#genshinimpact #hoyoverse #reaction I Wanted to get back into genshin and thought watching the version trailers I haven't seen would be a great way to give me that excitement I've missed About the game.
Fontaine's latest archon quest is basically THE best quest in the entire game, its dramatic, the music is amazing, the plot is good well thought out, the characters are very well written too
Yup. The voice acting especially for the EN was superb for the whole fontaine cast. And its probably the first archon quest where i feel we are actually spectators and are not solely directly involved. Neuvi and furina are like the actual main cast here. Ofc for fights and battle scenes sumeru still takes the cake.
The reason that Scaramouche’s suit (the huge mechanical boss) looks like Raiden’s boss is because Ei (who is the creator of the raiden shogun as she is a puppet as well as scaramouche) is Scaramouche’s mother as revealed in the end of the inazuman archon quest by Yae Miko. That’s Ei’s puppet that she made by hand so she technically isn’t blood related but she is still considered his mother. And the Raiden shogun who is the boss we fight is Scaramouche’s sister. Thank you to the people for catching my error!
@@callmerosa170I respectfully disagree. If your mother created an android that looks like her and pretends to be her and is tasked to take her responsibilities, I'd likely call her mother than younger sister. 😅
I feel that intro. I took a break for a while after finishing Inazuma's Archon quest when it first dropped, then took another after the Caribert quest first came out. Didn't even touch the game until this recent update with the completed archon quest in Fontaine. To me, this game is best enjoyed in huge bursts rather than immediately completing everything every time it updates.
7:00 the song is the “Hustle and Bustle of Ormos” , Love the reaction and quick note, a lot of us love to watch people react to the music so we weren’t skipping it. We all appreciate the music in Genshin and love when others also appreciate it.
5:30 They're non-biological siblings, both puppets created by Raiden Ei, but he never met his mother as he was abandoned after he was made, and Raiden Ei soon went into meditation in her sword carried by the Shogun, whom she has the ability to control but his mecha suit was created by different people, likely attempting to create a similar appearance to honour his origins and the gnosis he is using
Kabukimono & Raiden Shogun meets each other before. It was during the time when Tatarasuna in peril so Kabukimono use the feather to see Ei but was denied by Raiden Shogun. (Wanderer character story)
@@mintpudding7908 I thought that he met Yae and she told him that the Raiden Shogun/Ei is unavailable (because she went into meditation) Ok edit: I went to check on the wiki, it says he met Yae after being refused, but it doesn't say refused by who, so I guess it's ambiguous whether he personally met the Shogun and she refused him, or if he was stopped outside the castle gates by the guards Looking back on my original comment, I myself don't clearly remember my intention, but it seems like I meant that the Kabukimono didn't meet Ei, rather than the Shogun, I suppose I wasn't very clear on that, even causing myself confusion, so I'll go and edit my comment to clarify
You can really feel how the trailers and the plot itself are getting better and better. And thought I am a Sumeru fan, Fontaine is the best region so far
Fontaine has been the best region in terms of story so far. It’s kinda a shame because you have to go through so much just to get there as a new player. For me I just play for the story now, the daily grind is insufferable to me now tbh.
If you were to continue with Genshin then please PLEASE upload a reaction to you playing the 4.2 Archon Quest. It’s literally THE best one this game ever did and I’d die to see your reaction to it!!
if you are in a burnout of genshin one thing ive done is play a completely different game or no games at all for a week or two which isn't to big of a downside, might miss a small event or two and definitely helps getting back on genshin without the feeling of "Ugh". I stopped for a whole 2 months and now am playing non stop again.
For me the burnout was huge, i just played from 1.0 until Liyue was finished and then never played until 4.2, took a few years of break since i do NOT like at all when a game makes me come back constantly to it.
@@Kiery9 nice grammar dude you criticizing a game when you have 0 knowledge about it just proves that you let what ppl say get in your lil brain and ur prolly under 14 since you had nothing else to say instead of critizing the game of being bad only when its the community that is bad
Returned to genshin recently after quitting just before Sumeru was released. 7:04 This was me when I heard this song for the first time. Honestly if you don't focus too much on artifacts and etc, you can have a good time just going through the story. The underwater exploration is so good, you forget that this is genshin you're playing. I get the exaustion you feel, and that was cause there was nothing to do in the game (at least in my case). You just go in, complete comissions and spend your resin. Every day. Just switch your focus on the story and exploration, that helped me. Cons of returning to genshin rn is waiting for all the dendro banners to come back (or any other banners), cause you've missed them. But honestly, the f2p national team is more than enough to blitz through the story imho.
Yooo was waiting for genshin reactions from you, it's awesome to hear that you still do play it and wanna catch up to the rest of the story, it's totally cool that you don't feel like playin it sometimes, just take it at ur own pace!
