Starting 2023 with an Isabella trip!!!! It wasn't what we expected but it sure was a fun trip regardless. Thanks for watching and hope to bring out more content for this year. LEst just say I will be coming back for revenge this spring for those fish in Isabella Lake!

which part of the lake were you on/ doesn't look at all familiar. Isabella has always skunked me. Caught two stocked trout around 1973 right below the dam on either worms or legs. And the Kern and South Kern, even with flies, are two of 4 rivers that have skunked me. The Owens(upper and lower) and the Rogue being the others. Did great in all the feeders up to the Golden Trout Wilderness, but the Kern always got the best of me.

Lake doesn’t look the same anymore just because of how low the water levels have gone… I will be heading up there again specially for some trout so thanks for the tips Brotha
