As for "Fate/stay night 2006", it is the first installment of the "Fate/stay night" series, telling the story of the first route, which is the Saber route. However, due to its adapted plot and animation style not being as refined as the later anime that aired after it (like "Fate Zero"), hardly anyone mentions or recommends it. By the way, the plot of "Lord El-Melloi II Case Files" continues the timeline of "Fate Zero", but has almost no connection to the story of "Fate/Stay Night".Characters from "Fate/Stay Night" will also not appear in "Lord El-Melloi II Case Files". If you want to watch "Fate/Grand Order" series, watch "Fate/Grand Order -First Order-" first, then watch "Fate/Grand Order: Camelot", and then watch "Fate/Grand Order - FINAL Singularity: The Grand Temple of Time Solomon" or "Fate/Grand Order: Babylonia", otherwise you will be spoiled. As for the plot of "Fate/Grand Order: Moonlight/Lostroom", it takes place after the story of "Fate/Grand Order - FINAL Singularity: The Grand Temple of Time Solomon". "Fate/Grand Order You’ve Lost Ritsuka Fujimaru" is a funny animated series of the "Fate/Grand Order" series, with many humorous elements related to the "Fate/Grand Order" series, very interesting.Although characters from the "Fate/Grand Order You’ve Lost Ritsuka Fujimaru" series appear, the plot is light-hearted and in a daily style, unrelated to the main plot of the "Fate/Grand Order" series. You can see your favorite characters in advance through "Fate/Grand Order You’ve Lost Ritsuka Fujimaru", or see them in leisurely interactions outside of battles.(However, if you haven't seen any part of the "Fate/Grand Order" series, it may not be as funny.)
I mean, the funniest thing about calling her Jean, is that Jeanne (not Jean) has the same face has Saber... Just, uh, don't worry about it. It's Fate, it's weird.
Actually, Saber Alter vs Rider came out before the Entertainment District Arc in Demon Slayer. And the fact that few, if there is one, that rivals its animation up to this day tells how insanely well done that fight scene was.
5:15 Lancer is not actually got his heart ripped out Assassin's Noble Phantasm "Zabaniya - Delusional Heartbeat" create a copy of opponent's heart, and everything happens to it will also happen to real one. All he needs is a single touch to the enemy's chest. Dangerous as this NP is, it's also really easy to counter. That's why he need to lure Lancer to the lake, where the Mysterious Shadow lies
Noble Phantasms are their greatest feats or one that represent the Servants himself/herself example Saber or known as Arthur Pendragon, her Noble Phantasm is Excalibur, the Holy Sword of Victory
@@CrypticBossNot all Noble Phantasms are ultimate attacks, some work with passive effects, some are ritual based powers, some are weapons, some transports the user and enemies to pocket dimensions. Servants can have more than one Noble Phantasms and can be unable to use one when in another class.
@@CrypticBossFor example, Artoria Pendragon (Saber from F/SN) has Excalibur (the sword than can shoot beams), Invisible air (what makes her sword invisible) and Avalon, (an scabbard that protects her from damage and heals her, she has to get the thing physically because it was stolen during her lifetime)
A servant can be summoned with other classes and stages of life, Artoria can be a Saber, a Rider, a Lancer and a Ruler. With different classes come different skills and Noble Phantasms.
5:45 That Lancer is a different person to the one who fought Assassin Saber, Lancer, Archer, Assassin, Beserker, Caster and Rider are just classes. Where characters from mythology, history and literature are summoned in to so a saber is not always the same character for exaple Julius Caesar and King Arthur are both Sabers. They fight for a master aka a mage that summoned them. To get the holy grail that can grant eny wish. At least that is the case in the main Fate timeline. Some if not most of the Fate shows break these rules tho.
@@CrypticBoss in holy grail wars masters use their class names to refer them because if an enemy know their servant identity the could know how to beat them, for example if achilles in there and someone knows who he is they could beat him by struck him in the heel
@@NazarusGG They don't even have to know before, because the Grail gives them all the intel on all things we know as human kind in that period of time. So getting you name doxxed as a servant can be a deathsentence in most cases
You got style! Looking fresh and recording right after a wedding just for us is dedication. You deserve more subs and have been the most consistent content creator I have found
@scares3859 prisma illya is not good. Deen is passable cuz the music is beautiful and the ending was great. But prisma illya is a no no, even when it got "serious" it was just awful. The whole show is a turn off. This is my opinion so
9:56 to give you context about that, the Berserker has 9 lives(in the screen there are slashes behind the Berserker) 8 slashes, which means MC(red haired named Shirou) killed all 8 lives in a matter of milliseconds.
