This was a great watch. Those reds fight like crazy. Over slaughter must mean medium size. And bull must be the giants. I'm learning. The amount of energy you have. You got my 42 year old body beat. Lol. I've just been running into rainbow trout. Got a 7.9 lb the other day.
So, catching one bull red over 20 lbs is a "Fish of a Lifetime" for most of us watching. That means I just witnessed several lifetime dreams in one "off peak" fishing trip. Incredible.
Yep! Didn't get to fish much for them this season. In years prior I've caught them up to 48 inches and weighing 40 lbs. In my video library I have footage of a 38 and a 39 pounder. Check those out when you get the chance. Thank you so much for watching and good fishing to ya!
Nice catching as usual capt. Is there any particular strategy u rely on in catching these big bull reds? Deeper water, in coming or outgoing, morning or evening, I know these all come in to play, but what's ur favorite conditions? Ur always on the fish no matter where u fish it appears u hav mastered the art of hunting & pulling the big ones over the rail & into the pal. Lol og da boss, AKA SPEEDYGSTER...
Thanks buddy and thanks for watching! I like fishing hard shell bottoms in 35 to 45 feet. As for tides, I catch them on both incoming and outgoing. Just depends on the spot. Putting in my time and good old trial and error is what's helped me become consistent in catching these giants!
@TheNorthFloridaAngler yea I hear you, trial & error & putting in the time is key forsure. We been getting on some nice 17" to 20" 4 & 5 lb sheepers, we've definitely got that figured out. I'm hunting larger ones, thinking that deeper water could be a prospect...as usual, thks for the entertainment, u hav definitely put in the tim I see u catching the monsters on most all ur vidoes...latters!!! Speedygster...
