The reason Hyenas and lions are rivals is because they've always occupy the same hunting grounds. They will often fight over these grounds and try to chase each other off any kill they make. The fights between them are often very brutal. In the Lion King, the hyenas are depicted as being scavengers that hunt just for the fun of it, which threatens the delicate balance Mufasa talks about. Hence Mufasa tries to keep them in check
11:34 on 1v1 combat, no doubt, they're done. But lions hunt in coordinated attacks and strategies and are smart enough to know when they can't win so they avoid elephants and shit they can't handle.
@@alyssabullock6421 yyeah, I also think so, I still remember when I reacted to every unexpected thing that I didn't see coming in each episode of the 3 seasons, and if someone else did it on video it would be great
The amount of people that complained about the so-called "lack of emotion" in this movie are either blind or have never been taught that emotions are in the eyes. The only mistake made with this version is the way they did "Be Prepared".
I do love how in this version, Shenzi is the leader of a whole hyena clan. It's more accurate to how real hyenas work, since females are the dominant ones
Why I decided to finish watching this at work with a coffee was a big mistake on my part 😂😂😂😂 Don that scream when Nala jumped out to eat Timone and Pumba had me creasing!!!! Thanks for making our weeks better with your uploads
Bro your one of the best reactors ive watched in a long time. I wish i had a phone capable of downloading patron i would be a subscriber in a heartbeat. Keep going and reacting to whatever giving us variety but yes keep going with flash and arrow 😊
7:31 lion prides will consist of multiple females, all of which typically related. The pride is ruled over by a male, although it is far more common for prides to be lead by a coalition of males. Coalitions being more prevalent now due to habitat fragmentation and loss of territory spaces. Females are the core and essentially second line of defence for the young cubs, with males of course being the main force of defence. For this reason lionesses will synch their cycles to ensure they birth within close proximity in time to allow more efficiency in their allo-parental crèche like systems. Some will stay to nurse and watch over the young whilst the rest will hunt. A lot of people assume that due to the females being related and sired by the pride male, this will incur inbreeding. Though that possibility cannot be absolutely ruled out. I mean personally I have yet to come across any observations/records of this in my studies thus far and my professors have also not witnessed or observed this during their decades of field research throughout east/west/south Africa. But it doesn’t mean it hasn’t happened. However, in addition to young males being forced out at 2-3 years of age, it is also more common for the pride male to be ousted via takeovers before their female offspring reaches receptive sexual maturity. To that, a lion will almost always mate only with non related lionesses. Coalitions also aid in mitigating incestuous relations too.
The original Animated Lion King from 1994 is far better and far more emotion impacting, I highly recommend you watch that one. They glaze over and change some things in this one
We know it not the flash but he can choose what to react to you never know there might be a good reason he uploaded this instead of the flash so be patient and let are fav reactor do his thing
Nants Ingonyama Bagithi baba, the issue is it sounds weird because he hesitates on some weird parts which is a zulu thing. "Nants-Ingonya- ma bagithi baba"
I have never heard the slang term "bear" before. And he says it so many times. Is it like the opposite of "bare" like empty? But now it means many? I don't get it.
I wish someone who's already seen the animated one would react to this, a lot of reactors who see this movie never see the original beforehand. I don't know why you'd choose this to start with when the original came FIRST 😔

Oh, did you see the live action, I saw it and did like it a bit: the story is the same and maybe a few changes and in the lines, I always love the story of the Lion King 37:42 This part hurt me, as much as Mufasa's death. But I was moved to the bottom of my heart by the moment that Simba, after what his father told him, exclaims: "I am Simba, son of Mufasa" and returns home.
@@fransthefox9682 yes I know but the saying is that they are the kings of the jungle. the real reason they are seen as one of the best predators is because of their mentality. And the saying ‘the king of the jungle’ the word jungle is a less literal meaning and more of how lions are seen as apex predators.
@@Dekodahere They may be apex predators, but they don't hunt every animal. Not everything is below them in the food chain. Like a full grown, healthy elephant. No pride of lion is gonna take one down.
@@fransthefox9682 I was explaining what I meant. I know not every animal is below them and I know an elephant couldn’t be prey to them. All I was explaining is one of the main reasons they are apex predators is their mentality.
This is my first time commenting,by the way great reaction, but in the animated version when Scar,Mufasa and Zazu got to the gorge im sure Scar slapped Zazu into a rock and was knocked out so he didn't know the full story of Mufasa's death
@@llISmokeylll i don’t want him to finish it, who would I want him to watch anything after crisis on infinite earths(except a few episodes in season 9)
I’m a big Lion king fan I love all of the movies so much that I have to agree with don townsend we should watch annmal documentary if that hamst if in the wild it is very interesting because I love Lion king
To be honest you should watch the animated lion king 1 and than the others in the series.. I mean this one is cool it has really great CGI and stuff, but the original one is so much more emotional..Like Mufasas death here is so boring, but when I watch it in the animated one I always cry..It just has much more power..
11:34 Gorillas could, cause there is a chance with Asiatic lions. However, with hippos, lions rarely hunt them; when they do, sometimes they are successful. However, if it was a 1v1 and they're both in for it (not realistically where a lion wouldn't since it's by itself and knows it's not strong enough, etc.) a hippo would win.
Don’t hold your breath on that reaction, someone on patreon warned him of the contradiction to the lore in that arc and all the inconsistencies. That as of right now don has expressed he isn’t going to react to the granolah arc.
@@ryanjagpal123 I’m sorry it took me so long to respond but I had to go back on patreon to see exactly what they said so I could tell you without a doubt or without me paraphrasing. But on patreon people was just spamming about issues with the new bardock or dragon ball super version of bardock how he is the most unlikable character and they ruin goku’s character and vegeta’s character by making vegeta clueless on what saiyan pride is, people on patreon was there are a lot of weird and strange dialogue in the granolah saga that don’t sound like the characters they grown love. Oh and another thing I almost forgot, some chapter called dragon ball minus that people keep saying is really bad and they want dragon ball super to stop references it. I don’t read dragon ball super, I just watch the show. So I don’t completely understand what happened in the granolah arc or dragon ball minus but apparently people really dislike those.
@@Music-rl1ll that is interesting, some people are just like that though to be honest if there is a slight issue with the character’s and their dialogues
