Fitting Bar Risers Quad Lock 

I installed 2" risers on my VL1500 and found a big difference in comfort. I did not use this type, change the old riser for complete different riser. Should have done it years ago. Thanks for video.

Hi ,I have had 2 good rides out with the risers on both over 90 miles and they make the bike much more comfortable to ride very pleased with them ,and I think being near to the bars makes the bike handle better or that could just be me :).Ride safe Pete.

Nice ‘how to’ video. Would you consider the cradle that fits above your LCD Speedo for a sat nav ? It would be in line of sight then and not on the bars which is a distraction having to look down.

After fitting bar risers I found they did not help the sliding forwards problem with the uncomfortable seat, in fact they made that problem worse. As I did not have any real need for them I took them off again for a more comfortable ride. I do not take my NC750X off road where they might have been useful to have.

Hi there! You mention your bike is a 2023 dct model(as mine), but opening the link you gave for the risers, the ebay item that appears has in it's title specification it is to nc750x 2014 to 2020... That being said, are those the exact ones you fitted on your 23 NC (even being suitables for the 14 to 20 models)?! Thanks

If you took the arm of the quad lock the bracket looks like it would go smack in the middle with nothing touching the phone case.

I'm going to need heated grips because it'll be 40s and 50s where I ride some days. I see you fitted the Hondas. How tough was that install (finding the connectors inside the cowl?) Was going to go with aftermarket grips, but not a big fan of another switch, and the Honda button system looks nice. I like the idea of fewer extraneous doodads in the cockpit, since there's not a ton of room on the bars.

Enjoyed last 3 video's, Good variation. Can see your honest with no BS included in your views. Have you changed the screen on you NC. If so can I ask what screen it is and your opinion would be much appreciated. Have to be honest up to nearly 900mls now and the standard screen is pants.

What was the rise / offset? I ordered some with 30mm rise, 20mm offset and they seemed to make the front brake line too tight. I didn't install until I got a better look to see how it was hooked in. Later I noticed the brake line doesn't run all the way down to the forks, so no need to keep slack for fork compression, just need to make sure no tension on steering at either end. I see from the ebay listing your risers were 30mm rise, 15mm offset. Guessing mine should work. I'll give them a go one day.

Would you please share the brand of risers and where you purchased them? Also, was it necessary to reroute any cables or the front brake line in order to accommodate the new handlebar position? Thanks so much. Great video!

Can you please explain about cable tensioning in this model, does something need to be stretched or is it fine as it is ?
