They played this song at my Brother’s funeral because he was a huge Journey fan, he was only 17, fell out of the back of a pickup, was declared brain dead and my Mom had to make the horrific choice of turning off the machines. It was years that I couldn’t cry when hearing this song, today it just gives me serious goosebumps and I firmly believe it’s just my brother’s way of letting me know he is ok, even all these years later. The only man in music I put even close to being in Steve Perry's league was Chris Cornell (RIP 😔). Perry has a voice that is just beyond words. He could sing the phone book and give you goose bumps.

I met Steve a couple of times (he lived nearby) and he is the real thing. Very nice and not swayed by fame.

It’s actually a guys shirt in the 80s. Steve Perry is an amazing vocalist and the world was crushed when he quit and just walked away from music in the mid 90s. I seen his replacements in concert. I've known this since the early 80s because I'm from Houston and have seen journey live in concert. Steve Perry is second to none!! He has a unique voice and he owns it!!

Check out "When you love a Woman" Steve's last video with them. They he dressed that's the 70's. I always loved his hair. When I saw him in the 90's his hair was down to his butt. And it is in the video I mentioned too. His phenomenal too.

Haha!! Too funny. Not a blouse dear friend. It is Steve's signature leopard print shirt, and the 'jacket' is a tux. It is on display at the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in Cincinnati Ohio. The 80's was a weird time for outfits. Trust me, I was in HS, and I can't believe some of the things we wore. God Bless!

My wife loved Journey and specifically Steve Perry. I’m convinced if she could be with him she’d leave me. The group touring right now as Journey isn’t Journey. Without Steve there is no Journey. That’s my opinion.
