Matt Damon and Ben Affleck wrote this movie together. Robin Williams was too expensive for their budget, but Robin read the script and decided to restructure his contract because he saw the potential of the movie.

Before this film: Damon & Affleck, childhood friends who were semi-known actors. Then they made this incredible piece of work as writers. Gave there best as both writers and actors. Casting Minnie Driver (up and coming as well) and the late Robin Williams was perfection. After this film: Critical acclaim and award wins, Including 3 Oscars. Best Original Screenplay for Damon & Affleck, Best Supporting Actor for Robin Williams. I was rooting for them all to win during the Academy Awards show. In the end of it all, nearly 25 years later. The filmmakers, the cast and moviegoers remember a story about being gifted and not just for the purpose of being smart. But being strong enough to give and receive the love that we all deserve.

I love the part where Will and Chuckie are at the construction site and Wills talking about blowing off this chance at getting out of that town and putting his knowledge to use and chuckie tells him don’t do it for yourself, do it for me. That he knows that he’ll work construction all his life and be a lifer in that town but will has talent and like he says “it’d be an insult to me if you stayed.” Then how for a couple of minutes on the drive over to pick Will up for work in the mornings, he hopes he won’t answer, because he’ll have just gone, pursuing his dreams. Will and Skyler did not get too close too fast. The argument in her dorm room was 100% his fear. With the exception of his friends everything that he ever got that was good was ripped away from him. I just came across your channel today and loved your reaction to this movie. Good Will Hunting is my favorite movie and you uploaded your reaction on my birthday (May 13th). I thought that was a pretty cool coincidence. You've earned yourself a new sub.

I found that Robin Williams was one of the funniest actors in the world ever but when he plays a straight roll he hits it outta the park every time have you watched Bicentennial Man I think it's best

I liked "Bicentennial Man" more than the better promoted "A.I."

Death to smoochie. One of my favorite robin williams movies. Also had Edward Norton in it. It’s a comedy with dark humor. Really need to react to that one.

Oh MAN. A CAPED SOUL INFORMER you are indeed. What a powerful, deep, and elevating analysis you graced us with! I'll rewatch those words. Especially meaningful to me on a meaningful day. I even got a ladybug crash my computer during a lightning storm while watching this... Cheers from France!

One of his early early movies is called the world according to GARP. I haven't seen anybody react to it. I actually haven't seen it years I think it's from 1982. It's definitely worth seeing. Craig t Nelson is in it as well if you know him. He played the father in poltergeist and was on a TV show called 3rd Rock from the Sun and coach.

Another good Robin Williams movie is Awakenings, which also has a brilliant performance by Robert Deniro

You might check out The Fisher King. Both he, (Robin Williams), and Jeff Bridges are disturbingly brilliant. And it won Mercedes Ruhl an Oscar.

One of my favourite motivational drama. Thanks for the reaction. Robin Williams (RIP) was so good in this. So worth to receive the grammy.

"Death to Smoochy", Edward Norton and Robin Williams in a dark comedy by Danny DeVito about the behind the scenes of a "Barney the Dinosaur"-like production featuring corruption, lies, murder, & gluten free hotdog buns.

I think excellent improv comedians also make excellent dramatic actors.

You can make boston to California in 4 to 5 days. My family moved from philly to Colorado when I was 10. That drive was 4 days however we made many vacation trips & 3 days was the norm

It's crazy but true that many abuse victims blame themselves for their trauma because they convince themselves that they were beaten for not being good enough and that it's their fault.
