Hah! love those smiles and videos :) Keep putting those butts in seats! and, you didn't even show her AutoPilot and car driving itself down the highway... wish she would have been brave to try driving (chill mode?), and see how easy it is. That sold my wife on test drive... she liked it, and she thinks of cars as "appliances" and doesn't care/doesn't want perf, but LIKED it. One of the most impressive things to me re the Tesla, besides all the tech of course and performance, is how smoothly and sensitively they integrate and provide that power (and the regen braking) to the driver. If you stomp it, it LAUNCHES. Soul-snatching whip-snap-back acceleration. If you take foot fully up/off, it regen brakes fairly hard. but, if you use fine, gentle control (almost by subconscious thought, or just pressure not movement)... it responds, just as smoothly and sensitively as you can be. I actually drive SMOOTHER in this car, than my previous ICE cars, despite the huge acceleration... and it responds faster, too. (Even AP braking is smoother than I can do, just about!) Slow speed, fast speed, down curvy hills w/ regen "stick-shift engine braking" fun, doesn't matter- it has very tight driver control and sensitivity. I haven't driven a BMW, but I imagine they are green with envy :) and the other complement to the clean refreshing & relaxing interior, is... the silence, and lack of vibration, especially at stoplights. It's almost zen. Nothing to distract you inside, visual, or audio/vibration in your butt from the engine.. just peace. Who woulda thunk, relaxing at a red light :) World rocked!

Cmon dudes! Regenerative braking in Tesla is stepless, just don't let the buzz pedal off completely! Teach it the right way!

By the way the regen braking isn’t what stops the car, it uses regen as much as possible then blends in brakes to come to a complete stop

Brother, did you get the $2K acceleration boost? After about 50mph it accelerates like a performance variant. I hear lots of people say it's worth it and shaves 0.5 sec off your 0-60.

2/3 of the people I offered to drive my tsla were also too scared to drive it.