12:55 That’s because the version updates usually contains the new story/character story content that comes and the time-limited events, though it can vary which is at the forefront
I think you should also see a summary from the beginning of the game to Inazuma so you can remember what you forgot and besides, since you've already joined this boat, watch the demos, teasers and miscellany so you can be more excited to meet the new characters, this has already worked for me a couple of times, especially in Honkai and Star rail
Don bro, i was not expecting you to look into genshin, i was literally playing it when i saw this notif. idk if you would have the time to play it, the story quests are pretty lengthy but if you do then good for you, just appreciate genshin for the masterpiece that it is, it cannot be called a game, not with how insane and sad and perfect some of the quests are, the newest story quest which i have already done was so sad and moving and everything, genshin goes so beyond just a mere game
i had similar experiences, happened probly three times, an overload. Usually happens when i play so much. What i did is take a brake from it half to full month, then get back to it when i feel like to.
Sooo to answer some of your questions without spoiling anything; . there is no 3.9, the trailer you watched before 4.0 was kind of like a teaser for what 4.0 and up has to offer . Dehya is a character whose gameplay/dmg output is severely underwhelming, but she's actually an amazing character lore wise . . The monster thing in 3.2 who has the same thing as Raiden; yes correct, it's very similar. There's a reason for that but you'll find out sooner or later . In 3.3 was it him fighting himself? Kind of, it's a bit complicated but you'll also find out when playing. . in 3.4 everything is frozen in time yeah. Also a reason for that . in 3.5 the character wielding all those weapons (Mika) is a polearm user, but uses his crossbow with his skill . in 3.6, Baizhu is indeed the guy from Liyue! He finally got released as a playable character . in 3.7, yes Kirara is an Amazon delivery girl who can do back flips. . in 4.0, why is Childe here? it's cause he's mr. Worldwide, that's the only question I'm answering from anything post 4.0😂 My opinion on the latest Archon Quest: Best one so far. it's amazing that they managed to top the one from Sumeru given how good that one was. They seriously went crazy with this one. I really recommend rewatching the 4.1 trailer after Act II and rewatching the 4.2 trailer after Act IV, since things from the trailer will make so much more sense (yet also not at all at the same time, which is what makes it so freakin good)
If you love the Port Ormos theme music (the song you were gushing over in the beginning), I heavily suggest listening to "What if port ormos theme was an epic battle music" It's so good please give it a listen (tho the background video does contain spoilers so beware if you do if you haven't gotten passed Sumeru yet)
I support you and your. Awesome content you can go playing genshin especially if you haven't done sumeru main quests because they were peak IMO I quit the game for almost a year I didn't want to play extra more years only to get the siblings united together Also artifacts farming is PTSD
people who say that Dehya treat her as a DPS but she is a Tank "oh but I don't need a Tank" I don't care shut up "but her ult does damage" her entire kit is based on the skill I'm not going to respond to anyone wanting to start a stupid argument thanks
Honestly, Deyha's reception feels more or less like just a repeat of Zhongli's initial reception. Granted, Geo shields were pretty useless before 1.3 and definitely needed the change, but it still doesn't change the fact that it was wild that there were people who were surprised that the guy who can give you a shield with 100% uptime was better used as a support than as a DPS.
@@FelnalThat wasn't the point 🤡 Imagine marketing LITERAL GODS🤡🤡🤡🤡 Just for them to be mediocre? Really? Think..... Just THINK for a second. It ain't that hard....
@@Blackout_ - Not really. Her kit is balanced in all aspects. Hers isn't the best but she's well rounded. You're just thinking of comparing her to top tier DPS like Hu Tao but can't sustain for long or any top tier support but slow when soloing. She got all of that but not the best. Her best comparison would be Noelle at C6. Not as strong as Itto at DPS but can help team in other aspects.
dehya is definetly overexagerated with how bad she is, but she is overall a bad unit. She got some play in some teams now, but just because shielders are a thing, compared to them she is very lacking to straight up bad.
@@DoubtfulZero - Not really. She's just not the best in a specific role. You can't compare her to shielders since that's their main gameplay. Dehya's kit just is just all around accross the board. She's made to be flexible than being OP in a certain field.
I know that feeling so feel when you want to play or watch something but you can't get yourself to get into it lmao. Sadly havn't found a solution for this problem. Usually i just don't in the end which is a bit sad but forcing yourself to do something never ends too well. Gotta say though, you've seemingly stopped right before the most hype stuff starts. I know everyone is hyping up fontaine (rightfully so) but the ending of sumeru is really amazing as well.
The beginning is so real. I stopped playing at the beginning of sumeru when tighnari came out. I now hvae a years worth of content to get through before fontaine and im genuinely thinking about paying someone to play through sumeru and the dessert fof me. LOL
5:45 i think you forgot so let me remind you. Scaramouche is a discarded puppet of ei and he got the gnosis of her from yae. Basically he went to sumeru and convinced the people there to build him a mech using the power of the gnosis to create a new god for them since they dont like the current one.
if you want you could just react to it on some video instead of playing if you dont want to , but it is an amazing archon quest , the absolute peak of genshin
protip. if you want to play genshin for the story, especially the Fontaine archon quest, just pretend that you're just gonna watch a 1 season of anime for 4-5 hours and you can finish an archon quest that way lol fontaine is amazing
I get you, "Port Ormos" is the best location soundtrack in the entire game^^ And Dehya is honestly just so ironic xD This super cool rock music starts playing... and then you remember she hits like a wet blanket despite being a Pyro character and it's just funny. Also yes, she is by far the worst 5 star character, and not just because she is weak, but even her support skills are just lackluster, even compared to 4 star characters.