No Actually. Berserker had 1 life left in his blinded form and also lost the damage nullification of God Hand with his skin being ripped off. So it just shows how broken Herc is that even then it needed Shirou to use Nine Lives to kill him to stop dying. Also Shirou could only do 8 Nine Lives slashes and has to do the last manually without the skill/NP/ability.
@@Luxius.Actually the Ability is skill based and Heracules can do it with any weapon and do a 100 strikes. His Favorite form is with a Bow because Archer is his best class as well. With a bow its called Shooting Hundred Heads. This signifies his defeat of the Great Hydra with its hundred heads.
Well if you want to start, nothing is ever beating the OG Fate/Stay Night Visual Novel (AKA The FIRST Fate Ever) The Visual Novel tells the original Fate/Stay Night story in the best way possible to the point that the Ufotable Adaptations are considered a bit divisive for older fans. The VN is also currently the only way to get 100% of the story as the first route(Stay Night has 3 in total) never got a proper adaptation so you won't get to see Saber's character arc and the foundation of the story which could lead to some confusion. BUT... If you still choose to not read it(which a lot of people do so it's ok) then the anime watch order I recommend is... - Fate Zero (The Prequel to Fate/Stay Night) (Written by another dope author) - Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Bladeworks (The 2nd route) - Fate/Stay Night Heavens Feel Movies (The 3rd route) - Fate/Hollow Ataraxia (The sequel to Fate Stay Night) (Just kidding this doesn't have an anime either 💀) But jokes aside these are the foundations for everything in Fate. Everything else you see like Fate/Extra, Fate/Grand Order, etc. is bonus stuff if you want to see them but these foundational stuff is required first before anything else. Watch order for the bonus stuff doesn't matter, they are pretty self-contained so check out whatever you want to, besides some that are meant to be sequels, but a quick google check will tell you straight away
If you like visual novels or ever wanted to try reading one, the Fate/Stay Night visual novel is undoubtedly the best place to start, it's where this whole series got its start.
Great reaction bro. More ppl getting into nasuverse is always good. Can I recommend checking out top 20 fate fights by mark? The fate stay night visual novel is by far best place to start. But if you don't like visual novels it's more complicated since none of the anime adaptions are the best place to start. You could probably still find enjoyment out of the anime adaptions but will miss a lot of plot and characters which are critical to understanding what the messages and themes are of the story compared to the vn. And to make matters worse a lot of people start with fate zero which is kind of a prequel meant to be consumed after fate stay night. Any way you decide to go tho bro I'm looking forward to seeing your content on it
@@CrypticBoss the problem is that most casual anime fans got into fate from the fate zero anime adaption around 2011 or so and then the second unlimited blade works adaption came out in 2014 ,which ufotable kind of fashioned as a semi sequel to their adaption of zero (which was originally a light novel that came out in 2005) since it was in effect their second fate series and fate route had already been done by deen. So even if it was a flawed order people still recommended it. So just for simplicity sake and because that was the pipeline they got in from zero to ubw has become the main way newcomers are advised to get into the story, if they don't want to read the FSN vn. But that pipeline has huge asterisks with how the content is consumed and understood, not to mention outside of the great production values ufotable also failed to do the fsn anime adaptions justice in critical ways. So people get into arguments about the order splitting vn fans from fans who never read the vn, never plan to and are directing other anime fans to fate just as a cool anime and not a serious introduction to the nasuverse. Since the Deen studio anime (the fate route one in 2006 and ubw in 2010) were not as flashy production wise and had severe adaption issues(2006 by not adapting core parts of the route to explain motivations of the characters and ubw 2010 for trying to cram a 15 to 20 hours of visual novel story into 1 hour and 30 minutes lmao) no one recommends them. But I got into fate through the 2006 Deen fate route anime when it first came out(damn I was in high school at the time) and there were no fate anime out besides that. I still have sentimental memories and strong nostalgia for the Deen adaptions but they are not substitutes for the vn in any scenario. Well the ufotable anime aren't either. In short, if your seriously committed to getting into the nasuverse proper and understanding the