Gayle, another fabulous journal. Love the patch pockets. My favorite little Gayle detail is the stitching sampler. Still enjoying and discovering all the details in my cookbook. Thanks for sharing all your creations with us.
I love this book. I'm not much of a comment person...but just wanted to say thank you for all you do to make these vidios. Every time I watch one I learn something new. You are really good at what you do. Thanks again.
Gayle, love the iron on patch pockets! So clever! Love the stitching sampler! I adore this journal! Best ever! Wish that was me who had ordered it! TFS, Gayle!
Just beautiful Gayle ! I am now a full blown binder collector. I believe I'm up to 18 now! Haven't done anything with them, but every time I come across one, I hear your voice, Lol! I have a thing for tabs, vintage ads, and nice thick paper. TFS.
WOW Gayle!!! this book is soo beautiful!! you have done such an amazing job!!! I just got this same book a few weeks ago and I have been wanting to do the same thing as you have, but didn't know where to start. so thank you soo much for all the inspiration !!!! Much Love!! XoXoX
I used to work for Singer Sewing Machines in college tracing sewing classes to teenage girls. I found a Better Homes and Gardens vintage Cookbook with the same cover as your red and white check one. Forgot I had it. Now I need a sewing 3 ring binder but sure I can find one of those. Loved both you cooking and sewing book Gayle.
What fun, you are very talented. I have one of these vintage binders for the home handyman, but I am not as clever and haven't figured out how to alter it.
Joanne, oh how I love that handyman binder! I do have a couple videos of handyman journals on my channel. You might want to check those out for some ideas! The Tim Holtz scrapbook papers go really nicely in the handyman binders. 😄❤️
Gayle Agostinelli thank you so much! I most definitely will. I am new to all this but your tutorials have been wonderful! I just want to add a big thanks to you and other creative women who so generously share your talents with others.
Darla, you're sweet to think of it, but I don't do digital prints. I leave that to the experts! I love to make things....I don't love to sit at the computer! Lol! ❤️
What a fabulous book! I so enjoy your videos! How long does it take for you to complete a journal like this? Do you create the pages as you go, or do you plan them out before you start. I am really struggling to complete a project in a reasonable amount of time. Spend way too much time thinking than creating. Thanks for any input. 🐇
Hi Kathy! This journal took me two days to complete working almost all day just breaking for meals. My husband was out of town, so I had no other obligations! 😄. I would say that I'm much quicker now that I've made many, many journals. I took much longer when I first started making journals. I do make ephemera ahead in colors and styles that I tend to work with, so that speeds up the process. For instance, in this journal, the Tracie Fox inspired tag, guest check and the project life booklets were made ahead. My advice is not to worry about the speed with which you create the journal and just enjoy the creative journey and process!! Thanks for watching, my dear!! ❤️
Regina, I do have an Etsy store. www.etsy.com/shop/CinnamonT Recently, I've had a long list of custom orders, but I've stopped taking them while I catch up. I hope to list some journals in my shop in the near future. Keep an eye out as they usually go very quickly. I'm quite blessed with that!! Thank you so much, Regina, for your interest!! ❤️
Somehow, I just came across your RU-vid videos. I love your work. I ordered a cookbook and I'm trying to prep for it before I receive it. Would you be willing to tell me what the hole dimensions are for the 5 ring cookbooks?
Hi Ebony! Welcome to my channel! I'm glad you're here! What I do for the holes in the 5 ring binder is make a template. I just take out one of the pages and line it up with a piece of card stock and punch the holes using the original page. I then use the template for making all pages I add to the journal. Hope that makes sense and answers your question! ❤️
Gayle Agostinelli Thank you so much. That does make sense, but I don't have a page to use in order to make a template since I haven't received the book yet. That's why I asked about the spacing between each hole punch.
I haven’t done a start to finish but intend to. Just have done a few videos on making parts and pieces for the binders. Stay tuned... I’ll get to it soon! ❤️
Yes, Sandy, I usually get my orders from my Etsy. That said, though, I've stopped taking custom orders until I can get through the long list of orders that stacked up while I was recovering from shoulder surgery. I will definitely let folks know when I'm accepting orders again. Thanks so much for your interest, my friend! It makes my heart feel good. ❤️
