Added the Atlas throttle lock to my 2021 NC. It works very well and fits great with the Honda heated grips. Not inexpensive for sure but well constructed and worth the cost.
Enjoyed that. Just back from work your video and a brew was a good wind down. I think practically you will find fitting the extenda was the best mod on the bike. Stops all the crap up the front of the rad. 1st job I did. Looking forward with interest to screen fitment and test .Cheers Tom.
@@birchwoodbiker Yes I know what your saying. I've fitted clip around protectors gives you about 70mm protection above the dust shield. And dirt cheap. Better than nothing I suppose.

@@birchwoodbiker many thanks again for your feedback. Managed to find a mint one owner 2019 DCT with everything already on it. The guy was so finicky he's even fitted a mudflap to the fender extender. Got Garmin GPS Givi bags as well. I know your annoyance…my first screen protector for the instrument panel was rubbish….then the front fender expansion was utter poop…way way too close to the tyre…going to get garage to drill and fix….my biggest moan is the awful rubbish battery cover, or rather the rubbish clips….to which I found out after much swearing I had both clips and two screws….no wonder it was awful to take off, going to use Velcro to attach the cover back….trickle charger works very well……I do get frustrated that some products do not fit as well as I thought, the fender extender issue was the sticky pads are too thick…so you get very little clearance…..I have a side stand pad fitted, but I am concerned the lean is far less…cannot get pad off due to stupid garage fitters over tightening the screws and knackering the heads……mmm…..the bike though is super…I am returning after 42 years since my nasty accident…drunk driver wiped out my RD250LC….and almost me in 1981…age 19….but that was then…..anyway, great bike but very suspect after market parts….I do like my fork protectors and GIVI engine bars….any idea where and how to get and fit those side protection bobbin things…….thanks for sharing….cheers Karl
@@birchwoodbiker hi….yes the battery is now just in front of and above the fuel tank…on my bike the 2023 version, the cover has the clip type attachment s and the bottom clip the same….but on my bike after thinking the two side clips were indeed clips, you just push the tops in to release, I think that type are awful, anyway the two side clips turned out to have a thread, and me not seeing this, tried and poked and prodded….sadly broke on of the screws….that was when I saw that there was a thread…..so used a screwdriver to release it, what a faff….my trickle battery cable I routed down behind the cover, and did not fit the bottom clip….the battery cover has fitted back, but hanging on by its teeth, I will use a Velcro band to stick on the reverse side of the battery cover..and Velcro on the surround space where the cover will fit onto……I think that when the cover was installed, two screws were wrongly put in and not the clips…..frustrating….another annoying thing, ok I sort of know how to do, but could not find anything in the manual to show how to adjust the rear brake, you can find info on adjusting the rear brake light actuator……as I say, bit frustrating, I am not the best minded mechanic, I was chuffed I did attach my charger correctly to the battery…..and I am sure the rear hugger will be easy to attach…but it really annoys me that some easy tasks are made bloody hard by poor after market products……so there we are….funny I never had these issues back in the late 70s and early 80s….hehe…cheers
