The desks that our school provides seats 2 students. They are working on getting individual desks. This is what we have so we have to work around it. That is why I have 30 chairs so I can space out the students. Students also have the option of staying online.

You can attach the doorbell to your lanyard by using one of the bath and body works mini hand sanitizer holders that you can clip to your purse.

Hi Lena- you can go to Bath and Body Works, (or go online), and buy one of their little hand sanitizer carriers that are made of silicone/stretchy plastic. Your doorbell remote will fit inside one and then it has a clasp that you can use to attach it to your lanyard. Lauren, from @puttingthemfirst, has the cutest unicorn one! Hope this helps! ☺️

If you don't want to do the Bath & Body Works sanitizer holder, you can also just hot glue a clothespin to the back and clip it on your lanyard that way. It's what I did last year and it worked fine.

An idea that I saw- the kid lays out 5-10 items on the floor that best describe who they are (think: video games, books, etc) and they lie in the middle and have someone take their photo with all their interests. For the doorbell, teachers put it into the plastic holder for hand sanitizers that Bath & Body Works sells.

You can use your border to straighten your "crooked" paper. Start low on one side and gradually move the border up. Same with the sides.

I work at a daycare currently and we have a song for our kids when washing their hands, its " wash, wash, wash your hands wash them nice and clean wash the top wash the bottom wash in between" and have them sing it twice which is the correct time .

I love this advice! As a first year teacher, very nervous about going back in person, how do you feel being in a daycare? For your job board, maybe think about using velcro dots to the back of some cute, small laundry clips and then all you'll need to do is open and close the clips to move the numbers around.

I like the hand sanitizer holder idea. I saw another teacher on RU-vid hot glue the back to the lanyard clip. I can't remember who it was. I'll comment if I find it. I've been randomly watching every classroom setup video I've come across, so I've watched several teachers :P I love your classroom, and your energy and love for your students. Hi, I am a high school teacher from South Africa, I teach English and Afrikaans (one of our 11 languages unique to our country). It is really odd to see that teachers from all over the world is going through the same thing at the same time. As you prepare for the opening of your schools, we here in South Africa are nearing the end of what was supposed to be our last two terms. Our government have just closed the schools again, this time for four weeks to try and wait out the peak of the virus. We had our kids back for about a month after our first unplanned break of three months. It was quite difficult to fit 20 students in our tiny classrooms with keeping their desks 1.5meters apart as our government required. I love watching you set up you classroom. I love your writing center!

This virtual school stuff is crazy to me! In third grade I was nine years old, we didn’t own a computer, we didn’t have a cell phone, I had no idea how to use a key board, google or any Microsoft applications. IM ONLY 22 YEARS OLD! Things have changed so much in such a short amount of time.

Hi, this is pertaining to your door bell. Just an idea, hot glue a strip of that border in the back of your room and purchase a binder clip and use it to hang from your lanyard.
