Always happy to see new managers entering this wild Inferno for the first time! Don't worry if you don't understand _everything_ right away, I'll admit the tutorial in this game could really be improved. Just try to treat these easy early-game encounters as a learning experience, figuring out the game's mechanics, and the general playstyle of all the Sinner Identities you have so far!
Little note: Dante is their own character, the game makes it pretty clear that they’re not meant to be a self-insert, and the real reason PM gave them amnesia is for narrative and exposition purposes.
I came to the comments after hearing someone in chat said that LOL, my biggest pet peeve in gaming is when ppl mistake main characters for self inserts T_T Dante is their own character and I love them so much
1) You want to pay a lot more attention to Gregor, since the character he's based on, Gregor Samsa, comes from "Metamorphosis" written by Franz Kafka. Therefore, you should look at Star Rail with anticipation of a certain... Ungeziefer (hideous vermin). 2) Don Quixote's lance is engraved with words "Sueno imposible", meaning "the impossible dream". "Impossible" can mean "unreal". She's based on the Spanish work, too, so there's a lot more connections to UD than you think. 3) Even if you would've missed T H E G R I P , Limbus Company has a built-in function to reroll your account. Rerolling is MILES easier than other gachas, this alone makes this game more FtP-friendly than vast majority of others.
2:18:02 Well there goes his luck for Star Rail. He literally got THE META character herself! Glad to see you give this a try and although I can't pick this game up bcuz of the lack of time I have to play too many gachas, You'll definitely love and enjoy this game. The plot is amazing and the gameplay is pretty fun so I hope you enjoy it as you play along
For any new Limbus people that haven't played the previous 2 games(Lob Corp and Ruina), please do, and if you finish them you should play some of the mods that the people made :)
Well, mods might be a bit too much, i'm saying this as a person who knows all about it and even made my own mods for LoR. But playing at least Library of Ruina until the end is very important. Not everyone is gonna accept every kind of content that exists, because most people are like that.
Guys i know you're all excited that limbussy is getting attraction but dont pressure the youtuber with information that he can learn while playing the game
Useful tip: click on your stamina (Enkephalin) and turn some of it into "Modules". Modules will be more useful than stamina anyways (you use stamina only for story, Modules for everything else) and you never want to have your stamina capped out, when you can easily change it into Modules. (You restore 10 stamina per hour) Another tip for combat: despite what the tutorial implied, matching the colors of the characters' skills (to proc "resonance") is mostly useless, you shouldn't let that guide your choices about which skills to use in combat.
Will keep an eye on your playthrough for sure, this isn't your typical mobile game and a lot of details will become obvious with time, this is whats is happening where there is a lot of passion behind a project...
About lunacy. There are FREE lunacy which you get by playing and you need 130 per pull. And there's PAID lunacy, which is bought only for real money, you need 13 for 1 pull a day per banner.
Man, i do feel that the content warning does push a lot of people away from this game, including mature people. Of course, that's what it should do, but the problem is that if you don't even saw the game itself it's hard to imagine how bad it really is. Although it does have all of this mentioned content, it is presented in such form that when you see it, it turns out the warning gives more worries than the game itself. Well, you could clearly see how carefully he was preparing at the beginning of the stream. As if he was about to play something like "Until Dawn".
Also, you can friend other people on the game through those id codes. People can make their own companies that they can share for their friends to use. It's a big time saver if you don't want to spend too much time leveling up your sinners for the later missions
