Fix Controller/Gamepad Not Working | Forza Horizon 5 PC

You are a legend, I was having trouble with Forza 4 and after trying to fix it for 2 hours following your video for 5 mins had the problem solved

my stuff still bugged when i try playing controller it tries detecting my mouse and controller for some reason

What am I supposed to do if I have exhausted every single one of your options in the video? Yet it still doesn't resolve my issue, but the controller will work with countless other games, just scrap any hope I have of getting to play forza with my friends again and kiss my progress and cars goodbye with a health uninstall? Don't mean this an ill way, just curious if there is anything else that I can do or try to have this controller work.

I couldn’t be more grateful that I found this video, I had no idea why my controller wasn’t working but now I am able to use it to play the game.

My controller randomly stopped working and nothing has worked since, I've tried everything and more. My controller just doesn't work anymore and I'm considering getting an Xbox controller. Any other options i could try before giving up?

Been using a PS4 controller on this and it kept disconnecting even after trying both DS4 and x360ce, your simple solution with the DS4 literally fixed it Tysm

For those who use x360, and play forza on the xbox pass, you have to go to controller manager, and disable the second option of digital hid control and activate it again with the background game served me this way

Thanks for the video, I was losing my mind! The one that worked oddly enough was in Steam, turning the controller input off and then back on. It's like the complicated version of a reboot lol.

Mine keeps switching between keyboard and controller and when I try to turn with the vehicle the camera looks the way I’m turning.

Keeps flicking between controller input and keyboard input. I've tried ds4, input mapper, default windows connection. None work. Even with restarting for each try

try to create a new profile for the controller in ds4windows, in "other" select xbox360 in "emulated control" it helped me

Im using x360CE with a steering wheel, Once i tap one of the controls like A for example, It pops up for a split second and then it returns back to "enter". I don't know what to do anymore

Mine works but it keeps thinking I’m using keyboard and mouse whenever I do use the controller, even if it I turn off my mouse and keyboard. Everytime I steer with the left analog stick it also uses it as a camera turn. Any suggestions?

What if I still had these problems after doing those steps I have Forza Horizon 5 on PC via the XBOX App and when I try to click on my ps4 controller buttons it glitches and won't let me enter the game when I can enter the game with my controller it still glitches and I can't even drive my car, I use DS4Windows and even after doing these steps to fix it It still glitches is there a .DLL that I need in my game files to use my controller properly ?

The DS4 thing made the trick for me. The controller was glitched out and constantly shifted between keyboard control and the symbols corresponding to the Xbox controller which caused neither to work properly.

For me its not working. I have issue with the new motorsport. Using PS5 controller and cant drive or be on the menu bc the bottuns switching

I downloaded the game on xbox game pass for pc and I'm having the same issue. My xbox controller works fine with steam games but when I launch forza on game pass on my pc the game does not recognize my controller and just let's me use mouse and keyboard.

i have a generic controller but i have forza h5 on microsoft store any solution for me?? i tried adding it to steam as an non steam game so i my controller can work but nothing happend and x360ce doesnt help with microshoft games because there is no file locatioin
