You can't deny a gifted voice I don't care who's singing, I still remember being 19,20 years old a young black girl from the south driving through town listening to the radio singing a journey song, loving it, I have been a fan every since I heard Steve perry's voice, never forget his name or his unique sound, I am in my sixties and still listening to his music, you just don't forget something so amazing

You can't go wrong with Journey... Separate Ways and Stone in Love are both 'rockers'...as well as Wheel in the Sky and 'Anyway You Want' it. Their catalog is filled with hits... Keep rockin'!! 😎👍🏻👍🏻 thumbs-up. I hope you get around to Steely Dan, I really think you'd like their tune Black Cow, crazy title ( I know ) but, killer smooth song and not what you'd expect by the name of the band or song, plus I think your homies would enjoy it and you wouldn't have to listen to it by yourself...😉😄 Cheer's. ✌

A lot of commenters are suggesting Journey’s “Wheel in the Sky.” I agree that’s a good one. Just be careful tho. If you choose a live performance the tempo of the song will be much faster than the recorded version. And I mean *much* faster! They really let loose on that one in concert.

Journey is legendary! And Steve Perry's voice is a gift beyond compare. Listen to "Mother, Father" if you want to hear his vocal range, it will amaze you. I'm glad people notice your taste in music; turn them on to Journey and they'll realize that good music has nothing to do with color/age/gender but everything to do with your human soul!

I've just finished watching all your Journey reactions and it brings back so many memories of first hearing Steve Parry's incredible voice and being completely blown away by this new singer and the band Journey. Every one of his songs is a masterpiece both the studio version and live versions. What an incredible band, all these songs sound just as good today. Thank's for sharing your reaction Twon, it was a lot of fun to see a young person react to this incredible band and feeling the same way I did so many years ago. Great music will live forever, 50 years from now young people will still listen to Steve and be awestruck just as we were.

The way you say you feel listening to journey, I still have that same feeling today and I was listening to this music when it first came out back in the early 80s. I was in high school and every time I hear a journey it takes me back to those moments in my life when I was so, so very young. And I will say that journey is my favorite band and has been since the 80s. It’s great to hear young people like you that appreciate classical music like journey and others from the 80s. Steve Perry is the voice.

Love your reactions, and I love that you love Steve Perry. He is my all time favorite make vocalist. Whenever I hear Journey I'm 17 years old, laying in the grass at Contempo Park listening to this song on my boom box. Was fortunate enough to see Journey live in 1981 when I was 17. Please watch "Still They Ride", live in Tokyo:1983 (Steve had the flu and still went out and pulled off this perfect performance), "Foolish Heart", and "I Stand Alone" are some of my other favorites. Check 'em out. You won't be disappointed. Keep doin you. You're one of the best on here

Don't worry about anyone seeing you listening to Journey. Their songs are objectively beautiful and soul touching and the world needs to be exposed to more of that. So many young people have no idea what they're missing out on. Think about how much richer people's lives would be with Journey on the radio again. And I don't care if you're a 220 lb biker dude. When you hear those first few strains, you WILL BE a small town girl livin' in a lonely world!

Steve Perry is the lead singer of Journey . In 1984 Steve Perry ventured out to make a solo album called: Street Talk . This solo album contained quite a few hits that topped the charts for over a year and a half , thus earning him the title of "The Voice" . I would suggest that you do a reaction video to 2 songs from his solo album , the first one is called "Oh Sherry" and the second one is called "Foolish hearts"...you will not be disappointed !!!