characters and lore, read the vn. If you just want to watch a cool anime, you can pretty much start with any fate anime you want. Just know you are going in only seeing an imperfect and partial telling of fate itself and may or may not understand or grasp things as they are meant to be grasped. if there is one thing I can say about the nasuverse is that it rewards commitment. if you seriously get into it you will be here for decades that's how much content there is. Consuming just what is currently there of Fate, tsukihime, Kara no kyoukai and mahou tsukai no yoru will keep you occupied for 10 years atleast, in most cases it's longer 😅 it's become more like star wars or superhero comics where characters like Spiderman come in different forms every so often and everyone knows what they are and that you can enjoy it in different ways every time. Probably the most unique anime franchise to exist next to like Gundam, although even Gundam isn't as full of variety. 😅 If your not interested in being a fan of the nasuverse then checking out
Hell yeah! Lancer is the best! Also, the Noble Phantasm thing the guy was saying in the video is kind of like the character's ultimate move or special attack. For example the big laser from the sword or the cool red spear from Lancer. Edit: Just saw you made a video on the NPs ^^". Anyways, great channel! I'll sub!
great reaction btw when you decide to react to FGO Noble Phantasms, most if not all of them either have the identities of the characters only written in Japanese or they are written in the title for the video and not shown on the video itself. so whenever people react to them they don't really understand what's happening since they don't read the name of the servants because they don't want to pause the video but it would actually be a LOT helpful to know who these characters are because their noble phantasms would make more sense if you know who they are. so yeah if you want to pause and read who the characters' names are it's fine. FGO players won't mind since we've seen them already anyway. as an FGO player myself I'm actually more interested in how people react to or what their opinions are on how these noble phantasms are portrayed especially when the person who reacts recognizes the character even if they don't watch Fate or play FGO :3
Did this guy asked the worst question in Fate fandom? "Where do I start?" = War It's very hard to start watching Fate stuff, you need to be a full on anime fan a.k.a. "nerd" to understand Fate stuff. The lore is as deep as Marvel Comics.
Every character is named after their class, as you might have noticed. That's because the name of a hero doesn't only convey the feats they achieved in life, but also gives us a hint about their weakness as well. For example if you fight against someone who tells you right away that he is Achilles, we can easily guess what his weakspot is going to be, and thus opens a path on how we can beat him. That's why Saber had her sword hidden within magic because her sword is so well known that it reveals who she is, even if she does not announce its name. It is the most well known sword in the world I guess. It is preferable if the enemy does not know which heroic spirit they are dealing with. The Noble Phantasms are alike in this regard because they are feats so well known, that they also tell us who we are dealing with. A Noble Phantasm can only be activated by revealing their name, which makes it kind of a double edged sword - you either use it to utterly annihilate your opponent or your opponend gains knowledge about who you are and how they might be able to best you. In regards to the watch order I personally prefer to recommend starting with the mainline series (Fate/Stay Night) before indulding in sub series, but would recommend to skip the Deen Adaption. Therefore the best start you can get is with Fate/Zero, the prequel story to the Fate/Stay Night story. Fate/Zero is a good start, because it explains about everything you need to know about Holy Grail Wars, Servants, Masters, Command Spells and the like, which is kind of assumed common knowledge in later series. After Zero you'd go on to watch Fate/Stay Night - Unlimited Blade Works and conclude the mainline series with the 3 movies of Fate/Stay Night - Heavens Feel. I really hope that you are going to enjoy the show. It's really a fine piece of media with many interesting ideas and stories told. If your sanity might hit rock bottom and you decide to give the Fate/Grand Order game a chance - first of all: "That's hell you are walking into", but at the same time the game also delivers stories akin to the series, especially Camelot, Babylonia and I guess my alltime favorite Lostbelt 6 - Avalon le Fae. But you should only do that if you really like the Fate franchise as a whole and have much time at hand, because this is going to consume a lot of it. And I mean A LOT.
