@@djpickle68 you're looking at statistics and forgetting about the laws and policies etc. That 7% difference is a lot more massive when you realize what you can do in florida that you can't do in colorado and the fact colorado has been doing things that will turn it into another california and everyone that can is fleeing california.

I have a 70 3/4 ton camper special. Went 15 secound 1/4 mile with ho 305 heads and the big edelbrock cam in the 350 with the old granny geard manual trans till it split the crank. Built 10.75-1 454 with a little comp 4x4 cam and went 14 flat in the 1/4 with a stock th400. I had lots of fun dragging 2v 4.6 mustangs for years with that setup. It was comical because it was a rusty old farm truck just laying waste to to amarillo mustangs. Even made a little money at job sights racing other contractors new diesel work trucks

I feel the same way about Louisiana. The things I like to do in life are so limited around here it’s ridiculous. It seems like the only things around here is night life and partying and shit witch is fun sometimes but just not what I truly love witch is race cars and riding dirt bikes and hunting and what not. Maybe it’s just where I live in Louisiana but I’m so ready to gtf outa here it’s unreal. Just kinda hard to pick up and leave when all my family and my wife’s family is here and we have 2 kids and house and everything. I’m in central Louisiana and there is miles and miles and miles of places to ride dirt bikes, ATVs, etc. I also have the best freshwater lake in the nation about 35m away. You sound like you live around the NOLA area. I grew up there and yes, if you don’t party or drink, there isn’t much to do. There is also about 100k acres of Kisatchie forrest to hunt here.

I've been there man. Grew up in WY just north of you. Sold all my race car junk when I was 21, moved to North Carolina not knowing a soul there, lol to get a job in NASCAR! It was a struggle but ending up working at Joe Gibbs Racing for a few years and decided full time NASCAR was not for me. I now have my own turbo kit company and dyno shop in Oregon and life is pretty good!

Left Colorado in 2015. Loved it there, but amendment 64 opened the floodgates. Now Denver and Boulder have become miniature Californias...the entire state is conservative except for the major metro areas and they control everything. I've gone back to visit a couple of times, and every time I'm there I'm reminded of why I left. Its a gorgeous state being run into the ground...truly a sad thing to see. Good luck in FLA, my dad lives in St. Pete. Too humid for me but I love visiting.

@@shawnwalden2669 I also was in Utah for a stint😂 it’s beautiful when the air quality is good. Little cottonwood canyon was my favorite place to hike once the run off settled down. My kiddos still live in Utah too up north
