra Mosque and it is so beautiful at night! -then we head to the hotel second day : -we woke up in the morning , very early . after having breakfast, we take hotel taxi or grabcar to the Botanical Garden or the locals call it as 'taman Botani' .THIS GARDEN IS HUUGE AND FUN . -Then, we take grabcar or the bus to the 'masjid besi' or Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque ., and explore the mosque tour, and we walk from the mosque straight to the gigantic Palace of Justice ( which is a court).THIS IS THE MUST . -then we take the Hot air balloon for the view -then we went back to hotel and check out -We go to putrajaya central and book a bus to go to Malacca for RM10!

@azmanabas8425 7 лет назад
PotatoEskimos. Yes bro.The current Queen of Perak, Her father name is William Stanley Walker Davidson aka Salim Davidson, a British born Ipoh base lawyer. Her mother is a member of Kedah royal family. Not sure whether her father has any relation with the founder of Harley Davidson motorcycle company though.
@youtubemanipulatingcomment1489
To be precise it's Half Ashkenazi JEWISH half Malay. Davidson is a Jewish surname, meaning "son of David or Ben Dawid. That's why I always said White and Jews are the SAME breed. But when the white species screwed up they love blaming the Jews, when they are one and the same!!

PotatoEskimos. Jodoh pertemuan ditangan tuhan, kita hanya merancang tapi tuhan menentukan. Raja Nazrin pernah berkasih dengan seorang celebrity TV melayu antara yang paling cantik dan paling famous satu ketika dulu, tapi dah tadak jodoh nak buat camana. life must goes on.

PotatoEskimos. Ayo...Lain kali soalan tu biarla terang dan jelas, soalan hang tu seolah2 tanya takde puteri melayu yg cantik ka..yg raja nazrin ni pi kawin dgn kacukan mat salleh melayu???...sbb tu aku jawap cam tu. kalo hang tanya puteri yg cantik tu, aku tak tau la pulak, aku bukan paperazzi atau stalker kerabat diraja. Lagipun kerabat diraja malaysia ni media shy, banyak yg umum tak tahu. Tapi sbb aku org perak, aku tahu la sikit pasai kerabat diraja perak. Puteri sultan perak skrg memang kiut, umur 5 tahun, besaq nanti mesti cantik mcm mak dia. Raja Nazira Safiya nama dia, hang boleh google kat internet, dan juga 2 orang sepupu pompuan raja nazira, anak dara arwah Raja Ashman, abg kepada Raja Nazrin, dlm kategori kiut jugak, mak depa ialah pelakon Noraini Jane