@@CrypticBoss The main problem with Fate is that there are many systems at play, which is why many anime series kind of overwhelm the user with information. But if you prevail through this the reward is going to be so, so sweet. But it's definitly something you have to be aware of and I won't defend the series for it - it's not something everyone likes :D
To start with Fate, I would start with Fate Zero which is the prequel Story, followed by Fate Unlimited Bladeworks and then the Fate Heavens Feel Movies, which is another Timeline following on the prequel, with heavens feel holding back a lot at explaining things, so it helps to know the others before watching the movies. The old Fate Stay Night anime tells another timeline story, but it's old, if you get really into it, you can watch it too and then there is the rest of the Fate Media to consume and a lot more media if you want to know what else besides fate happens in this universe. Like Kara no Kyoukai, which has nearly nothing to do with Fate, besides playing in the same universe and an referance to an kara no kyoukai character in the heaven feel story.
I think you would love the video "The essentials of Fate series" i think is the second version that has all the subtitles and names. You should really check it out
You really should watch the full fights, you'd be drooling(yeah you missed a lot of shit on the animations) also: Fate/Zero --> Fate/Unlimited Blade Works --> Fate/ Heaven's Feel(3rd part came out 2020) Fate/Grand Order --> Fate/Grand Order: Wandering Knight --> Fate/Grand Order: 7th Singularity Grand Temple of Time Fate/EXTRA --> Fate/Apocrypha
Leave Extra out its just not meant for people who havent played the game and Apoc can pretty much be watch when ever after the main series. (Ending in The Heaven's feel moves.)
The twin speared lancers power is that the red long lance can bypass any armor (hence why saber removed her armor) while the yellow short lance inflicts cursed injuries that can´t be healed. Before the battle they are wrapped in cloth that conseal and seal their powers.
People make the watch order way more complicated than it actually is. Actual order is Fate/Zero -> ufotable's UBW -> Heaven's feel movies -> whatever the fuck you want after those
Fate is the go-to animation standard, even today. animated by the same people who do Demon slayer (for the most part) (Some Fates are not), this series is the best for straight fights. Crazy choreography, animation and OSts.
Before you get spoiled by the comment section you should just go check out the show for yourself! In terms of where to start, people tend to have disagreements about it. I suggest doing: 1. Fate/Stay Night (2006) 2. Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works 3. Fate/Stay Night Heaven's Feel Movie Trilogy 4. Fate/Zero Others say starting with Fate/Zero is better but it's up to you.
Wao, rare to see someone recc Deen/Stay Night. But for F/SN Unlimited Blade Works, you gotta be a little more specific and say to watch the anime series, since in 2010 Deen also made the UBW Movie, which is kind of condensed compared to the 26 episodes from the 2014 series.
@@BloodTrinity Thanks for correcting me on that I totally forgot that the movie existed too. But yeah I mean even if it wasn't a great adaptation I think it was still worth watching even just to get more out of the story, and I was originally a Saber fan so that route was special to me personally.
In regards to the question of where to start, i'd ask which do you think is better for a new fan watching Star Wars, Original Trilogy or Prequel Trilogy. If the Original Trilogy, then start with 2006 Fate Stay Night, its older and definitely doesnt look as good but it lays a lot of the universe's basic foundations down for you with a basic understanding of nearly all the characters. If the Prequel Trilogy, then start with Fate Zero, far better visuals but it can leave some confused early on due to a lot of exposition and terminology you may not fully grasp because you are new to the universe (whereas if you saw the FSN, it comes off as expanding upon what youve already learned). There are people who cry about 2006 spoiling stuff, there are a few big spoilers and a bunch of hints at spoilers, but for someone new to the frachise, you wouldnt know they are spoilers. Zero actually does the exact same because it is a Prequel (so it was written after the original VN) and needs to include setups for some story elements that show up in FateStayNight, Unlimited Blade Works and Heaven's Feel. Personally, i would suggest watching in chonological release order (FSN, FZ, UBW, HF) this is primarily because of how the most significant spoilers are handled, Character Identities and Noble Phantasms, its like the first time Sasuke pulls out his Chidorii compared to every other time after, it just hits different.
