Today we took the ol XJ project up too a local trail to give it a spin and see what she could do. Was a ton of fun and surprisingly didn't break anything with the exception of a bent bumper!

love those XJs. i used to wheel all over PA, I miss it just dont have the time. After seeing this video it brought back so many good memories. This year for sure gettin in them woods

one thing that helps with manuals off road is to have a hand throttle! I have the TeraFlex hand throttle kit on my jeep and its great, you just set it to hold the throttle where you want and worry about clutch and brakes

Great way to get one more trail closed is by off trail playing around. Colorado was more fun back before everything was closed. few trails lets to wheel compared to what we had 20 years ago.

HA That wrangler rubicon is literally 40k plus over your XJ. I'm amazed at how reliable my 97 is still. Perfect era of modern fuel injection and simple electronics.
