I’ve had a really crappy day. This video really made me smile and cheered me up!

I'll be wearing Alphaflys (v1) at Berlin. Gutted to miss the Shakeout Run but we land in Berlin at 09:45 on Saturday. Hopefully run into you on the course :-D Good Luck to all running on Sunday!

Currently on a long weekend in Crete, and while in the supermarket, a young local complimented me on my Ben Parkes top and said he also enjoyed the channel! Have a great time in Berlin guys! Keep up the good work 😎👍💪

It's funny I just did my last proper workout (from your plan!) before my half-marathon on Sunday and I was doing the same thing comparing between Endorphin speed 2s and Pros 2s

Hi Ben! I am in Berlin to run the marathon this week!! So excited. Visiting from San Francisco. I almost came out to meet you for the shake out run this morning but you were going out later than I wanted and honestly your easy conversational pace is like 3 minutes a mile faster than I run!! I’m slow but I thought about you running here today. I’ve watched your videos and find them entertaining and really informative. This is my second marathon ever. First one was Marine Corps about 30 years ago. 😬 I’ve done the hard work for this one! I’m confident I can do it. But that doesn’t stop the nerves. Good luck tomorrow!

That river path / shared cycle route out past thamesmead is great, been using it recently as part of my long run route out and back to Woolwich arsenal!

I love your videos Ben. Cracks me up how you called the endorphin pro 3: speed 3, pro 3, and pro 2. So many shoes to remember!

I recently got into running and tried all these along with the Hoka Rocket X and for my feet the Hoka’s and Endorphin Pro were the most comfortable. I purchased the Hoka as it was about 50% off. All are great!!

Best of luck in Berlin! I had to drop my goal race for the year because of being sick and losing too much training, so I feel your pain a little bit! I've got a 25k scheduled now though! Glad to see you're in good spirits and have a fun race in the lead-up to Valencia!

Another energy bomb from my favorite youtuber👍 Good luck in Berlin, had the pleasure of running there in 2013 in a pair of Newtons I bought at the expo the day before. Wandered around all day before the race and had tired legs race day🤭 Going to run Amsterdam in three weeks in Alphafly 1, a little older and a lot wiser🌝

Yesterday I took out an old pair of Alphafly 1s for some speed work. I have already done 200km in them but they hadn't lost any of their pep. The combination of cushioning and energy return from the forefoot was absolutely incredible. I was flying; it was impossible to keep the paces down. Since I shifted to more of a mid/forefoot strike, and better technique, I get a lot more out of this shoe. This shoe was designed for the best pros and you need to emulate them to get the most out of it. The only thing preventing me from using them in my autumn marathon is the price! I can't bring myself to shell out another £200+. So I am sticking with the VFs I found on sale.

Running NYC Marathon in November and it’ll be the 1st marathon outing for the New Balance RC elite for me. They’ve done me well for everything up to 1/2 marathon, PB’s every time. Fingers crossed,,,,

Good to see you and Sarah having a lot fun out there Ben! I’m racing Indianapolis in 6 weeks and will most likely be going with the old faithful Vaporfly 2s. Considering snagging a pair of the OG Alphafly’s to test out to see if I like more than the Vaporfly’s.

I have the Endorphin Pro 2, Adios Pro 2 and Alphafly V1 but for me the Alphafly is still my go to marathon shoe for return and cushioning. All the best in Berlin, enjoy it! Berlin is a bucket list race for me!

I’ve worn Alphaflys for my last 3 marathons. They aren’t the most comfortable but I think I’ll be wearing them for London next week. They are a great shoe! Good luck in Berlin x

I’m in the same boat - Not sure what to aim for at Berlin. I was injured for two weeks in mid August and then came back slowly for another week. Basically missed three weekends of long runs. I’m probably going for 2:45. See you at the shakeout run!

Did a half in the alphafly 2 last weekend. It's certainly fast and keeps your pace until the end. Also no issue comfort wise. Only downside is the weight. Definitely felt the quads the following 2 days.

I'll be wearing Alphaflys (v1) at San Sebastian marathon in Spain (27th Nov)... also wore the Alphaflys V1 at Berlin last year and Hannover marathon back in April (PB)... I haven't tried the V2 but for marathon distance racing... the Alphas are the best shoe out there in my opinion (more efficient shoe whilst protecting the legs at marathon pace)... Anyways, enjoy Berlin, the atmosphere and people support is great along the course and the finish line under Brandenburg Gate is amazing - have fun !

Unfortunately i´m not in Berlin for the Weekend. I use your plans for my own Marathon Training and i want to say thank you! For PAris in April i was very good prepared and i hope the same for Frankfurt in 5 weks.

Alphafly 1's for me when I run the St George Marathon October 1 in Utah. Almost all downhill so I am hoping my quads hold up, but it should be fun! Good luck in Berlin and I hope you have a great run and lots of fun!

I just picked the pro3 as my first pair of saucony shoes. I typically use a variety of Hoka’s in my daily rotation, Rincon, Clifton, Mach 5… but I’ve heard so many good things, about the pro3. Plus, I love pink shoes.

Best of luck for Berlin & whatever your time will be, will be. Just toeing the line after UTMB will be a success. My shoe choice for Chicago will be those super comfy New Balance RC Elite V2s. They are fast enough for me, but I am a fair way behind you 🐌

So Montreal Marathon on Sunday sept 25th. First one. Strangely enough I have the same three shoes (V1 of the Alphafly though). Final choice for me will be the Endorphin Pro 3s. Next choice would have been the Vaporflys, which I adore for shorter runs 5k, 10k, but don't feel confident enough for a full 42k . Can't get used to the arch of the Alphafly, and, being a bit of a heel striker, I feel like the shoe has a negative drop and not enough of a roller.

Loch Ness in the Vapourfly's .....first marathon so buzzing to get going now 😄

I'm running in the Endorphin Pro 3 in November - Richmond, VA, USA.

Just ran my first marathon in Berlin used the alpha fly 1, felt perfect...the only other supershow I own are the brooks hyperion elite 2 which are notably slower than the alphafly...can't wait to try out the new ones

6:19 a mile and you feel like your not pushing it and running comfortably, that Endorphin Pro 3 must be an amazing shoe.

Dublin marathon end of October hopefully post covid and 100km .. bpm is all over the shop presently (covid curse) ... fingers crossed I can hit between 3hrs and 3hrs 30 A and B goal .. glad to see you are doing better.

I'd say the rc elite v2. I'm late to the party but best shoe available imo.

I'm tapering now for the Chester Marathon in a week or so. Really looking forward to it. It'll be the vaporfly 2 for me. The drops too low in the alphafly1, though if I could have tried the 2, maybe I'd gone with that shoe. Good luck for London!

Just did a half in the AF2 , if I could do it again I would pull out my partly used VF4%FK for sure. My first Marathon was done in the Nike Air Edge (1980's ) that was an amazing shoe...

Please do a real lab test to see which is the fastest shoe at various race paces (marathon, 1/2, 10, 5k)

I put two great races in the Endorphin Pro 3's. One was a PR in a half marathon. I have the alpfafly 1 and they have my marathon PR. Either one are great shoes but right now the Pro 3's just have it for me.

I was planning on using the Endorpin Pro 3 for Amsterdam (I've never worn the Nikes), I did find one of the rear grips was starting to lift (only 30 miles in them?!), I'll glue it down but a bit disappointed as I' do like them and got a Half PB in them too.

I compared the Vapor Fly next%2 and Endorphin Pro 3. Next% was too much assistance for my liking. I don't want to be that dependent on a shoe.
