Sorry to hear that! Some people just don't care. It's people like these that cause some good fishing areas to be closed. Yea, lunch was supposed to be fish that we were gonna catch but they wouldn't bite at the time. We were hungry so we couldn't wait any longer for the fish. That's why we had to cook the beef.

@@edkonvang just give you a hint, crappie bites best with a little wind. But over there always big wind or no wind.

You're right! We were there early in the morning with no wind and no fish. Lol We started catching fish when it got really windy in the late afternoon.

@@edkonvang Hello , awesome videos. Can you tell me how to get there? My dad and I drove around for 45 minutes and couldn't find the spot. We went around in circles. Ended up on the 155 but not sure on where to turn to get to that spot. Please and thanks .

Take road 155 then turn right on E. Evans Rd. and it will take you all the way to that spot. Good luck!

i got my live bait from Kevin 99 cents Store in Fresno and we were fishing towards the back. i think the area is called Freear Park. If you look at the last part of my video you will see the drone clip and you'll see a lot of cars park along the lake and that's where we were fishing. Good Luck!

I'm using minnows with 4lbs P-Line. I live in Fresno so i got my minnows from "Kevin 99 Cents Plus" and i was fishing off road 155.

Olive Ave. Fresno, Ca 93702 559 455-1977 The Boat Shoppe 2125 Ventura Ave. Fresno, Ca 93702 559 433-1025 It's a good idea to call them to check and make sure they have minnows before you go cause sometime they run out. Hopefully, this will help you.

This is a recent video. I called "Kevin 99 Cents Plus" to ask if he had live minnows on April 30, and he did. That's how i was able to buy minnows to go fishing at Lake Isabella. If you look up "Kevin 99 Cents Plus" online, it states, "Due to going precautionary measures, please contact the business directly for updated hours and availability." The phone number is 559 455-1977. If you'd like, call verify that he was opening April and is still open. He opens at 10:30 am daily. In regards to using minnows that are sourced from another body of water the minnows were store bought from a bait store. I did not get them from another body of water. Thank you for the heads up, but i was adhering to CA fishing regulations.

@@edkonvang You are right, I forgot the regulations differ from district to district. Can't use live minnows as bait where I live or else I would. Takes a lot of the work out of crappie fishing. Thanks for the info on the bait shop