You should defo check out some fights in UBW and fate zero, this top 10 didnt include some of the other amazing fights and mostly just included fate heavens feel (I mean i guess since its newer)
I know you said you'd look into it ypurself but if you want the order to watch them in, here: Fate/Zero and Fate/Zero season 2 should always come first, and thats pretty much the only must in it, the rest can kind of be watched in any order you like, as the main series has sort of alternate endings split between 3 different shows. the most common order is 1. Fate/Stay night. This one is on the older side compared to the others so if youre looking for that crazy animation you wont find it here, but its still very good and worth watching. 2. Fate/Stay night Unlimited Blade works. 3. Fate/Stay night Heavens feel. Theres also a bunch of spinoffs and side storys, the majn one id reccomend watching out of any of them is Fate/Apocrypha.
Gigguk: you can ask me anything about fate You: Where do i start? Gigguk: except that question A bit of info though. The 2 main series are Fate/ Zero and Fate Stay/ Night Fate zero is the prequel to Fate stay night so you can start there. Starting on fate stay night unlimited bladeworks works fine too. Personally, i reccomend fate stay night unlimited bladeworks
You could start the stories from the game Fate Grand Order if you want to follow the update of servants (cause, it's good to know the adventure stories), but if you want to look at some introductions of backgrounds maybe you can start with Fate Zero I guess for a bit of animation.
My favorite fate series are: fate apocrypha (for the servants and some fights), and Fate stay night unlimited blade works (its just an allrounder in greatness) And if you want to go deep in trauma hole: fate stay night heavens feel (the 3 movies are as far as i remember the darkest fate ever went)
urk... when saber alter just laid there and said shirou TT. Ufotable may be known for demon slayer currently... but people do love to forget their magnum opus of an anime
cryptic pulling out banger after banger these few weeks ong 🗣🔥🔥🔥. But hey appreciate all your videos man, sad the video is quite outdated now, all of the new fight from the recent few release are fire and definitely would replace some of this
This all reference that i know Saber is refer to arthur pendragon that have Excalibur sword, much poeple wish a hope then she will stronger Berserker is refer to hercules that can revive 12 times, his can only killed with A rank magic or above in series Lancer is refer to cu chulian that he is a half god in irlandian myth, sadly in any series his always dies even in official parody (carnival phantasm) Rider is refer to medusa that called as mother of monster, usually she use a blindfold but in video shes using her eyes to fight saber causing saber cant move freely and in final of fight she call unicorn for refer that she is a mother of monster
to answer something I heard: Are servants human? Yes! And no! Some like lancer are mostly human i forget if this version is a demigod but i think he is... Saber is human but is also classified as a dragon due to lacking mana circuits instead having a dragon heart as her source of mana Gilgamesh is 2/3rds god Heraclius is 1/2 god Most of the assassins' are human at least from the main timelines And all servants are considered as spirits as well when summoned for war but maintain many of their features like Sabers dragon heart, or the fact they aren't human fully (shown because Gils chains of heaven have an easier time restraining Heraclius as they were meant to restrain partial gods like himself) The answer is it is very complicated and I wont even go into Quetza as she is another bag of worms with being technecaly both human and a parasitic lifeform recognized as human and god and lots of other stuff Also almost got mad cause he said Jean and I thought De Arc and then he said Genshin cause there are lots of Saber faces and Jean De Arc is not one of them BTW the lancer with two spears and the lancer with one long red spear are different but both are Irish the red spear the man with 2 has bypasses and cancels magic hence it went through the wind magic shrouding Sabers sword and her magic armor. the YELLOW spear makes it so wounds can not be healed until it is destroyed. Noble Phantasm: An item or feat based off the legend of a specific servent Artoria (Saber) Has Excalibur (the sword) Avalon (The sheath) and the attack named Excalibur witch can wipe out a decent sized skyscraper. 2 spear lancer has his 2 spears each with a special effect Heraclius can die 9 times and only after he is killed 9 times dose he go away and that recharges after a while as well Rider (big tan man) has his chariot and an alternate dimension filled with false servants representing is army from life Tan archer has his alternate dimension were he can manifest anything he has made before and throw them around Pretty much its an item or ultimate attack and some servants have ALOT of them it can be a book weapon armor item or ability even stuff like mounts like Astolphos hippogriff Excaliber morgan is saber alters sword and attack name it has her older sisters name in it as Morgan le Fey was seen as a villain and Saber alter is a mirrored or flipped personality of the OG righteous kind and chivalrous saber we see most of the time
I recommend you start with Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works, then Heavens Feels, then you can watch any other bc there are Spin Offs (like zero or apocrypha) on different time lines, also (maybe a spoiler) Fate Strange Fake is a sequel of Stay Night but the anime is not going to come out until 2024-2025, there are more animes in the same universe (nasuverse) like Garden Of Sinners and the soon to be premiered Witch On The Holy Night that are amazing too, with the same level of animation.
