Thanks for the great videos! I used to fish that area a lot. If I may offer 1 tip. After I put a bait on the hook I always check for a scale that may be stuck on the point of the hook. More often then not one gets stuck on there after piercing through the bait. I read a pro tip years ago saying this could cause hooks to pull.
Bro, found this blast from the past. Maybe you should do a series of "revisits" of your early videos and show off your updated skillz. As always, love the content and keep up the great work. Also, I'd love to see you do more collab work with Brad, Brant, Matt, and Ron in the future. #ClickBaiterz
Every year my family goes down to Freeport Florida and we stay at my father in law's big bay house. You can see the 331 bridge from his place. Anyway, every year I spend SO MANY hours out there fishing. I catch pin fish just like you did with a cast net, and I will fish for reds for what seems like days. After a while you learn what you have on the line just by how it's fighting. Catfish and stingrays go straight to the bottom. Sharks just fight hard period (small ones), and redfish seem to come near the surface and fight hard right away, then tire quickly. There's nothing better than hitting on a school of reds! We are headed down there in a couple of weeks to stay for about 6 weeks. I cannot WAIT!
Great vid Sean. Its great to see videos that are "real life", not just highlights of the trophy fish. Because we all know fishing is up and down..sometimes you may just catch catfish, or even nothing. Keep up the good work.
Clay Marrs Thanks Clay. Trying to “keep it real” and I’m sure after going to Florida with me you can attest I am not a trophy fisherman, not for a lack of trying though, lol.
Thise sail cats are good eating! Hard heads..not so much lol nice video! I've lived here since 94 and I fish all the time. I mainly target reds and trout too. check out my local report sight on Facebook @27 on the nose.