Sumeru is really the best region at that time...The most hype until Fontaine came...but for me Sumeru & Fontaine is almost close. Fontaine's underwater was just more fun to explore than Sumeru's deserts.
Yeah 2 bad Dehya got nerfed before she was released. In beta test she owned but now she was downgraded and moved to standard but never once I got her when I lost 50/50 what a let down.
I have goods and bads in each nation (my opinion) so ill list them cuz why not -Mondstadt it's good and has a good story but kinda bad at telling it and it's the start of the game so you'll get many tutorials, the events is kinda meh but i like tgcf no thats a book I FORGOT THE CARD GAME'S NAME ALR -Liyue Rlly love the story, exploring can be kinda boring but its fun and all i like with the fights is azdaha and ozial's wife and him, I LOVE THE EVENTS SPECIALLY NEW YEARS!! -Inazuma one of my fav regions, i LOVE the story i mean i love genshin story overall but i loved this one compared to liyue and mondstadt, the events is cool n nice n good n i love it, i love the characters and i LOVE the bosses, the exploration can be very annoying and frustrating cuz of THE EFFIN LIGHTING WTF but its nice -Sumeru the stories can be kinda long but rlly good lore, i love the animation, i HATE THE EXPLORATION NUH UH and i love the characters -Fontaine I LOVE THE LORE RLLY GOOD STORY LOVE IT, I love the exploration and boss fight and the characters, i just am both curious and nervous to how they're gonna continue the story since we have to get to 4.6 to start natlan -Natlan all i know abt it is bennett, and, well, bennett left n got bad lcuk, and, uh, land of dragons, and war, and south america, and, idk man. -Sneznhaya LOVE IT I LOVE TSARITSA I LOVE THE FATUI I LOVE IT OVERALL -Kaenri'ah based on what they explained in game- im alr with it but bro i dont know anything abt it either.
Sumeru is pretty good i suggest trying out maybe other hoyo games to get away from the burnout or even something else. I have my own issues with Fontaine with hoe it handlse some characters but overall its very action packed with cool cutscens and one amazing character hence why people like it.
Its fair to lose morivation for it, i play for about a month or two and then stop. Its better to stop when youre burned out and be opem to coming back again than forcing yourself to play it tbh
Sumeru is so exhausting. Like why every single world quest must be that long. It too long for me. And im actually traumatized by this and im not doing any world quests even in fontain
The gameplay is really good until you have played it a while and then it gets kinda stale. The story is amazing but not in the beginning, and the music is godly.
I finished up to the 2nd biggest boss and got bored of the grind. Then Honkai came out and substituted and I enjoy it much more. Genshin despite getting so many updates feels stale imo
Literally me but only up to the point where you enjoyed Honkai (star rail?), played both to solve my issues with Genshin getting stale most of the time.. However, I found out stories and limited events isn't enough to keep me in Star Rail, especially when Wuthering Waves and ZZZ are starting to have some progress updates: G-star Convention for WW and another Tuning Test for ZZZ.
sumeru is where the game started getting a lot better and fontaine took it even further beyond, is the best archon quest so far from characters to story
its ok i stopped playing genshin for awhile after inazuma archon quest because it is trash. But honestly returning is the best choice i ever made because sumeru's archon quest is top tier. After sumeru i thought the next region (fontaine) cannot keep up with sumeru because it is too good but iam wrong. Fontaine archon quest as good as sumeru. still i prefer sumeru though...
we are all in the same boat for genshin tbh, i use to have such love for genshin ive played since launch, but they really killed all motivation for ppl to play the game, i enjoy honkai star rail much more now o7 its so much better
It depends entirely on what motivates you. I've never lost that motivation, but I've begun to lose it for Star Rail. They're both good games but they target different appeals in different ways (and that's a good thing).
@@effortlessfuryyeah same to me im more burnout on HSR especially that Luofu story disaster and its more repetitive gameplay compared to genshin.. i think its more on preference.. more people love to grind and afk then they play hsr and me who love open world and love exploration more stick to genshin.. but for me the make-or-break for continuing a hoyo game is on how good the story is because im not totally invested on characters anymore or gacha in general and thank god Fontaine improves while hsr story is eh.. kinda curious on the next planet tho.
@@JohnCivor I give HSR benefit of the doubt because slow starts seem to be common in HoYo games. The overarching lore seems interesting, but despite generally preferring sci-fi to fantasy, there is a lot about how Genshin approaches it's story, many aspects of which actively turn plenty of people away, that lends it my preference.
You definitely shouldn’t force yourself to play Genshin. I suggest that you play some other games that you’re interested in or play nothing at all for a while, that helps for me whenever I feel burnt out. Take your time and don’t rush :)
I know the burnout on Genshin I also feel the same where I want to play it but its just boring, doing world quest and side quest are boring, the combat is boring, events are boring too since its the same as before. The only reason I still play it is for the Archon quests, some characters, and just to explore from time to time.