First of all, if there is one Thing you should know about Fate, then that is that there is basically nothing in terms of Anime that can compete in Animations! 2. Calling Saber, "Jean" is kind of insulting, considering that Fate and Saber are like 15 Years older than Genshin Impact, so if anything it should be the Other way around 3. Regarding Berserker, that dude might Visually fit Demon Slayer but let me tell you, if that Dude would have been in Demon Slayer, then Muzan would have won! That dude could take on all Hashiras at Once and would still No Diff the fight! Fate Powerlevels are actually Insane! Especially in Fate Grand/Order and Fate/Extra CCC the stakes are beyond Ridiculous and Characters casually destroying and Rebuilding worlds, destroying Reality and so on are pretty common occurences
Honestly every wherever you want, I would tell you that if I was mediocre, but I’m big fan of this beautiful shit called, so as accurate as possible and if you want to really get into the history and have the best experience, start with fate stay night 2006, is a bit old and the animatation is not close to what you saw but the history is so good as all in fate but also you get to understand many basic of fate history that if you didn’t watch it, you would loose a lot what it is important to know about magic and the history itself, also if you con support the 2006 anime, all the rest is piece of juicy animation, as you saw, EVERTHING literally, try at least to watch the start of 2006, if you really can’t handle it, it’s ok but you won’t understand a lot of the history, if you don’t watch and only want juicy animation start with Fate Zero, and take all the rest that you will what it is, but seriously I recommend you to start with 2006, my experience was beautiful watching it first as my next anime was fate zero and the difference makes you feel like heaven, but hey it’s on you now
That Archer dude, with Tanned skin? Spoilers: Its actually Shirous future version, he was summoned back there as a sole purpose of killing his past self, why? its up you figure by yourself for easier example: Its like like looking at your graduation photo when your a kid and remember all the cringe shot you've done or stupid decisions you've made in life..... not in the level of "me cringe, kill self"
Berserk herc is his weakest class btw. He can be summoned in every class except caster and Archer is his strongest form. So strong he mocked Gilgamesh after taking point blank attacks from him.
I'm going to probably dedicate a whole day where I don't stream, edit, or do anything except for watching noble phantasms. It will happen and I will post it.
Fate / Zero - if you want darker story (kiritsugu vs kirei) otherwise Fate / Stay Night : Unilimited Blade Works is a good start then Fate / Stay Night : Heaven's Feel is the movie
@@CrypticBoss the movie was done by a different studio the tv version was down by ufotable and is peak the movie version was done by studio dean and skips like 80% of the story
Yeah the list is kind of outdated, (especially with shirou vs Berserker in it), fights like Lancelot vs Agrivain, Gilgamesh vs Enkidu and Fujimaru vs Goetia would all make top 10
This is not reacting to the fight 😭 It's just you watching recap movie videos but I hope you will reacting the full Karna and siege fight that one is my favourite
Oh I purposely didn't want to react to the actual FULL fights cuz I'm interested in the anime so I kinda wanna save that for when I watch the whole anime for the first time :)
I hate the Karna vs Sieg fight so much! Karna is so much stronger and should have won, but because the power of bullshit, Achilles gives his shield to Astolfo that nullifies one of the strongs NPs in Fate, and even after that when they charge each other in the end, Karna has longer range with his spear than Sieg with his sword. Karna should have won so hard but got so robbed that I hate it. And if he lost I wish it was a fight that Ufotable made since A-1 kinda fucked it up with their wonky animation and bitcrushed sound design!
Y después Zero, ubw y HF (animadas obviamente).

What make me feel so unsure about this video is SPOIL :)))) Narrator just spitting plot and show every scene with result which we so amazed when first watch.
While fate has amazing fights The first fate anime doesnt have insanly crazy fight due to how old it is The fights are still good but the animation is very old(2006) So some people skip it(personally I think thats a bad decision)
