Some windows (doggie) do require a tech to do a reset by connecting a laptop to the car.

Yes, that is to calibrate the California mode. The one I'm showing is just for the side windows. You can also calibrate the liftgate window with the button on the overhead controls.

Yes, Mariana and MaliBlu. Service confirmed with me today that I need a mobile tech to do an in person reset on the doggie windows.

My tech was sent down from Maryland to address issues with a bunch of owners. I also heard another from Florida was doing the western of NC. You need to put in a service request. I find the 844 number the best way of doing this. Since they are short staffed on mobile techs, it will take a while. My request took seven weeks.

@@anwarjaffery8147 the only way to repair is to have a service tech come out to calibrate it was not able to find any self help remedies

From what I have heard, you can do a similar reset on the liftgate window from inside. Using the overhead button, press to open, then hold for five seconds immediately after open. Then press to close, then hold for five seconds immediately after closed. If you still have problems, you may need service to calibrate the windows.

That didn’t work for the rear lift gate window but I was able to get it closed a little more. There’s still about a 1/4” gap. Fisker says they’ll have to send someone to recalibrate it. Thanks so much for your help!

I am still waiting for my service ticket to fix the doggie windows and the paint scratches. It has been three weeks. I have no idea how long it will take. My guess on the east coast, it will be a while.

@@MTNRanger This was/is my concern. Fisker should know better and have been prepared for this, it's a rough start and not showing a customer centric experience.

Funny, I'm working on that video this week. 1. Open the charge port door 2. Lock the door with the key fob 3. Wait up to 2 minutes for the blue charge port light to turn red and then off. Within a few minutes, the vehicle will enter deep sleep mode 4. unlock the door and get inside 5. in the drivers seat, step on the brake and wake the car up.

This is not uncommon for new cars. My Tesla also has a window reset method and I had to use that a few times during the first couple years.

@MTNRanger I have had my EV6 GT Line for 17 months now. I had one issue that wasn't really an issue. Basically, when I remotely turn on the air conditioning, then the temperature in Degrees turns to Celsius. I have to change back the units each time. The issues with Fisker are on a different level. Some of them sound like serious safety concerns. Having a car shut down while driving should be a top priority before someone gets hurt. I hope they will be able to resolve these issues and to deliver the functions which the customers already paid for in a timely manner. I hope that's within the next 2 months. Their reputation is on the chopping blocks and I feel they made some bad decisions because they badly needed cashflow. They got to quickly deliver the 9000 cars that are sitting. I feel like as much as I have invested, that I should help them right the ship. I hope Magna doesn't drop Fisker over reputation concerns and cash reserves. If I ran Magna, I would be very concerned about Fisker's ability to pay. On top of that, they can see like the rest of us, that two CAO quit. Plus, they did not file the accounting form with the NYSE. What are they doing?

@@coolpix222 The issue of cars stopping has been addressed by fixing the seat sensor. All new cars since September should not have this problem (mine included). Magna has a vested interest in Fisker doing well. They have an investment in the company. The Ocean is also a showcase of Magna systems and parts, and will be their highest volume car produced in Graz, Austria. So I don’t think Magna will “drop” Fisker. There are also contractual obligations for both parties. Yes Fisker has serious issues with customer service and deliveries at this point that will need to be addressed. They hired a new CAO recently that should be a better fit for the company. The previous one that lasted two weeks should not have been hired. Fisker also need an experienced COO from the auto industry. All of these things can be done. I’m personally not worried about the short term stock market price. Though they need to get things in order by the middle of next year for fund raising needed for new vehicle development. Thanks for your comment.
